It was time for Remus to go.
Virgil lives relatively far away, about an hour or so drive, which left a feeling of dread in the bottom of his stomach. He and Remus have had a lot of fun these last few days. He had broken a tremendous amount of rules, luckily, for most of them, Logan had let him get away with them considering his friend is there. They had stayed up for hours throughout the night, and wouldn't go to bed until at least 5 am, in return they'd all day while Logan worked. Both of them were scolded accordingly and forced to clean as Logan found the state of the living room to be a disaster.
Not to mention Janus wasn't exactly excited about having to drive him to Virgil's house. His brother had refused to come down, but then again, he was already doing him this favor so he couldn't complain too much, it didn't damper his annoyance though, he isn't fond of driving.
"Call me on your way back," Logan had said before he had climbed in. Logan would have insisted that he drove, unfortunately, he has work, rendering him unable to do so.
And now here they are, stuck in a car for an hour and a half.
"Are you sure Virgil agreed? You're not just getting rid of me?" Remus half-jokes, though, wanted a genuine answer.
Janus snorted in response. "Idiot, of course not." He says, reaching over briefly to playfully pinch him, earning a shriek. "He did agree, I know surprising, who would want to live with you?"
"Har, har," Remus snickers. "C'mon admit it, you love me."
"Is that what you tell yourself at night?"
"Janus, trust me. You are not on my thoughts at night."
The two laughed at that and Janus shook his head. "I don't know, with your gay ass who knows."
"Says the one who has a boyfriend."
"Hey, it's not gay if we have our socks on bro," Janus insists, laughing further at their idiotic conversation.
Their laughter fell into a comfortable silence until eventually, the time flew by. In this time, Janus had realized his growing need for the bathroom but ignored it, he could wait. For now, he parked the car at a nice, modern home that's pale blue. The door is a darker blue, which contrasted nicely with the painted exterior.
"Wow, I'm surprised he doesn't live in a medieval castle," Remus says honestly.
"I don't think Virgil chose the design for this," Janus says with a chuckle. While he hasn't spoken with his brother for years, he knows one thing about him and that's he loves darkness. There is no way he chose a light blue for his home.
"Better than nothing." Remus chirps, climbing out. Janus hesitated before following.
Virgil soon exited his house, having heard a car pull in, his clothing confirmed Janus' thoughts. He's wearing a black hoodie with purple stitches covering it, though, it didn't seem old so Janus assumed the stitches are a fashion choice. His hair is long and purple, Janus had to admit it suited him better than his brown hair.
"Hey, Virgil..." Janus greets awkwardly, giving a small wave while Remus grinned brightly and threw himself at Virgil, startling the man, though, he had no time to dive away as Remus wrapped his arms around the other, squeezing tight. A few years ago, he would be able to lift him, but now, due to malnourishment, that wasn't happening.
"What's up, emo boy?!" Remus says excitingly, while Virgil gave a glare at the man, lightly pushing him away, surprised to find how easy it was to do so.
"The sky," He says sarcastically.
"You're as charming as ever," Remus says with a laugh.
"Watch it, or you'll sleep in the shed."
Remus pouts, crossing his arms. "No fair,"
Virgil rolls his eyes. "Just grab your stuff." He demands.
Remus grumbles and turns towards the car, quickly grabbing a backpack from the back, tossing it over his shoulder. Virgil eyed it, raising an eyebrow.
"That's it?"
"This is it," Remus confirms, and for a second, he watched Virgil's eyes soften before they narrowed again.
"Good, then I don't have to help carry anything in."
Remus snorts in response and Janus cracks a smile, shifting awkwardly. He wasn't sure what to say, or what to do, seeing his little brother in person again felt surreal. After what happened, he wasn't sure he would ever see him again.
"Well," Janus begins. "I guess I should start heading back,"
Remus nods a little and tugs Janus into a hug, starling him, though, he soon relaxed and squeezed his arms under his armpits.
After a few moments, they pulled away and Janus glanced at Virgil briefly. His brother scoffed lightly and turned away, beginning to head inside. Janus wasn't sure why, but he felt a pinch of disappointment.
Slipping back into his car, he watched as Remus headed inside as well. He sighed, beginning to drive home.
It wasn't but fifteen minutes in did his bladder reminds him of the fact he hasn't used the bathroom in a few hours. He shifted, deciding a quick stop wouldn't hurt. He's not wearing any protection, of course, he hasn't worn pull-ups during the day recently because of Remus' visit.
As he drove, he grew frustrated as only grass could be found. To make matters worst, he found himself stuck in traffic.
Beads of sweat gathered at his forehead and he pressed his hand in between his legs, rocking lightly. He squeezed his eyes shut briefly, sucking in a sharp breath. He should have used the bathroom before he left, he doesn't even remember when he lasted used, he assumes he did when he first woke up, but that was almost six hours ago.
He crossed his legs, gritting his teeth together in annoyance. His stupid bladder always ruins everything.
Ring!
Janus jumped, his eyes widening, a soft gasp leaving him as his bladder jostled and gave in. He could barely blink as urine flooded his jeans, soaking them and the seat completely. Janus froze, slowly removing his hands, his mouth agape, staring at the dark stain in disbelief.
"Did I just..." Janus whimpers softly, face scrunching up lightly before he slammed his hands into the starting wheel.
"Shit!"
His phone began ringing again, but Janus ignored it, sniffling to himself as he was forced to sit in cold, uncomfortable jeans the rest of the way home.
The ride felt longer than it actually was, and when he arrived home, Janus almost wanted to back the car up and drive far away. Logan calmly walked out of the house as he saw the car pull in, though, he was not even close to feeling calm. When Janus hadn't picked up, it worried him profusely, he had told him specifically to call him on the way back, so he is not a happy camper.
Janus didn't step out of the car until Logan was standing by the door. Sniffling, he pushed open the car door and hesitantly stepped out, his cheeks turning red in shame and embarrassment.
Logan opened his mouth to speak-which was likely to scold him-but when he saw his stained pants he didn't have the heart. His expression softened and he sighed, shaking his head. "Let's get you a warm bath."
Janus felt a tear run down his face but he quickly swiped it away, a sob beginning to build up. Logan gently pulled him into a hug, kissing the side of his head. "It's okay."
"I'm sorry," He whimpers, burying his face into his shoulder.
"Shh," He cooed. "It's okay, it was just an accident. Do you want a bubble bath, Jay? With some lavender to help calm you down?"
Janus sniffles again, nodding against his shoulder.
With a nod, Logan leads Janus inside to get him cleaned up and comforted, the car could wait.
