(Author's Note - a drabble written for The_Weekend_Write-In prompt for the week, Loud.)

When I read this prompt, the first thing that popped into my head was a song called "Let's Get Loud" sung by Jennifer Lopez, and that led me down the music path for this story. Afterall, few peacetime things can sound as loud as a live concert, right?

These days I enjoy sitting under the trees sipping my cider and listening to World Music from around the planet, but back in the day, I went to hear Joe Cocker and the Chris Stainton Band, with a support act called Patto, performing in an indoor stadium.

Now that was loud! Unforgettable.
