"Well then," Min Pyo chuckled carelessly, squeezing Jimin's shoulder, "let's get you a bike, shall we?"

With that, the group casually started to stroll to the opposite end of the boardwalk. While the sun was very close to setting completely, the sky was still painted a delicate pastel pink, and the remaining rays of radiant light reflected off of the neon wheels perfectly. The two in front of him - who had firm grips on their bikes as they wheeled them along  - engaged in small talk, however Jimin's thoughts were elsewhere.

He was mesmerised. Both the beauty of the beach at dusk, and the mint-haired boy whom he walked behind had him in a trance. In this light, he had noticed that Yoongi looked particularly handsome; he had slightly swept his hair from his face to reveal a pair of gorgeous eyes, and his small, perky nose was undoubtedly cute when it was complimented by the fading sunlight.

Soon enough, after passing what seemed like an eternity of quirky stalls, the small shack which the bikes were being hired from came into view. Despite being hard to miss with a loud, flashy sign that practically illuminated the entire boardwalk, it was much smaller than Jimin expected. Only one man stood behind the counter, (it looked like only he could fit there), and with a few empty hooks along the wall behind him, there didn't seem to be any bikes.

"Hey, would you happen to have another bike, please?" Yoongi questioned, reaching for his wallet.

While Jimin was incredibly flattered, he quickly interjected.

"No, I'll pay. He stated confidently, shaking Yoongi's hand away along with the feeling of his cheeks burning. Min Pyo shot Yoongi a suggestive smirk, but Jimin took no notice.

"Sorry, they're all gone for the moment. You could wait for one to return, but you'd probably be waiting for a while, I'm afraid." The man replied, looking apologetic as he pointed over to a couple who had seemingly just hopped onto their bikes.

He stopped to ponder for a moment before speaking again.

"Two of you could share one though, if you'd like." He reasoned, looking as though he had just recalled something.

"They can fit two people?" Min Pyo asked, glacing down at his bike doubtfully.

"Yeah, but it's quite a squeeze, so most people usually prefer-" The man began to respond, but was very quickly interrupted by an overly excited voice.

"Um no worries! I-I'll just share with Yoongi, then!" Jimin cried. This was just the right sign to tell him to make a move, he thought.

"Wait, Yoongi do you mind sharing?" Min Pyo tapped him intently.

"I guess not. I don't care," He shrugged, looking completely unfazed, "but, you could ride with Min Pyo, Jimin. He's probably faster-"

"No, it's okay! Besides, I don't want to be any trouble seeing as we've only just met. I only really wanted to ride for the cool lights and stuff!" Jimin rambled, slightly resembling a giddy child.

"Wow, you're a dork." Yoongi whispered beneath his breath, not being able to control his smile.

"I guess that's settled then. Sorry to bother you!" Min Pyo politely waved he man goodbye, turning back to face the path they had just followed.

"Right! Shall we get going?" He smiled, enthusiastically stepping onto his bike and rather abruptly riding away. Before long and with a vigorous amount of pedalling, he was merely a dot in the distance.

Yoongi glanced backward, noticing Jimin in an awkward stance.

"Hop on then, Jimin." He tried to grin reassuringly, but must have given the opposite impression, as Jimin still seemed nervous as he sat himself down behind him.

"Hold on to me then, dummy!" Yoongi laughed, clutching the handles in preparation.

"Duh, I was just about to!" Jimin snapped, releasing a muffled giggle.

As Jimin wrapped his arms carefully around Yoongi's waist, he felt his hands tingle at the touch. For a moment he thought this must have been because they were cold, but with the sea breeze barely hitting them, he quickly realised otherwise.

Attempting to distract himself, he thought carefully over how he was going to initiate conversation. Not wanting to scare Yoongi away, Jimin was reluctant to be overly invasive too quickly, and so spent a few minutes of silence selecting just the right thing to say - something bound to hold Yoongi's interest.

"So, um, Yoongi-hyung...where are you from, exactly? I noticed your accent." He asked curiously.

"Daegu. My grandparents live here though so I used to come here all the time when I was younger." A slightly out of breath Yoongi replied. He slowly heaved the bike forward with each strained pedal.

"Oh. That's pretty cool, what's it like in Daegu?" Jimin questioned, with genuine interest in his response. He had lived in Busan his entire life, and barely ventured anywhere else.

"It's alright, nothing special." Yoongi spoke, sounding deep in thought.

"What about you then? You like living here?" He unexpectedly asked, taking Jimin by surprise.

"I do actually - especially in the summer. The company is okay too, I guess." He brightly responded, smiling at the thought of a flustered Taehyung bowing toward Hoseok's parents.

"You and Taehyung are best friends right? Hoseok talks about him all the time." Jimin couldn't tell, but it felt a lot like Yoongi had rolled his eyes at this remark, even if he had chuckled slightly.

"Yeah, they're pretty smitten." He scoffed.

"I could see that." Yoongi sarcastically replied, playfully elbowing backward.

"What about you, hyung? Got a girlfriend back home?" Jimin asked without thinking.

After a moment of silence, he instantly felt an overwhelming sense of regret. Internally hitting a palm to his head, he realised how personal of a question this was. He winced as he recalled his previous promise to himself not to be so forward.

"Haha, my parents would like to think so, but no." Yoongi suddenly replied. Jimin was taken aback.

"Oh I see." He sighed nonchalantly, trying his hardest to sound collected.

"This is so tiring. How is Min Pyo so far ahead?" Yoongi yawned, sounding rather breathless.

"Sorry. I guess I shouldn't be talking while you're pedalling!" Jimin urged.

"No, it's fine." He sighed, attempting to pedal with more haste.

For the first time in the fifteen or so minutes, Jimin recalled his surroundings. Now, only the tiniest amount of vibrant orange sun was visible through the miles of sparkling sea, and the sky had transformed into a beautiful cloudy lilac.

"Wow, the sky is so pretty this time of night, huh?" He was so enthralled that he barely noticed he had spoken.

"It is." Yoongi stared up in unison with the boy behind him, his eyes widening at the sight of the enigmatic landscape.

The rest of the journey across the boardwalk was in another spell of silence, yet this time, it felt entirely comfortable. So much so, infact, that Jimin felt his grasp on Yoongi's waist relaxing, almost as if he were leaning into it. He was at first hesitant to make some sort of move as he had told himself to before, but as the minutes passed his head subconsciously settled into the crook of Yoongi's neck, as if it were the missing piece to a puzzle. Yoongi barely even flinched at his touch, and it even felt to Jimin that the stiffness in his shoulders had loosened naturally as he had curled into him. Jimin could easily have fallen asleep, but was soon awoken by the sound of an exhilarated gasp.

"Guys! There you are. I thought I'd lost you! We'd better return these before the stall closes." Min Pyo ran toward them, looking slightly confused toward their state.

The flustered pair immediately jumped off from the bike, not daring to make eye contact with one another.

"I'm really sorry I'd love to help, but I should get going. It was nice meeting you! I'll see you tomorrow probably, Yoongi-hyung?" Jimin quickly stuttered, lifting his head in embarrassment and stepping awkwardly away from the bike. He felt his cheeks burn once again.

"Yeah. See you." Yoongi waved, his gaze transfixed to the boy who practically sprinted in the other direction.

"Dude! Why didn't you tell me you liked him?" Min Pyo swooned, ruffling Yoongi's hair with delight.

"What? No I don't!"
