When Semi opens the cardboard box of his that had all of his certificates, I begin to squeal.

"You are being way too excited." He chuckles, crossing his legs and sitting beside me. The two of us had been unpacking for the past hour, and as suspected, Semi was very specific about how we organised everything in place. He told me that he wasn't as strict about things after the first time.

"The first time is when I learn where which thing goes. Its easier to order stuff later on."

He wasn't wrong.

While I smiled at the sheets of academic certificates that belonged to my soulmate, he drags another unopened box and uses a pair of scissors to cut off the tape over it.

"Oh. This isn't mine..."

Semi had also received an award in a math quiz in sixth grade, which I found extremely adorable. While I sit and take a snap of the sheet, Semi slips a paperback on top of the sheet.

"Hey, I was vid- Oh."

I freeze when I see the cover of the book he placed... And it wasn't something I had wanted him to see.

"Cripes."

"Een, what the fuck." He hisses, when I pick up my doujinshi. It had been weeks since I was getting worried about him finding out, because I was sure he would judge me.

"You're a fucking fujoshi. What the fuck." He has to hiss, when I hide the book behind me.

"You won't hate me, would you?"

"You idiot." He has to say, sealing the box back and pushing it away. "I won't, but I never expected that. Well, maybe I should have, since you were so chill about Takeru."

"You're chill too."

"That's because there are quite a couple of homos in the volleyball club back in Shiratorizawa." He informs, reaching for another box. "And no. Don't ask me who, because I am sworn to secrecy."

I lower my hands which I was about to use to exaggerate and convince him to tell me. Laughing it off, I smile, relaxing when Semi fishes through some of his manga volumes. I was so thankful that all the worrying I did was for nothing. After all, Semi had done his fair share of judging me already, after all.

As Hichimiya had told me a while back; "You've embarrassed yourself in front of him to the max already."

Where was the lie?

Since we still hadn't managed kitchen supplies, we intended to go out to get some takeout for dinner.

Well, that was the intention. Just like the past couple days. When we finish unpacking and putting on the bedspreads, we go out to the living room to see Takeru by the stove, frying meat on a pan.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Semi wants to know, peering to the contents of the pan. I see that he was working with white meat, and using a spoon to pour the herb-flavored oil and keeping it damp the entire process.

"Yamato-san gave me some when she saw me coming here from school." My younger brother explains, "White meat per 100 grams of a thin slice contain 14 calories and 0 carbs so-"

"Both you Fujiwaras' will drive me insane one day, I swear." My boyfriend interrupts, taking a seat at the dining table. He watches the way I take my purse, and I hurry down to the shop near the corner to buy some rice to go along with the meat.

When I come back upstairs, I see Semi setting the plates - which Semi's mom had gifted us - and I almost drop the paper bag I had in hand.

Not because I was shocked that someone who only passed in Home Economics thanks to our lenient teacher was setting the plates... But because the entire scene was so satisfying to see.

Semi Eita, who was my soulmate, looks up from the dishes, furrowing his eyebrows a little, irritated when all I can do is stare.

"Don't just stand there. I'm hungry." He has to say. Shaking my head and trying to hide the smile forcing to form on my face, I close the door and put the keys on the counter.

"What's so funny?" Takeru has to say, while he uses a pair of chopsticks to place the stacks of meat on the plate at the centre.

"She is being stupid, that's all." Semi decides to answer for me before I can say anything.

"Oh. That's not new then." The ravenette responds, putting the pan away. I stare in horror while the two exchanges a high five.

What on Earth have I gotten myself into?

I feel a little guilty for laughing, the next morning, when Semi wakes up late.

He had completely forgotten to turn on the alarm, and he'd have missed his first day if I didn't get a certain game's chatroom notification.

He called me a baby for playing it, but it saved him today.

"Goddamit." He hisses, making a huge fuss as he takes off the bedspread and rushes to the bathroom to get ready. In fact, I am not even able to go back to sleep, because when he comes outside, he slips and falls flat on his face.

"Fuck my life." He grumbles, and I get up from bed in horror, rubbing my eyes. Semi sits up, sighing loudly when he sees the clock displaying the time as 8.45am. I recall when he had called me irresponsible for us missing our entrances exams a couple months ago, and I have to actually use some of my hair to hide the huge smile that just wouldn't leave my face.

I never realised how cruel I was till then, even though I sincerely felt bad for Semi, who looked ready to slam his head on the wall.

"Looks like I can't get breakfast if I have to go there on time." He mutters, going through his shirts and picking one out. By then, I had managed to get rid of my sleepiness, and I drag myself to the kitchen while he changes. Taking a mug out, I prepare some coffee for my soulmate.

Since Semi and I were studying different things, our orientation sessions were held at different times, as well. While my session was - very luckily - in the afternoon, Semi's one was supposed to be on this morning.

The door to our room flies wide open, a frustrated Semi stepping out with a navy blue backpack dangling behind him. He accepts the coffee, downing it in one entire gulp.

He'd call me the careless person, but he had forgotten to pack a notebook. I pick out mine which I had pre-packed and kept inside my own backpack, before I hand it to him. It was my favourite one out of the three Semi had gifted me for White Day, and he seemed slightly hesitant to accept it.

"Please just go so that I can go back to sleep." I hiss. Mumbling under his breath, Semi takes it, stuffing it into his bag and glancing at his wristwatch which displays 8.53am.

"Fuck. Fine. I'm off, Een." He says, putting on his shoes. Taking a napkin, I hand it out to him when he opens the door.

"Come here for a sec." His voice is low while he pulls at the strap of my overalls, pulling me towards him. With a careless, yet rough kiss that exploded my entire mind, he dashes down the stairs.

"Go sleep, you idiot." I hear his voice call.

How do I sleep now?
