Manvi's POV

It has been a day since Arjun's arrest. I was not able to convince myself that Arjun is my culprit. I was 100% sure it was not whom who raped me. I know him since 5 years and very well aware of his touch.

I was struggling with thoughts when I heard Angel's voice "Manvi.. Chal nasta karle"

I turned and nodded. I walked out of the room with her. I sat down on the chair. A hand touched on top of my head. It was Rajdeep, he said "beta ab chinta ki baat nahi hai tum ek dum safe ho Arjun ko saza milegi ab.."

I jerked his hand away. I said "Di.. mujhe nasta nahi karna hai" I stood up and rushed to my room.

"Kya hua aise kyun chali aayi?" I heard her voice.

I turned and replied "Di.. aapko pata hai na mera six sense kabhi galat nahi hota hai Arjun asli guneghar nahi hai.. Uncleji hi hai" I tried to convince her.

"Mannu phir wahi baat" she said.

I tried to grab her hand, I managed to held it and requested her "please Di.. ek baar meri baat maanlo aur aap hi toh kehti ho na main galat nhi ho sakti please"

"Mannu lekin.." she was still not convinced.

"Di samjho na.. Abhi unhone mere sarr pe haath rakha mujhe acha nhi laga.. Wahi feeling aaya jo uss.." I paused.

"Acha okay thik hai.. Tum kehti ho toh main pata lagaungi" she finally said which I wanted to hear.

I smiled lightly and kept my head on her chest and wrapped her arms around my waist. She smeared my head.

"Sorry Di.. meri wajah se aapko hamesha takleef hoti hai" I said in low voice.

"Aisa nahi hai mannu.. Kuch cheezein hamare bas mein nahi hoti hai and I am sorry I could not protect you" She said, the pain was reflecting her voice.

"No di.. It is not your fault aapne hamesha mujhe protect kiya hai and I know aage bhi karoge" I replied.

"Hmm.. chal nashta karle aise bhooke nahi rehte" she said.

I looked up at her and nodded.

Angel's POV

She was confident that it was not arjun who had taken advantage of her blindness. I must then find out the truth. If, Arjun is not the culprit then she is not safe in the house yet. I cannot take any chance now as it is of her safety.

I took Manvi out for the breakfast, I made her sit on the chair and sat beside her. I eyed Rajdeep, he was my suspect.

"Angel beta tum hospital jaogi aaj?" Naina asked.

"Haan maaji jaana hoga ab toh koi pareshani waali baat hi nahi hai" I said while looking at her.

"Acha.. Manvi beta tum jaana chaho toh jaa sakti ho apni Di ke saath thoda acha lagega tumhe" she said.

Manvi shook her head in yes. I looked at Manvi and said "Ready ho ja.. Main bhi aati hun ready hoke phir chalte hai"

She nodded and moved to her room. I moved upstairs to get ready. I thought "kuch din nazar rakhni padegi.."

It has been few weeks since Arjun's arrest. Manvi was trying to get back to life but it was not easy. She still had fears, bad dreams and the doubt on Rajdeep but I was not getting any suspicious activity of his.

I walked upstairs to my room after putting Manvi to sleep.

Sachin was working on his laptop, I lay down beside him. He said "Angel.. I am sorry"

I nodded "hmm"

"Ab toh Arjun saza bhi kaat raha hai.. Then why are you so upset with me now?" he asked.

I looked at him and replied "tum ache se jante ho Sachin.. Why I am"

"Fine.. raho naraz but stop eyeing at my father mujhe dikh raha hai tum kya kar rahi ho itne din se" he said angrily.

I replied "achi baat hai Sachin.. Don't interfere in my matter raho apne papa ke saath khade main apni behen se saath rahungi"

I turned to other side and turned off the lights as the switch was closer to bed.

Around 3 am, I opened my eyes. I stood up, I glanced at the water jug it was empty. I took it and moved downstairs. I stopped when I saw a shadow heading towards Manvi's room. I climbed down the steps with cat paws. I hide behind the pillar and glanced. I was shocked seeing Rajdeep. He had slightly opened Manvi's room door and was beeping in. I moved a bit more nearer without making noise.

He was about to enter in, I moved and said "papa.."

He turned towards me, he was not expecting me at this time. He smiled and said "beta.. Maine awaaz suni mujhe laga kuch hua toh main dekhne aaya"

I said in normal tone "acha.. Main dekhti hun thank you"

He left to his room, I looked at Manvi who was sleeping peacefully. I closed the door and moved to kitchen. I poured the water in jug and stepped out of the kitchen. I heard a noise from room. I tried listen the conversation but could not. But was sure, Rajdeep was angry over something and he was yelling at Naina.

I sighed and moved upstairs struggling with my thoughts.

The next morning, I was standing at the window and sipping coffee. My eyes fell on the lady servant. She brought tea for Rajdeep who was sitting at the lawn chair. While taking the tea, he touched her hand. The servant immediately moved away her hand. "How cheap" I murmured.

"Kya dekh rahi ho?" Sachin asked.

I smiled scarastically "dekh rahi hun devta ke peeche chipe hevan ko" I said.

Sachin looked outside and it was Rajdeep sipping tea. He glanced at me and said "enough Angel.. Band karo unpe shaq karna tum"

I looked towards him and said "tumne abtak wahi drishya dekha hai jo tumhe dikhaya gaya hai Sachin.. Jab tumhari aankhon se patti hategi na tab sabse zyada takleef tumhe hi hogi jinhe tum apna ideal mante ho acha insan and all jab asliyat saamne aayegi na unki tab tumhare pairo ke neeche se zameen kheech jayegi.."

"Jaane Manvi ne kya kah diya hai tumhe aisa jo tum Dad pe shaq pe shaq kiye jaa rahi ho.." he said briefly.

"Don't.. Usne mujhe jo kaha sach kaha aur jo maine abtak dekha wo bhi sach hai.. Jhooth ki patti tumne apni ankhon mein baand rakhi hai Sachin.. " I said angrily and moved out of the room.

I moved out of the house, sat inside the car and headed to police station. I arrived there in 20 minutes, I talked with the on duty inspector.

"Mujhe Arjun se milna hai.." I demanded.

"Shinde.. Madam ko milade.."

The constable took me to his cell. I looked at him, he was sitting on the floor, closing his eyes.

"Arjun.." I called his name.

He opened his eyes and looked at me. He stood up and came closer to the cell gate. The first thing he asked was "Manvi kaisi hai?"

"She is fine.." I replied.

"Bhabhi aap mujhe 5 saal se janti ho na.. Aapko lagta hai ki main aisa kuch kar sakta hun Manvi ke saath? Sach mein?" he asked.

"Arjun.. I am sorry.. Sab saboot tumhare liye khilaf they yahan tak ki reports bhi" I said.

"Reports badle bhi toh jaa sakte hai na?" he said.

I never thought of this, yes reports could have been changed. I looked at him again..

"Wo meri dost hai, fayda uthana hi hota toh aapke peeche Pune mein ghar mein kabka utha chuka hota main itne saal intezar nahi karta.." He said.

"Arjun I know.. Tumhe fasaya gaya hai aur jisne ye gatiya harkat ki hai wo ab bhi ghar mein azaad ghum raha hai dusre mauke ki taak mein hai" I said firmly.

He looked at me in shock. "Haan Manvi ne jab bataya ki usey tumhare touch se kuch aisa waisa nhi laga toh maine decide kiya main Papaji pe nazar rakhungi and unke acts se mujhe yakeen hua wahi asli mujrim hai"

"Main aapko batana chahta tha but bata nahi paaya uss din business party mein maine unhe Manvi ko ajeeb tarah se chute dekha tha jiske baad wo room mein bhaagi thi" he said which shocked me.

"What?? Tumne kaha kyun nhi?" I asked almost yelling at him.

"Mujhe nhi pata tha ki ye sab hoga.. I am really sorry.." he said lowering his head.

"Acha tum mujhe batao jab maine tumhe kaha ki manvi ko jaake dekho? Tum gaye they uss raat?" I questioned him.

He looked up and said "darasal mera phone office mein hi chut gaya tha.. Ghar gaya tha main kisi zaroori kaam se agle din office gaya phone lene and dekha aapka message phir ghar pahucha toh pata chala Manvi ke saath kya hua"

I sighed and said "Sachin bhi office mein tha aur Papaji.. Wahi hai yakeen hai mujhe, Sachin ko yakeen nahi hai use papa aisa kuch kar sakte hai.. Mujhe bhi kuch karna hoga ab"

"Stop it Angel.." I heard a loud voice.

I turned and found Sachin standing there. The constable said "oh.. Yahan tamasha nhi karne ka.. Samjhe bahar jaake karo jo karna"

I left the police station.

Sachin's POV

I had it enough, she was doubting my father for whom Manvi was like a daughter. He would never do such thing with her. But, she can't keep bitterness for my father in her heart for lifetime. I have to prove her wrong and clear her doubts as it was too much now.

She was continuously keeping eye on my father, looking at him suspiciously.

"Ab bahut ho gaya.. Jald se jald iska doubt clear karunga main.."

I moved out and said "Angel.."

"Kya hai Sachin?" she asked rudely.

"Bahut ho gaya.. Ab main tumhara doubt clear karunga ki mere Dad nirdosh hai.. Tumhara aur Manvi ka shaq bewajah hai" I said in determine tone.

"Really Sachin? Thik hai diya tumhe maine mauka jitni koshish karni hai karlo kya paata issi koshish mein unka asli rang hi tumhare saamne aa jaye" she said confidently and sat inside the car. She drove off leaving me in my own thoughts.
