(Play music)

Geno gasped as the creature charged after the vampires and the Leader.
The leader immediately shoved the others away before the creature, or the X, could hit them.

"Greson!" Geno called for him in a worried tone and looked away to find greson, only to see him rush up the stairs. Geno looked out the the window to see more vampires going to attack the creature. It howled in pain as one vampire threw a spear into its back.

The creature quickly scratched the spear our and waved it's hand near the vampire, hitting them straight on and making them hit a tree.
Geno heard the familiar sound of HP dropping, but instead of the monster staying unconscious. They began to dust, the sound of a monster soul breaking filled everyone's ears.

The solider vampires forced themselves to turn away from their fallen friend and give their full attention to the creature.

"Greson, I'm scared!" A crying voice said behind geno, he turned his head to see the kids with greson.
He had a serious yet panicked look on his face, "It's going to be fine, we just need a place to hide okay?" Greson said calmly to the little vampire but they continued to cry and cry till some of the other kids started to get upset and start to cry as well.

Geno rushed over to them, "hey, hey." Geno said soothingly, they all looked up to him.
Geno smiled, "look, we're going to be safe. We just need to......leave, okay. I promise I'll keep you safe. I can use magic remember?" Geno smiled hoping it'll calm them all down a little, it did a bit and they wiped their tears away.

They all started to scream and cry again when a cry of pain and the screaming of the creature was heard outside. Geno started to panic and lose his calm, "s-shh, ssshhh. It's ok-okay, it's okay - greson what are w-we going to do?" Geno stuttered.

"I, I don't know. It's not safe to get them outside to the Castel." Greson said, he started to put a lot of thinking into a plan before geno ran to the back of the room.

"Greson!" Geno called over at the end of the hallway, greson ran with the kids behind him, geno patted the wooden wall and summoned a bone.
"There's tons of tree here, if I can break down the wall you guys can walked through the trees without being seen. You'll be safe."

Greson nodded and grabbed the bone from geno's hand and began to his the wooden wall. Geno summoned another one and went to work, the wood was hard and they could bearly manage to get a dent out of it before a few children started to scream and cling onto geno and greson.

Geno handed the bone to fell as he raced back to the window to see what scared the kids.

Geno gasped as he saw more and more vampire soldiers being picked up by the creature and being flung into the air.
Geno gave off a quiet scream when he saw the creature getting closer to the orphanage he and the kids were in.

The Leader stopped it from coming by turning into a big bat and scratching it in the eye.
The creature wailed in pain and tripped back.

The leader then pulled out a staff from his cloke and ran to the creature.
Geno didn't get any time to see what happened next because he ran back to the wooden wall.

"Greson!" Geno called out and greson turned his head.
"We have to hurry, that thing is getting closer. The Leader just managed to get him a few feet away.  But We don't have that much time!"

Greson nodded and proceeded to hit the wooden wall faster, fell started working at a faster pace as well. Some kids, that looked like fells age, started to hit the wall with their fist and legs making the process go faster.
Geno summoned a few more bones to give to them.

"Geno! Geno!" Mini cried pointing at the window.

Geno went back to check and more panic aroused through him.
The leader was cornered near the houses on the far side away from the orphanage.
He held his staff in front of him for protection as the creature raised its claws.

But the creature didn't hit the Leader, instead it hit the house behind him causing it all to collapse on the leader.
For a split second the leaders expression was filled with fear before being crushed.

"No!" Geno cried out, but a wave of relief crashed over him we he saw the Leader through the dust.
But it didn't last long, the leader laid on the ground. His left arm was trapped in the rebel of the house.

He struggled, tugging on his arm to free it but he hissed in pain. Geno could see the panic reveal on the Leaders face as the creature pulled it's arm up again above the Leader.

"Geno! We managed to break it open!!" Fell called from the hallway.

Geno gritted his teeth before summoning a few flying bones.
"Good!" Geno yelled as he angled the bones, "Now RUN!"

Geno shot the bones into the arm of the creature before it smashed The Leader. It's arm swung back and the creature cried out.

Geno's soul sunk as the creature quickly got back up and ripped a tree from the ground.
Geno immediately put his hands up as the creature threw the tree directly at him.
The tree was covered in magic as soon as it went in the air only for a second before he heard a voice call from behind.

"Geno!" Fell yelled, "what ah!-"

"Fell!" Geno yelled back and lifted his arm so that his magic surrounded fells soul. Immediately geno swung him as far as he could away from him.

But as soon as he turned back to the window everything turned black.

"I don't like this idea, Chara." Asriel whined, chara gave Asriel a small playful shove.

"Oh come on you big baby!" Chara tease, "Papy is only five, and you don't see him getting cold feet. Plus, think of the peace it will bring to our kingdom!"

"B-but," Asriel started.

"No buts," Chara said and waved a finger, "royalty have to make scary decisions for their kingdom."

"Do I have to go too." Geno whined as well, he and papyrus sat on the ground of their tent.

"Of course!" Chara said and stood up, "you're royalty too!"

"I know, but that doesn't mean I want to go." geno shivered.

Chara groaned, "you two are 10 years old! And I'm 9, Papy is 5! Why are you guys scared?"

"I-i'm not scared...." geno and Asriel mumbled.

"Babies," Chara said and crossed their arms and sat next to Asriel.

"I want to go!" Papyrus giggled and messed with his red handkerchief.

"You can't go unless I go, and I don't wanna go." Geno sighed.

"That's not fair, Genocide!" Chara pouted, "he should be able to decide for himself!"

"Well I'm his older brother, Character." Geno shot back, "he can't go anywhere without me, dad said so."

"Your dad is a nut," Chara shrugged.

"And You're and nutcase," geno laughed.

Chara giggled and shrugged, "I'll give you that one."

"How about we go to bed?" Asriel said and laid down, "its getting late." he yawned.

"Yeah," geno agreed and began to lay down, but in the corner of his eye he was sure he saw chara wink at papyrus.

First mistake.

He thought nothing of it and closed his eyes and began to sleep.

For what seemed a few hours geno slept peacefully till sounds of the tent opening awoke him.

He groggily got up to see Asriel walking right out of the tent.

"Huh?" Geno yawned, and got out of the tent.
He followed Asriel down a small slope their tent was on. Asriel didn't seem to notice him following him.

"Asriel!" Geno quietly called out, they were at the bottom of the hill now, into a forest, "Asriel!" He said a bit louder.

Asriel stopped and looked back at geno, immediately he ran to him.
"Chara and papyrus left!" Asriel panicked, "at night I heard something moving outside the tent so me and chara looked outside and we saw someone!"

"What!?" Geno said in disbelief.

"I closed the tent and told chara to go back to bed, but then a few minutes later I wake up and see papyrus and chara running outside to the forest!" Asriel said, some tears started to form into his eyes.

Geno grabbed Asriel's hand and looked at him, "show me were they went so we can find them both and go back."

Asriel sniffed and nodded, leading geno through the trees.

It wasn't hard to find them, in fact, they were both waiting for them.

"There you guys are!" Chara said and walked over to Asriel and geno. Papyrus walked with them holding their hand.

"What do you think you're doing!?" Geno whispered harshly, "It's dark out here, we could get lost."

"No we won't!" Chara said enthusiastically, they pointed to the hill that was filled with light, "there's our camp out! As long as we can still see it we won't get lost!"

"Are we really going through with this plan chara?" Geno said seriously.

Chara nodded and pulled out a knife from their pocket, "if anything goes wrong, we'll use plan B."

"I-i don't like plan B," Asriel said.

"Yeah." Geno agreed,"I don't like it either, Asriel won't absorb your soul. We can just go back and go to sleep."

Chara covered the side of papyrus's head, where ears might have been, "it'll be quick, I won't feel a thing! And when Asriel does absorbs my soul, well share a body! So it'll be like I never died!"

"How are you so enthusiastic about dying!?" Geno said a bit shocked.

Chara looked at both Asriel and geno, giving them a stern look.
"Ever since the human race became extinct I was the only one left." Chara explained, "it was all because of a war between humans and monsters! You guys had no choice but to attack, so the human race fell and only one human baby was left."

"Chara....." Asriel said.

"I want to bring peace! I don't want to fight anymore!" Chara said a bit loudly, "this is the only other race in existence, so let's try and bring peace between monsters and vampires!"

Chara reached out their hand to them, "are you with me? Either way I'm going to try, but it will be better of my brother and you were here next to me."

"Geno, you know what happened with your dad when he was young," Chara pleaded, "you don't want that to happen again, do you?

Geno and Asriel looked at each other for a few moments.

They look Chara's hand.

Second mistake

".......Chara...." geno slurred, his vision came back and he gasped.
He felt a large amount of pressure on his back, so much that it was becoming really painful. He looked around as much as he could but it wasn't helpful, he only saw that some pieces of wood and the tree were crushing him.

He couldn't see the creature,  he could only hear it making slow big steps toward him.

"Geno!" A voice called.

Geno looked up and saw that fell was getting up from the place geno had thrown him so he wouldn't get hit.

Geno heard the screams of the creature and immediately summoned blue bones around him so fell couldn't get near.

Fell stopped as soon as geno summoned the bones, "what are you doing!? Let me help you!"

"N-no," geno gasped, the pressure on his back felt heavier and heavier by the second, "the-the creature sounds too c-close, get out of here!"

"No!" Fell said stubbornly.

"Fell..." geno said, his eye started to glow red and blue, "Get away, NOW!"

Fell slightly screamed and backed away, he looked at geno then to the back of him. He gritted his teeth before turning around, "don't die!!"

He disappeared into the trees.

"....no....promises..." geno chuckled to himself, the amount of fear he was feeling didn't seem to bother him. The pressure increased on his back and the footsteps of the creature got louder and louder as geno's soul started to beat slower and slower.

Geno tried as much as he could to get out, he gripped the floor boards and tried to pull himself out of the ruble but it only increased the pressure.

"Aaggh!" Geno cried out in pain, his body felt like it would snapped in seconds if he didn't get out.

Geno could see the creature's shadow cast over him in the darkness, he saw the shadow of its hand slowly raise up above him.

Geno gasped but shut his eyes, he waited for the monster to kill him.

"SSSSSRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH" another cried of complete pain echoed through the creature.
Geno's eyes shot up and saw a few vampire soldiers around him throwing spears at the creature.

Geno saw the shadow of the creature back up away from him and the soldiers, the soldiers ran towards the creature leaving geno still under the rubble.
Geno wanted to call out for help but his voice didn't seem to want to work.

But out of nowhere a gasped of relief came from geno as he felt the pressure on his back come off.
Almost immediately after that geno was lifted forcefully by his hand off the ground.

"ow! Ow!" Geno shuddered as he felt a stinging pain shoot up his right leg.
A hand went around his waist to support him up.

"Can you stand?" The voice asked, it was out of breathe.

"K-kinda," geno said as he looked up,  a quiet gasped left his mouth as he saw the leader staring back at him. Surprisingly, geno realized that they were actually the same height so it it wasn't to hard for the leader to hold him.

"Well," the leader said still trying to catch his breath, he put geno's arm around his neck and held on to it.
"Get ready to run."

Before geno couldn't manage to say anything the leader already started to run, geno had no choice but to run as well since he had geno's arm around his neck and a hand on his waist.

Pain did go through geno's leg but he got used to it a bit. The Leader ran to the path that led to the castle almost tripping the way there.

He carefully set geno down before standing up again, "you won't get hurt here, just wait."
The leader tried to leave but tripped over a few wooden boards that must have be thrown from the rubble.

The Leader fell on his arm that had been trapped in the rubble.
"Agh!" Geno heard the leader try and conceal a cry of pain.

The Leader pushed himself up, slightly trembling, and gripped his arm.
The sleeve of the cloke went down a bit and geno could see the cracks on his arm, as far as he could see, the cracks might have been all the way up to his shoulder.

"Damn it," The Leader groaned gripping his arm harder.

"Don't push yourself if your hurt," geno hear himself say.

"I can't," the Leader surprisingly replied, "I have to help them."

The Leader pointed to the vampire soldiers cornering the creature. He tried once more to get up, but fell again.

A rush of determination went through geno as he looked back at the castle.
"They'll be fine. But if you want to help them you have to help yourself first."

Geno ignored the bitting pain in his leg as he stood up and looked to the trees where the kids escaped.
He hoped that they made it to the castle safely.

The Leader stood up and gripped onto tree near him to support himself.
"Where are the kids?" The Leader asked.

Geno looked at him, his sense of fear for the Leader started to creep in.
"T-they went within th-the trees," geno explained, "they should be by the castle by now."

"Thank you," the Leader said breathlessly, "for keeping them safe."

Geno's eye widen in surprise, no words came from his mouth. He really wouldn't know what to say.

But somehow he managed the words, "Let's get out of here, you need help."

The Leader looked at him then at the soldiers before shutting his eyes and nodding 'okay' and painfully walked to geno.

Geno's quickly rushed to him to support The Leader. His soul started to rush a bit when he felt how close they were.

"We'll be safer in the trees," geno said, "if we walked the path well be spotted easily, but if we go across really quickly we probably won't be spotted."

The Leader nodded and held on to geno tighter, "Let's go."

He and geno started to run away from the path and across the field to the trees.
Geno gritted his teeth through the pain in his leg and kept on going.

Luck didn't seem to be on their side then.

Immediately after they started to run the creature spotted them and chucked away the soldiers.
Geno panicked but felt The Leader trying to push him forward as the creature charged after them.

"Leader!" A small voice called.

"What!?" Geno gasped as he saw a small bat swoop down from the trees to them.
The bat then formed into a small deer vampire.
"Mini!" Geno yelled as he grabbed her, the next thing he knew he was pushed forcefully to the ground protecting mini.

"Aaagh!" A cry of pain wailed a few feet away from geno.
Geno saw the creature pinning down the Leader down so hard that it was causing pain.

Immediately geno sat up and pushed mini behind him from harms way. His eye glowed a blazing blue and red color as tons of red, blue, and white bones were summoned and thrown at the creature.

The creature immediately got off of the Leader and cried in pain as It's HP got lower and lower.
Geno immediately rushed to The Leader and helped him up.
Geno made sure to be careful, the leader only had 8 HP left.

And as a last attempt, the creature slashed at geno. Geno quickly moved to the side grabbing The Leader and Mini.
It managed to hit him on the shoulder, ripping through his shirt.
All three of them were thrown to a tree behind them.
Geno held on to mini as The leader crashed into the tree and geno and mini crashed into him.

With what strength geno had left, he summoned one more bone and shot it at the soul of the creature.

The creature made no sound as its soul shattered, all there was to hear was the sound of it dusting.

Geno slightly screamed at himself, he'd had realized what he's done. But he forced himself off The Leader and let go of mini.

He saw others rush to them, geno gasped. The Leader was passed out against the tree.
The Leader's HP was now a 1.

Geno's eye widened as he carefully got off the Leader.
But instantly collapsed to the ground at the amount of pain he felt.
He felt it on his shoulder where the creature had slashed through his shirt, in his leg where it had been crushed. Even his old wound on his chest felt like it was burning.

He was grabbed and lifted up, they did the same as the Leader and brought them somewhere.

Geno soon blacked out.

(Stop music)

Geno woke up in a small hospital bed in a room.
He weakly opened his eye and scanned the room.
It was a bit big, and room was covered head to toe with velvet colors.
Geno looked to the side and saw greson laying on the chair with his hat over his eyes.

"......Greson," geno said.

Greson tipped his hat back and looked at geno, "Hello, are you in any pain?"

As soon greson had asked, pain washed  over geno's body.
"Y-yeah..." geno slightly whimpered.

Greson sighed, "they couldn't connect the wire to your soul. You wouldn't let them."
Greson understood souls were a private thing, they were mostly shown to family, close friends, or lovers.
But doctors should be an exception?

Geno blinked a few times before remembering. He had woken up once to the doctors putting bandages to his wounds. Then he had freaked out when they started to summon his soul to connect the wires.
He remembered freaking out due to the fact his soul looked like that creatures.

More like a perfect replica. geno thought.

Geno put his hands up to his face, "I'm so sorry, i- I'm just acting stupid!"

Greson got up so quickly that it startled geno.
"Geno.....don't say that." Greson sighed and walked to geno's side, "its not stupid, you've been through things that messed you up. And I'm not here to judge you, you can trust me."

Geno took a deep breath of air and nodded, "you won't tell anyone?"

Greson nodded and grabbed the wires, "not a soul."

Geno sighed, "okay," and tried to sit up before falling back.

"No no," Greson said, "stay laying down, it'll be easier that way anyway. I don't think i should do this though, I'm not really sure how."
Greson looked at the two wires doubtfully.

Geno smiled, "It's okay, my mom - Alphys, is the royal scientist and doctor. She taught me how to do things like these."

"Ah," Greson nodded and hooked the wires to a small bag filled with a purple liquid.

"I...i think for mine we'll have to use one wire..." geno said quietly.

Greson shook his head 'okay' and only attached one wire to the bag.

Geno took a few moments before lifting his hand a bit, a familiar ting rang through the room. And geno's soul floated in the air in front of greson.

Greson took a look at his soul, his soft expression didn't change.
"This is what you were worried about?" Greson asked, "its alright, geno."

Geno shrugged, "can't help it,"

Greson sighed before lifting the wire to geno's soul, "Now tell me how to do this, I don't want to hurt you."

"It's easy," geno assured, "just attach it to the side - ow!"

"Did I do something wrong?" Greson asked quickly, the wire was now attached to geno's soul.

"No," geno laughed feeling a wash of energy go over him, "That's supposed to happen, I wasn't prepared for it though."

"Ah," Greson chuckled relived, geno's soul floated back in his ribcage. The wire poking out of his shirt.
"You should get some rest," Greson said as he started to leave the room.

"Wait!" Geno called out, "what about the Leader? Is he okay? He only had 1 HP Left."

Greson smiled, "he's okay, he's actually healing in the other room. Medicine for vampires goes slower than monsters."

"Oh." Geno said relived but perked up, "is The Leader actually his name, it sounds a bit...I dunno, weird?"

"No," Greson laughed, "his name is Deathly, though if you do call him by his actual name I suggest Death. Sounds a bit better to me."

Geno laughed a bit too, "Well at least his name isn't Genocide, though I don't think there's much of a difference." Geno yawned.

"Get some rest geno," Greson ordered, "we're at the castle!"

Ok this took way to fucking long but it's here!!!

I would have been done with it a few days ago but I left Friday night to Fresno to see my cousins so that was fun!

Lol its literally 11:38 PM here and it's a school night.
