THE NEXT DAY chayu had to work at his side job after school, just like every tuesday. and just like every other teen he worked part time as a waiter at a café.

no, seo chayu really didn't seem to stand out in any way from the others.

but he actually enjoyed working there, making tea and coffee, slicing cakes and seeing people leave with a smile on their face. sometimes he would even get praised by the costumers for being so friendly.

on that certain day chayu was busy slicing the chocolate tart, when a just too familiar face appeared in the door frame, ten.

although he felt like hiding himself, he served him just like any other costumer. also he was a houndered percent sure, that ten didn't even recognize him.

at least he now knew that ten liked americano and that was a good thing, right?

a few minutes later chayu took a short break and checked his phone, while taking a few sips of water. somewhere in between his notifications was also one that claimed a new post by ten and his hear immediatly sank.

well, now he knew that taeyong would be showing up here soon too, so he'd better be going back to work.

and his prediction turned out right as lee taeyong entered the café a few minutes later. chayu casually walked over to where he had sat down with ten, although he was feeling very uncomfortable.

"i would like one yogurt smoothie!" said taeyong, before chayu could even hand him the menu; he didn't seem to recognize him either, though they were seeing each other at school almost every day. but whatever...

"of course, is there anything you would like to eat?" chayu asked the long practised phrase in the rather monotone voice. "today we have a special green tea ice cream cup."

"that's nice, although i'm kinda full-" considered taeyong, but ten suddenly interrupted him. "we can share on!"

a shiver ran down chayu's spine by the sound of ten's voice. "one green tea ice cream be it then!" he smiled at them and quickly escaped to the kitchen, the menus pressed against his chest.

soon he brought them the cup of ice cream with two spoons and while serving the other costumers he couldn't help but sneak glanzes at the two boys. they really looked good together.

it was a cute sight, still chayu felt torn. it was nice to see ten being so happy, then again he wished he could be in taeyong's place- but he immediatly shook that thought off. 

besides that he couldn't remember ever being so close with someone, like even sharing their food. of course he had friends somehow, but they were never of that level.

seo chayu had to admit that he was jealous and he hated himself for it.
