Angel's Pov

I had fallen asleep, suddenly I felt a jerk in my arm. I looked and it was Manvi who panicking while sleeping. It seemed she was having the nightmare about the incident.

She opened her eyes with jerk, sweating badly. I held her hand she jerked away.

"Mannu.. Main hun.. Angel" I said with tinge of pain reflecting in my voice seeing her condition.

Tears slips down from her eyes, I pulled her into a hug and started comforting her.

I hated her tears, who ever was reason for it. I am not going to spare the person. I smeared her head and she was sobbing.

"Mannu ab tujhe koi kuch nahi karega main hun na tera paas" I said.

I moved a bit but she held my hand tightly. She spoke with fear in her eyes "nahi jao Di please.."

"Kahin nhi jaa rahi hun main.. " I assured her. I picked up the water glass and forwards it towards her. "Lo paani peeyo"

For the first time, she could not hold the glass with her sense power. Her hands were shivering, I made her drink the water, I closed my eyes to hold my tears. I was feeling really guilty.

She drunk and I kept the glass on side. "Sorry mannu meri naak ke neeche ye sab hua tera saath aur main kuch nhi kar saki" I said with heavy voice.

She kept her head on my shoulder and I held her hand firmly. She was silent, the wounds on her body and face were speaking the pain she had suffered. I smeared her back. She flinched with pain and I felt her pain right in my heart.

My phone rang, I picked it up "haan.. Main kuch din hospital nhi aaungi.. Please meri behen ko meri zyada zaroorat hai" and ended the call. I turned towards Manvi and found her sleeping.

I carefully made her lay properly and covered her with blanket. I smeared her head and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. I moved out of the room closing it.

As soon as I stepped out found Rajdeep, Naina, Arjun and Sachin standing there. It seemed they were waiting for me. I wiped my tears.

Sachin asked "manvi kaisi hai Angel?"

"kaisi hogi Sachin? Jante ho kya hua hai uske sath.. She is raped.. Jo usne kabhi apne sapne mein bhi nhi socha hoga wo hua hai uske saath.. What was her fault haan? Yahi ki wo dekh nhi sakti na? Fayda utha liya uska... iss ghar mein se kisine" I almost yelled.

Sachin said "Angel kya kah rahi ho tum? Ghar mein se koi"

"Haan Sachin.. Jo hua ghar mein hua hai kisi bahar waale ne nahi kiya hai ye sab" I said confidently.

"Tum yakeen se kaise kah sakti ho Angel?" Naina asked.

I looked towards her and said "kyuki meri behen bahar jaati hai toh sirf mere saath, Sachin ke saath, ya phir Arjun ke saath.. Aur kisiko janti tak nhi hai sirf apno ke beech rahi hai wo and kisi apne hi uski kamzori ka fayda uthaya"

Sachin said "Angel.. Koi kyun uska rape karega haan? Ho sakta ye sab uska vaham ho waise bhi wo dekh bhi nhi saki hai kuch"

I was left stunned hearing this, Angel asked "Sachin tumhe lagta hai main aur meri behen jhooth kah rahi hai haan?"

"Mujhe bas itna pata hai iss ghar mein aisa koi kuch nhi kar sakta hai Angel.. Aur kal hum mein se koi bhi ghar mein tha bhi nhi" Sachin said it clearly.

I smiled sarcastically, all the while he said he is always with them but today he is not trusting her. "Sachin tumne kaha tha aajse Manvi meri bhi zimedari hai aaj uske saath itna sab hua hai aur tum hi saath nhi de rahe ho"

Sachin replied "Angel.. Main janta hun mere ghar mein se koi aisi neech harkat nahi karega, pehle bhi kitni baar use vehem ho chuka hai Angel mat bhulo tum.."

I sighed and asked "kahin tumne toh nhi kiya hai uske saath yeh sab"

Sachin shouted "Angel.. Kya bakwaas kar rahi ho"

"Sahi toh kah rahi hun main.. Tum bhi toh ab tak extra sweet bane hue they uske saath.. Manvi ke sabse qareeb tum aur Arjun rahe ho... mat bhulo ye baat aur papa bhi toh uske saath kitne pyar se baat karte hai ho sakta unhone hi" I replied angrily.

"Angel.. Tum bhi ye baat mat bhulo kal koi bhi hum mein se ghar mein nhi tha.. She was all alone in the house aur bahar itni security hai koi kaise ghar mein aa sakta hai haan?" he questioned.

I sighed as there was no point of arguing, Manvi was right no one would trust that a blind girl can get raped. I said "Thik hai tumhe yakeen nhi hai na ki uske saath ye sab hua hai fine then ab jo karegi police karegi"

Everyone was left shocked, Rajdeep said "ye kya kah rahi ho tum Angel.. Hamare ghar mein police"

"Haan papa.. Police aayegi aur investigate karegi. Aur main Manvi ka medical check up bhi karwaungi tab pata chalega kaun sach kah raha hai aur kaun jhooth" I said while looking at Sachin.

"Angel.. Police.. Hamari yahan reputation hai ghar mein police aayegi toh.. " Sachin said.

"I don't care Sachin.. Mere liye meri behen tumse bhi zyada pyari hai.. She is raped Sachin.. She is raped.. Tum maano ya na maano, tum saath do ya na do main uske saath rahungi hamesha samjhe" I yelled at him.

I took out my phone and called police. "Inspector Main Angel Khanna, aap please abhi issi waqt khanna house aa jayie yahan meri behen ka rape hua hai aur mujhe shaq hai kisi apne hi ye harkat ki hai" I said.

The inspector agreed and I ended the call.

"Sachin.. Meri zimedari thi uski raksha karna but I failed, ab lagta hai maine galti ki tumse shaadi karke you are not even supporting me.." I shouted as I was hurt. He is not trusting me.

"Tum kaise soch sakti ho Angel ki main aisa kuch karunga? Mere Dad Manvi ko apni beti maante hai aur Arjun sabse acha dost hai mera he is like my brother.. Baat toh saaf hai Angel ya toh ye manvi ka vehem hai ya kisi baharwale ne kiya hai" Sachin said clearly.

I smiled and nodded "okay then.. Dekhte hai kaun sacha hai aur kaun jhootha.."

I heard a scream sound from Manvi's room. I rushed into the room and found her awake. She was scared, I moved to bed "mannu.."

She panicked and asked "aap kyun gaye mujhe chodke haan? Maine kaha na mere saath raho mere paas.. Nhi jao bahut ganda.. Nahi.."

I cupped her face and said with teary eyes "kahin nhi jaa rahi hun main.. Hun tere saath"

I pulled her into my embrace, she said "kaha tha na maine.. Koi nhi maanega isliye nhi bataya tha aapko sach maine"

"Na maane.. But main pata lagake hi rahungi ye sab kiya kisne hai.." I said.

I heard, the car stopping sound from outside. "Lagta hai police aa gayi"

She looked up at me and asked "Di police?"

"Haan mannu.. Police mere paas aur koi option nhi bacha hai mujrim khudba khud toh apna jurm qubool karega nahi.. Ab police karwayegi" I said..

She seemed to be worried and scared, I assured her "Tum daro nahi.. Main hun na saath"

She shook her head in reply. "Main aati hun thik hai.." I said but she did not let me move.

"Nhi.. di akele nhi chodo" she said scaredly.

"Bas inspector se milke aati hun hmm.. Koi nhi aayega ab bharosa rakho mujhpe" I said trying to convince her.

She nodded positively and I moved out.

I saw a inspector along with a constable standing there. He looked towards me and said "Viraj Bakshi aapne phone kiya tha?"

I nodded in yes.. "Jee meri behen ke saath galat hua hai aur wo iss ghar ke kisi aadmi ne kiya hai" I said.

"Tumhe shaq hai Angel.. " Sachin interrupted.

I looked towards him and replied "yakeen hai.."

"Miss Angel please.. Mujhe sabse pehle victim se puch taach karni hogi kahan hai wo?" he asked.

"Andar room mein.." I said.

"Can I talk with her?" he asked.

I nodded and took him to Manvi's room.
