Pranitha's POV

Two weeks later

Walking into my dorm at 5 after a very long day, I find it empty. Throwing my bag onto my bed, I grab a pair of jeggings and a Hollister t-shirt. Walking into the bathroom, I take a 10 minute shower.

I fall back onto my bed and deciding to listen to my favorite Tamil song, En Jeevan(Song above.)

Putting it on loop, I close my eyes and sing the lyrics along with the song. In the middle, I hear the door open. Probably Zaara. She walks in, and I hear the door closing. Without opening my eyes or stopping the song, I wave to her. She knows that whenever I listen to this song, I don't want to be disturbed. That's how great our friendship is. 

While singing, I hear another voice singing all the male parts with me.

Probably Sanjay. I think.

After the song finishes, I pause it and open my eyes.

"Hey Zaara." I say, looking to my left, where my best friend was. She just waves a high, as she had her mouth full of water. Turning to the other side, I get a mini heart attack.

In an instant, I sit up straight.

"Pranu, this is my dad." Jay says.

I gulp, unable to form words.

"Hi. Nice to meet you. I'm Vijay, Sanjay's dad. I heard all about you from Sanjay." Vijay, Sanjay's dad says.

"And, I'm Samantha." the woman next to Vijay sir says.

I stare at both of the famous actors. I know who they are. I'm just shocked that they are standing in my dorm. Finally getting out of the shock, I stand up.

"Uh-um- I uh-um-hey." I stutter.

The two actors laugh a little.

"No need to be nervous. We are humans too. We don't bite." Samantha mam says nicely. I laugh nervously.

"Um. Please. Sit down." I say, pulling two chairs up. After they get seated, they tell me to have a seat. I sit on my bed, still nervous around my two favorite actors.

"Um, fanta?" I ask, somehow managing to remember my manners.

"Yea. Sure." Samantha mam replies. Getting up, I grab two fanta cans and give one to both actors.

"Jay, want one?" I ask.

"Meh." Sanjay replies.

Rolling my eyes, I grab another can of fanta and hand it to him. Sitting back down on my bed, I face Vijay sir and Samantha mam.

"So, Pranitha. We are working on a new movie." Samantha mam starts. I nod, not saying anything. I mean, I am still confused as to why the most loved hero and heroine of Tollywood and Kollywood are in my dorm room, sitting in front of me.

"And we need a young woman to play the role of my sister." Vijay sir adds.

"Oh." is my amazingly epic answer.

"And we want to you play that role." Vijay sir continues. I stare at him, shocked.

"Me?"

"Yea. Your acting skills are amazing." he praises.

"Oh my goodness. Thank you so much sir." I say, blushing a little. "But, sir, you have never seen me acting right. How do you know?" I ask as politely as possible.

He turns around to look at Sanjay who is now leaning on the wall. "You didn't tell her!" he asks, a little surprised.

Sanjay smiles sheepishly. "Um. No." He says quietly.

"Wait, tell me what?" I ask Jay, glaring at him.

"I um. You know that day when Saash and I were on the phone when you were helping Vai?" he asks. I nod and he continues. "Well, we were talking to our parents on a vid call. And um, they heard you and dad wanted to see you so I might have kinda turned the camera so it was pointing towards you." he finishes, looking down.

Glaring at him, I stand up, forgetting that his dad and Samantha were in my room. Slowly, I walk towards him. He smiles a little, apologizing, but I keep advancing like a cheetah does its prey.

"You!" I say. In one motion, I lightly hit the bottom of the soda can in his hand, making the contents spill onto his clothes, and step back so that my clothes stay clean. He squeals like a little girl, and I stand back, admiring my work and grinning from ear to ear.

Suddenly, Sanjay grabs me and wraps his arms around me, creating a cage that I can't escape from.

"Say sorry." he growls playfully.

"Nah." I say.

"Pranu." he says in a warning tone.

"Jayyy." I mock him. I move around, trying to get out of his iron grip, but he doesn't let me go.

"Jay let me go." I say.

"Not unless you apologize."

"Pleeeeeeeease." I plead.

"Nope. repeat after me. Sanjay."

"Sanjay."

"I'm sorry."

"yea, its ok. Now let me go." I say.

"Pranu! Sanjay I'm sorry."

"Jay! I told you, its ok." I say, annoying the hell out of him. He starts tickling me, making me thrash around, giggles spewing from my mouth.

"Woah..." Samantha mam says. When I hear her speak, I remember that Vijay sir and Samantha mam are in my room right now. Sanjay stops too, after realizing what was happening. He releases me, and I slowly turn around, my face red with embarrassment.

"I should do that to Chay whenever he manages to annoy me." Samantha mam says. I laugh a little. Slowly walking back to my bed, I sit down.

"Sorry." I say. "Um, you were saying?"

"Yea, so we want you to start your acting career." Vijay sir says.

I look down, my thoughts mixed up.

Mom and dad won't let me. I think.

"We talked to your parents."

I look up in shock.

"What did they say?" I ask, scared to hear the answer.

"They said..."
