i had a dream last night, we were out running through the streets basking in the light while all were asleep, you told me things you'd never say any other time, you took me by the hand and whispered in my ears, i was so excited i could barley hear you but when i asked you what you said you disappeared into headlights, when i awoke i tried to hold you, you weren't there
late late last night i thought how sweet how it would be to have you in my arms but alas i thought so hard i could've swore i smelt your hair and saw you dancing in the corridors
i felt you frame against mine as i held on so damn tight. i felt the lose fabric of you shirt, my hands in your hair, your hands on my face i tried to kiss you but illusions only go so far. i know i need you but do need me. trace your fingers down my checks, wipe the tears away say everything is okay. i had a dream late late last night but the real shame was i never really woke up, i still think when i'm alone that you'll come trough for me.
will you hold me, tighter, would you hold me, closer. my dreams are never complete without, my world is dark without you
