Pranitha's POV

Karthik came to our dorm at around 7, and since classes start on Monday, we decided to spend all today, which is a Friday by the way, watching our favorite Telugu movies. And let me tell you.

It was AWESOME!!!

Zaara, being that type person, kept suggesting rom coms, while I, on the other hand, fought for movies with action. I feel so bad for Karthik because he had to listen to us fighting over movies.

Finally, we decided on some movies and an order in which to watch them. Karthik had ordered pizza in the middle of our fight, so yay.

We started to watch movies at 10, and let me tell you, it went till 1 at night. And that too, because my phone rang. I pick up my phone and look at the screen.

"It's Karthik." I announce. Karthik looks at me, confused.

"What the heck? I am not calling you. I have my phone right here." He says, showing me his phone. I giggle.

"I know stupid. But sorry to burst your bubble but like you are not the only Karthik in this world you know."

"Oh. So you know another Karthik then?" He asks. I nod as I take the call.

K- Hey how are you.

P- good. Why did you call now. If everything ok?

K- yes. What are you doing?

P- Im watching movies with two of my friends.

K- oh ok. Can i vid call.

P-  Yea sure.

And we video call.

"Karthik, Karthik." I say as I point from my phone to the one next to me and vice versa.

"Hey." The one next to me says.

"Hi." The one on the phone says back.

"Shre, what are you doing?" I ask the one on my phone.

"Shre?" The one next to me asks.

"His middle name is Ram-Shreyas so I call him Ram sometimes and Shre sometimes." I explain.

"Oh ok. So its easier to know who you are calling now." He chuckles. I laugh and so does Zaara.

"Oh, hey Zaara!" Ram exclaims. They had talked before because he called once when I was at her house and they talked because I forced her too. Well, whatever.

"Hey Shrey." She says, grabbing my phone from my hand. I let out a small laugh but let her take it.

We talk to Sheyas for some time, and soon, Zaara, Karthik, and I are falling asleep. Karthik gets up and leaves to go to his dorm, saying that both his roommates were coming in tomorrow. Yea, he has to share his room with two strangers. Good luck him!! Apparently, one is named Karthikeya, and the other, Sanjay.

Karthik's POV

I wake up to noise in my dorm. I open my eyes and see two boys unpacking.

"Oh! Your awake!" One of them says. "I am Karthikeya. I take it your Karthik?" He says. I just nod.

"Wait, weren't you the one on the phone with Pranitha last night?" I ask him. He nods. "And you must be San-" I start when I realize who he was.

"You are Vijay's son right?" I say shocked. He smiles and nods.

"Dude, Pranu loves your dad." I say.

"Who's that?" He asks.

"I'll call her and see if she is up?" I say. He nods.

"K."

I text her instead, and ask her if I can come over with my roommates. And her reply is a yes.

Man, she's gonna freak. In a good way. Hopefully.
