Why Can't Singetails Escape Deathsong Amber? (RTTE)

Well met, my fellow Furians! Today, I'd like to touch something that's been bothering me of late... (one of many)

Today, we'll be touching on Singetails. (Though I wouldn't recommend it unless you'd like to get singed.)

So, in... "Sandbusted", I think, we see Krogan using a Deathsong to lure and trap dragons in its amber blasts. This Singetail was one of many.

And then we see the Gang use Nightmare gel to free the Singetails from their amber casings on "Singetail Island" (fanon name) in "Family Matters".

And one thing stuck out to me: this is a Stoker Class dragon. Why aren't Stoker Class dragons able to escape the amber coating if it can be destroyed through heat/flame?

Now, I know that Fireworms are probably exempt from this since their skin "burns with the heat of a thousand suns," but the other dragons use flame, too. Nightmares can turn their whole body into a flaming torch at command. And with the Singetails, they themselves have a unique ability... aside from shooting fireballs of injustice from their tails, that is.

Singetails can direct flame through its underbelly. While Nightmares can justify not getting out of amber because it blocks the ignition of the gel, Singetails don't really have that drawback. And since it's likely that the amber would prevent it from using its tail or mouth to shoot fire, then surely it could use its belly ports?

I'm just struggling to figure out how the Singetails aren't able to use that to free themselves. But for some reason they can't?

Now, I will say that I'm no dragon anatomy/biology expert by no stretch of the imagination. In fact, I'd probably get a C, at best. So maybe the amber blocks the holes, preventing them from being able to direct their flames through their belly ducts?

What do you think? Any anatomy experts out there who can help solve this dilemma?

Anyway, thanks for reading this article. I hope that you enjoyed this and that the answers shall be found. I, for one, am curious.

See you in the next article.

Long Live the Night!
