"Janus, it's only for a couple of days, " Logan insists as he continues packing his suitcase required for a business trip of his.
"But Logan," Complains Janus.
"Yes?" Logan asks, glancing at him with a raised eyebrow.
Janus crosses his arms, glancing down. "I don't want you to go."
Logan softens, letting out a soft sigh, tugging Janus into a hug. Janus buries his pink face into his shoulder, clenching at his shirt. "It's only for a few days, why don't you see if Remus can stay over to keep you company?" He suggests, stroking his hair.
"That means seeing Virgil..."
"Janus, he can't hate you forever," Logan points out, barely making out his muffled voice from his shoulder.
Yes, he can, I deserve it though.
"I'll talk to Remus," Janus mumbles, nuzzling at his neck. "When do you have to leave?"
Logan peeked at the clock and patted his back. "A few hours, would you like to accompany me on the bed-"
Janus snorts, cutting off the sentence. He receives a small swat to his bottom, causing him to jump and pout. "Hey," He whines, wiggling in his hold.
Logan shoots him a flustered but pointed look. "As I was saying, would you like to accompany me in bed to relax and watch a movie? Possibly, there will be some popcorn as well."
Janus brightens and smiles, nodding his head. He always finds it funny when Logan grows flustered over any talk of sex-related activities. Their sex life is usually on special occasions, especially now with Janus' age regression. Besides, they don't need sex to make each other happy, they can do that all on their own, though, now and then it surely doesn't hurt, well, not Logan anyway.
"Popcorn!"
"Ah, ah, I said maybe," Logan reminds, continuing to pack. "Pick out a movie and we'll see." However, there was a small chance that Logan would deny Janus the treat, especially since he's leaving for a few days.
"Whatever you say, daddy,"
It was a teasing tone that had Logan's cheeks tinting red. He sent Janus a small glare, though, the devious little snake, with his pink cheeks, gave a haughty smile. "Well now you get no popcorn," Logan insists in a scolding tone, turning away from Janus. His grin fell and he pouted, immediately rushing towards Logan to grip his sleeve, lightly tugging on it as he began to whine.
"Logan," He complains. "I was kidding, please, I want popcorn!" He insists, pouting up at the man as he grumbled, obviously flustered as he continued neatly folding his desired outfits and fitting them perfectly into the rectangular suitcase.
"The only thing you can have is soap for being cheeky," Logan grumbles, however, it was an empty threat. He isn't angry or anything, merely embarrassed for being teased. Janus, who desperately wanted the salty snack, slumped his shoulders and moved close, gripping at his shirt, pushing his nose against his shoulder blade.
"Logan," He groans.
"Shoo," Logan huffs, playfully pushing him away. "Go pick a movie and I'll serve your soap, you want extra salt?'
"I think you're salty enough," Grumbles Janus.
"I heard that," Logan warns playfully, moving to check his drawers for anything else he could have missed.
"You were supposed to!"
"Janus, stop being fractious,"
"I'm not a fraction."
Logan slaps his forehead and shakes his head. "Go pick a movie,"
"Fine, but I'm doing it because I want to, not because you told me to," Janus insists, stepping out of the room to grab a movie off the shelf.
Logan only rolls his eyes, Janus should save the dramatic antics for Roman, he's far better at it.
---
"No."
"Janus, my flight leaves in half an hour, I must be on my way," Logan insists, attempting to pry off his precious little snake.
"No," Janus grumbles.
"Janus, I have to, call Remus, he'll keep you company," Logan insists. "Just please don't destroy the house,"
Janus sighs and reluctantly pulls away, frowning at his feet. Logan pats his head in an attempt to comfort him before pressing his lips to his head. "I love you, Janus, behave."
"I love you too," He mumbles a bit sadly, pouting at the ground.
Logan gives one last sigh before lifting his suitcase into the car and climbing in. Janus glances up, offering a wave of farewell and Logan returns. Soon, Janus is just staring at the Navy Blue SUV as he drives off.
After his car was out of sight, he drags himself into the house that already felt lonely and plopped down on their couch, sighing sadly. He didn't want Logan to leave. He feels clingy, but most days he waits all day for him to get home anyway, now he has to wait forever to see him again.
Deciding to take Logan's advice on calling Remus, he grabbed his phone, clicking at his contact as he leaned back against the cushions.
After a few rings, the sound of his chaotic friend was clear as day.
"JANNY~"
Janus yelped, scowling as he dropped his phone on the couch. He does that every time! He forcefully picked it up and pressed it to his ears again.
"Thank you for blowing out my eardrum," Janus says sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
"You're welcome," Remus says with a giggle. "Anyway, whatcha want?"
"Logan is on a business trip, do you think you could come down and spend a few days here?"
Remus snorts. "Aw is Janny wonely without his daddy?" He teases.
Janus flushes, an embarrassed growl cutting through the air. "Shut it!"
Remus cackles. "Aw well, I suppose I'll babysit, you're gonna have to come to get me though,"
"What happened to your car? I thought it was towed there?"
"Brakes quit working and I didn't feel like getting them fixed so I just left it," Remus says simply. "But guess what? I'm a bartender! Free drinks my guy!"
Janus swallows, shifting uncomfortably. Of course, Remus is a bartender, of course. "That's great," He says, forcing enthusiasm into his tone. "How's Virgil?" He asks, deciding to change the subject.
"Oh, Batman? Same as always. Sarcastic, emo, but damn Janus I don't remember your brother being this hot!"
Janus wrinkled his nose in disgust. "Oh, Remus please don't-"
"I mean he is pale as fuck but God Janus when he wears those platforms I swear I just want him to step on me," Remus says dreamily into the phone and Janus physically gags.
"Remus, you're going to make me puke."
"Whoops, anyway, you'll have to come to get me, I'm not sure Virgil would be willing."
Janus nods and lightly scuffs his foot against the ground. "Yeah, that's true, I'll be there tonight?"
"Sounds cool Double Dee, see you tonight! Don't forget the chains-"
Janus hung up.
