The next weekend, Tendou lets me know that he plans to take Hichimiya out.

Knowing those two, they were probably going to create a ruckus, and I found Semi and Aimee giving the two a lecture, when I popped inside the cafeteria to get some food.

"Een, aren't you going to eat with us?" Semi wants to know, pointing at the bag I have in hand. I shake my head in response, and Aimee glances at my soulmate with a sigh.

"You haven't noticed? Her deadlines mean she's going to stop her daily routine and sob about having procrastinated."

"Aimee, no," I whine, taking a seat beside my boyfriend.

"Do you remember the time when Een-chan kicked us out when we were reading stupid fanfiction?" Tendou asks, making Hichimiya giggle.

"She kicked us out and you looked like you had a seizure. Be careful, Semisemi, Een-seizures are scary."

"I'll keep that in mind. Good luck." Semi glances at me and squints his eyes. "Hurry up and finish it then. When's the deadline?"

"7 pm. It's worth a quarter of my grade, and I've been working on it for the past six months. I'm just going to do the proofreading and references." I let him know. Semi gives me a nod in reply, and I wave to my friends before I head back to my room.

After setting the pack of macaroni and cheese I had brought from the cafeteria, I sit down at my desk and take out my project.

I was glad that Aimee didn't seem too down in the dumps. She had gathered all her courage, meeting up with Akaashi and given him her chocolates.

She had let me know that it took every ounce of guts she had, to let him know that they weren't obligatory chocolates. Aimee had added that, as expected, Akaashi had told her what she already knew; that he had found his soulmate, who he confessed to being interested in for a while now.

I guess the fact that Akaashi had told her that he wouldn't accept the chocolates if she distanced herself from him, made Aimee happy enough to have tried. I hadn't met Akaashi, but I liked him already.

While I sat and turned the chair around, in my thoughts, I can only pray that Aimee found someone who she loved, who loved her back even more. Because it wasn't a lie to say that she was my pillar or support during all that I had gone through.

She was blunt, she had her own way of doing things, and to be honest, she had quite a lot of people who found her attitude mean, and hated her.

People who didn't know her enough might think that, but I knew her enough to love her to bits.

My thoughts are interrupted when Tendou bursts into the room.

"Ah, Een-chan, sorry!" He has to say. He then reaches for the pair of keys on the bedside table of Hichimiya's, before he gives a wave and leaves.

I don't think I managed to work for even an hour, before I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in," I call, turning my swivelling chair around to see Semi stepping inside.

"Hi."

"Hey. What's wrong?" I ask, which makes him flinch away a little. "What? What's wrong?"

It was only then, that I noticed the small bag in his hand.

"I got you something." He has to say, placing it on my desk. "I forgot to give it to you until Miyuzawa mentioned them today."

"Oh. Okay. Thanks."

Semi raises an eyebrow, shrugging. "I'll come visit later."

With that, I watch the way he walks outside.

Four hours later, I was starting to sweat.

I had found myself getting distracted when I got a notification on my phone for an update to a story I really enjoyed reading. The ending of the book made me tear up, and I didn't even realise I had been on my phone for the past two hours.

"Okay. No Wi-Fi." I announce to myself, standing up and turning the router off.

I had almost forgotten to eat my breakfast, and when I take the lid off from the container - and find that it had dried up. Slowly cursing, I put the lid back on, pushing the container away from me and sighing. There is a knock on the door, and I am surprised to see that it was Semi once again, poking his head a little.

"Finished?"

"Almost. I just have the referencing to do. I think."

With that response, he opens the door a little wider, stepping inside. He closes the door, walking up to me before he places a packet of juice on my desk.

"Drink that. Did you see what I brought for you, earlier?"

I shake my head, I had completely forgotten about that.

"Well. Check it out later. Is it fine if I wait here, for you to finish?"

There was still three more hours before I had to hand the assignment over to my teacher, so I give him a nod.

"Don't make too much noise."

"Yeah."

An hour later, I come to realise that I had missed out some of my research materials.

Also, an hour later, Semi decides to poke my shoulder.

"Done?"

"For God's sake, no." I hiss, standing up and walking to where the router was. Semi watches the way I turn it back on, sitting down on my chair with a plop and turning on the laptop.

"Can I help with anything?" He wants to know, climbing off from my bed and coming up to my desk.

"No."

There is silence, while I read bits of my assignment before typing them on the laptop.

"'It was a young woman... with beautiful hair. Her eyes utterly lifeless.'" I read out loud, after which I hear a chuckle from beside me.

"Heh. That's you right now, Een."

Normally, I'd find that funny, but at that moment, my natural instinct is to take whatever was nearest to my hand - which was the packet of juice he had brought - and punch it on his arm in annoyance.

The packet explodes, the colour of green dripping from the sleeves of his white shirt.

"For fuck's sake, Een-"

"For fuck's sake, Eita, why can't you leave me alone right now? I'm trying to do something here." I hiss. Semi's eyes turn a little dull, and he picks up the packet which now laid on the floor.

"It's the weekend. Is it wrong that I wanted to spend it with my girlfriend? Miyuzawa always says I'm not doing that enough, and when I try to-"

"Of all the time, why now? Please just leave right now before it gets worse. And you ask me to be more mature. What the hell are you doing? This is worth 25% of my grade, Eita. This means a lot to me."

"That's why, Een, I'm asking if I can help you."

"No. Just leave."

Semi does not respond, instead reaching for the box of tissues on my desk. He cleans up the spills of the juice on the floor, tossing the used ones into the recycle bin. He shoots me a cloudy glance before he slams the door behind him, leaving the dorm room.

And as soon as I heard that, I feel slightly guilty.

I don't usually get mad, but he really was acting babyish as of late.

Sighing, I turn back to my assignment. My heart is still beating heavily, even after half an hour. My stomach lets out a little growl, and only then did I realise I hadn't had any food all day. I glance at the bag Semi had brought earlier today.

My heart sinks with even more guilt, when I see that it is filled with not just leftover chocolates he received on Valentine's day... But also multiple candies, the kind I usually buy and eat while I do my papers.

I still had some editing to do to my paper, but when I finish my reference list, I rest my head on the table. My entire energy is drained out, and I just wanted something to drink.

With the intention of getting a drink from the vending machine, I stand up.

Well, that was my intention, before I fall flat on my face.

And it wasn't me tripping over something, I fully lose my consciousness as soon as I do.
