TEN AND TAEYONG had been friends ever since they had met in elementary school. anyone, who assumed that two people couldn't be closer friends than them, was actually right. when it was time to choose a high school, ten didn't even question whether he would go to a different school than taeyong; it was unimaginable for both of them.
the two of them were actually well know throughout the school, but they didn't mind it too much.
apparently ten had always been passionate about dancing and entering highschool offered him the chance to practice professionally. about a year later taeyong had been offered a side job as model, which resulted in them both being very well known at school.
the only part they were missing was living close to each other, but they could get to each other's houses in 15 minutes by bike or 25 minutes walk, so it was okay.
there was nothing that they didn't share: food, favourite songs and movies, clothing... if you checked out their instagram accounts, you could find that they tagged each other in all their pictures and also took a lot of pictures together.
until then they were inseperable, no matter how hard some people had tried to break them apart; some of them even claimed that ten just hung around taeyong, because he wanted latter's fame. of course this wasn't true, especially since ten had been already well known before taeyong became a model.
no one would've expected that anything could ever happen to them, they seemed invincible; stronger than any other friendship. but apparently they weren't, just like everyone else.
there didn't appear to be any problem, also it wasn't like they began to have more and more small arguments over the time. they just crashed together one day like a tusnami on the coast and exploded like a million terrible fireworks.
everything had been in place until they hung out at the park last saturday, not something unusual; still ten's whole world shattered into pieces. if taeyong could leave this easily, it made ten feel as if their friendship had never even meant anything to the other. but to ten it meant everything. how was he even supposed to live without taeyong?
so ten was lying on his bed trying to cry himself to sleep, while all he could do was stay awake and repeat taeyong's words all over in his head.
"no, fuck you ten! will you ever stop being so childish?" and the worst was, that it started because of an argument that didn't seem all so important to ten, but to taeyong.
it's your own fault, ten. so don't cry, you don't deserve those tears anyway. he told himself, but it only made it worse.
with trembling hand he reached out for his phone and dialed taeyong's number; he truly wanted to apologize, when on the end of the line only an artificial voice answered. "we're sorry, this user has blocked your phone number."
was there anyone he could call at this time to cry his heart out to? no, neither sicheng nor kun would be awake at this time of the night and he wasn't close enough to them to wake them up.
ten felt as if he was nothing without taeyong and it took his breath away. hell, how could they end up like this so quickly?
school had started only four weeks ago, he'd have to see taeyong at school every single day.
