Morning

Vade wakes up with a bit of nervousness. Of all the days, he felt a bit of a pit in the stomach. It was a nervous pit that he knew would be quite a pain if he left ignored if not acted upon. This was the first time he initated a hang out with Alexis Kaufman, better known as Alexa Bliss, the Goddess of WWE. 

He did some research on good places in the city of Houston and knew where to go and take Alexa on their day off. As he stretched after getting up, he saw a text message on his phone from Alexa

Alexis: Morning Vade 😉 I finished washing up. Where to for our hangout?

Vade smiled a bit to himself as he texted her where to go and that he will meet up with her at the lobby.

Timeskip to 1 hour after
Lobby
Vade was all clean and wearing casual clothes as he waited for his hangout buddy to arrive. While he waited, he combatted all the thoughts in his head as he knew what he wanted and hopefully what she wanted. He had seen her through all the pain caused by the sham of a recent relationship she had with the parasitic singer. She had seen his initial cover and shroud of as a pessimistic outcast. He made her believe in hope and in turn she has done the same for him.

Whilst the internal combat, Vade saw his hangout buddy ready for their day out.

Alexa: Missed me? *giggles*

Vade: Why would I? *playful*

Alexa: Oooh you're learning *smiles*

As she said this, she does her signature pose

Vade: Always this cheery to start the day?

Alexa: Not really, know any coffee places here?

Vade: I got you. Let's head to Siphon Coffee. I heard they have a signature coffee that we won't get anywhere else.

Alexa: You had me at coffee so let's go!

Timeskip to Siphon Coffee
Both of them arrived at Siphon Coffee after hearing that it is famous for the siphon made coffee. This piqued the interest of one Alexa Bliss and Vade knew it was the right guess as they ordered their brunch along with a cup of the siphon slow brew coffee.

Both were seated as they waited to be served. Alexa smirks at Vade as she then asks

Alexa: Hey, is this because you know I bring a cup of coffee before the show? *giggles*

Vade: Maybe? *chuckles* 

Alexa: I just want to ask, are you a coffee drinker?

Vade: Not until today

Alexa: *eyes widen* You will love it. Trust me *smiles*

Their order of Siphon Slow brew coffee with Vegan Huevos Rancheros because the default choice was pork chorizo, and with Alexa owning Larry Steve, Vade opted to switch to the vegan option. Vade let Alexa try the coffee and she found it to her liking as she perked up and smiled.

Alexa: It's quite unique but I like it. I really like it! *points to Vade's cup* Pat, drink it before it gets cold. Come on now!

Vade had a sip and he loved it 

Vade: Mmmmhh *takes a quick sip*

Alexa: Awww I bet someone got an energy boost. Eh, Mr. Frowny? *giggles*

Vade: I don't frown as much Lexi *chuckles*

Alexa: And I helped *smiles* let's eat now

Both Vade and Alexa ate their orders and savored the Siphon slow brew coffee, as well as each other's presence before finishing up and walk around the City of Houston until lunch time.

Timeskip to Lunch at Paulie's Restaurant
Vade and Alexa after walking around went to Paulie's Restaurant for a more substantial meal for lunch. Vade ordered pizzas for them along with 2 glasses of wine. While they waited, Alexa asked a bit about Vade.

Alexa: I noticed we've been going to places with food I eat. I mean, we can always go to places where Filipino food is served.

Vade: We can save that for next time Lexi. I mean, I just want to try out what they have here in Houston.

Alexa: *raises her eyebrow strangely* okay... So, I'm really curious, why hangout with just me? I mean usually Nikki joins along.

Vade: Well, she mentioned she needed to tend to some errands plus Damian (Killian) is gonna be around here

Alexa: Ah, they sure are lucky to have found one another.

Vade: Yeah.....

Alexa notices Vade's tone change and it felt unsettling for her.

Alexa: Are you okay Pat?

Vade: Wait what? *shocked* Sorry what was that Lexi?

Alexa: I said Nicola and Damian sure are lucky to have found one another.

Vade: Ohh... well yeah. They sure are lucky to have found each other. 

Alexa sighed but smiled as Vade noticed this. He was about to say something but the waiter had arrived with their order of 2 glasses of Schiava Red wine, Alessa (Fresh Mozzarella with tomatoes and pesto) and Rocco (Spinach with roasted garlic, tomatoes and feta) Pizzas. 

Alexa's mood changed to slightly amused when she saw the food as they both began to dig in and enjoy a meal of pizza and wine. Both of them paid after a satisfying meal as they went to their next destination.

Timeskip to Early Afternoon
Bayou Bend Collections and Gardens
Vade and Alexa next went to the Bayou Bend Collections and Gardens as their stop after such a substantial meal. Vade looked up and knew there were gardens with statues of goddesses so he guided Alexa with the help of the staff to some of the gardens with the beautiful flowers and statues.

As Vade and Alexa went to one of the statues, Alexa was at awe at the sight. Lively flowers with a statue of a Goddess in sight. She was so enticed by it that Vade was blbushing. Alexa stole a galnce and saw this and then an idea popped in her head.

Alexa: Pat, I think we need to add another attraction for the cameras. Mind following me? *smiles*

Vade follows suit and Alexa strikes a pose by another rose bush as Vade captures the photo using Alexa's camera. Alexa was having a field day posing about while Vade takes the shots willingly. 

After some pictures were taken, Alexa smiled and hugged Vade out of gratitude.

Alexa: You know, I was a model before I startied wrestling. 

Vade: Can't say I'm not surprised given how you look and...

Alexa: Hey, such a charmer now *giggles* But where to now? 

Vade: Well, I got one more place.

Vade: And after seeing a Goddess among roses, I hope to see a Goddess among the night sky...

Timeskip to early evening
JP Morgan Chase Tower Observation Deck
After enduring the fast elevator to the observation deck, Alexa grabbed Vade's wrist as they went to the windows to marvel at the view of the night skyline along with the City of Houston. 

As Alexa and Vade were beside one another and staring at the night sky, thoughts began to flood in their minds. But as they were deep in their thoughts, they saw a wishing star up in the sky. Alexa then said

Alexa: Let's make a wish Pat

Vade: Alright

Alexa and Vade stared at the sky, but little did Alexa know, Vade was coming closer by a few steps. Alexa asked Vade

Alexa: What did you wish for?

Vade: Ladies first, Lexi

Alexa: *giggles* Oh, I just hope we stay happy and recovering to see the light after what life has dealt us with. I mean, we've been through a lot of things from then until now. 

Vade: So even a Goddess like yourself still wishes? *chuckles*

Alexa: *playful laugh* funny one. But tell me!

Vade: Why wish it, when it's already fulfilled

Alexa didn't know what Vade meant until she realized that Vade's hand was holding hers as they see the shooting star at the sky. Alexa faces Vade, who was smiling.

Alexa: *blushes* Vade....Pat.... what are you....?

Vade: Alexis, I have seen the light in the darkness. You are that light. You told me to be more human and here we are. I know you needed time but I want to let you know, as you were there for me, I was there for you. After the horrible months but I only saw the last ones when Ryan tried to keep you under him, that you had wanted to be free. I hope in your freedom, you were able to become whole.

Alexa: Aww Pat...

Vade: Lexi, why I said my wish was fulfilled and that shooting star is a sign is because, I wish... that you and I become together. Boyfriend...and girlfriend.

Alexa was surprised as she now faced Vade, who was smiling as wide as he has ever smiled. Alexa knew that her time alone is enough and that she was able to be brought back to Bliss, not just on her own but by the help of one such Drifter. 

Alexa: Pat... You're smiling. But this will be hard... I may keep bringing up Ryan...or Matthew (Buddy/Murphy)...

Vade: Hey, let's forge a new path together, my Goddess. So I await for the response of the Goddess Alexis Kaufman, is that a yes...?

Alexa melted but she slightly turned away. Vade was feeling a bit hurt, but Alexa turned but didn't let go of Vade's hand. She jumped into his arms and gave him a long kiss on the lips. Vade was gently rubbing her lower back as he kissed back. The two kissed until they broke for air. 

Alexa: Is that answer enough for you, my Drifter? *smiles and blushes*

Vade: It's a yes alright!

Alexa was glad when she saw Vade celebrate and pump his fist in the air. 

Alexa: Finally, I knew he wanted to be part of my life. I will give him a chance and he may be the one after all

Vade was celebratory and luckily it was just them in the Observation Deck. 

Vade: I shot my shot and here we are. This is no dream....

Vade and Alexa hugged as Alexa wanted to take a picture of herself and Vade with the Houston night skyline at the deck window. Alexa tried but was pouting as her arm is not long enough.

Vade: Milady, allow me.

Vade used his slightly longer arm to get himself and Alexa in the shot with the skyline as they took a couple selfie. One shot of them facing the camera, another of them kissing each other on the lips. 

Alexa smiled at the pictures and she told Vade.

Alexa: Pat Tolentino, I, Alexis Kaufman say yes. You are now my boyfriend *tearfully smiles*

Vade hugs Alexa as the two enjoy the time at the Observation Deck no longer as just two friends, but as boyfriend and girlfriend.
