(Written for The_Weekend_Write-In weekly prompt, "Special." Only a drabble this time, around 100 words)

I've been racking my brain to come up with a short for this prompt. Something special for "special," right? I darted from special occasions, those significant birthdays, to the daily specials at our local shop. Nothing really seemed to get the cogs whirring in the old brain... and then yesterday, someone sent me a photo.

Friends were over at their shack for the weekend and spotted this little chap (or chapette) roaming around our garden, next door. It's a small town, mostly holiday homes, but even so, the wombat would have had to cross a few roads.

Now that, is special!
