Avni received a call from Arya during her lunch hour, informing her that Neil and his family will return back their home to India around pm.
And to bid him bye he wants to accompany Neil, the way to the airport.

"Now what the hell is this !!!" Avni got miffed in her head but hid it skillfully not to express such inner battle before Arya get upset.

"Ummm...Baby..." Avni tried hard coming up with something convincing to reply, but failed thinking of something as such. Therefore she had no other option but to agree.

"Okay come back home soon and take care of granny.....Mom is already missing you baby" Avni made an sad pout pressing the device to her ear.

"Mom...." He called Avni softly.

"Humh!!" She responded immediately.

"Why don't you join us.. then we will go back home together?" Avni flinched at his words, this is not going to happen.

"Umm...you know what baby" she started blinking her eyes anxiously but cut off by Arya.

"Mom please they have 7pm flight...it's not so early...you wouldn't need to take half day" his voice sounded as plea all of a sudden.

Biting her lips Avni took a deep breath and replied shutting her eyes hard then opened " I'll try"

"And I know my Mom never failed keeping her promises" Arya chuckled she heard on the other side.

"Hey I haven't promised you. okay!!" Avni warned.

"Thank you Mom..I love you" Avi heard Arya giggled hanging up the call.

"I love you too my lil monster" Avni shook her head realising she got tricked by her son. she smiled putting down her pH but that smile didn't stay on her lips longer anymore. It has disappeared leaving her face stern thinking that she has to face him again.

As expected Avni didn't want to get into any convo with me..
And it isn't something happened fortuitous or startling that I haven't assumed I would say.
The Avni I have known and I have left few years back, She is now totally different. Someone I'm seeing more confident, more responsible and much sanguine to her way.

And all these qualities of Avni Mehta attracting me more towards her in these passing days and that Neil khanna can't hesitate to accept.

Most of the guests left before the afternoon ends according to their flight timing. Dev and his family left after having their breakfast,their flight was at 12pm.
And We would also start from here few minutes before 5 in the evening , the route from here to the airport is half an hour distance. Our flight time is 7:30pm.

On the way coming down stairs for breakfast I averted my gaze to the dinning hall and there I saw almost everyone including Aryan, he was sitting beside my Mom having his breakfast. My eyes roamed around in search of Avni but I couldn't got to see her anywhere nearer. So silently I walked to the empty seat beside him and sitting on it I proceeded to have my first meal of the day.

Having some convo with Aryan for few minutes I got to know the very fact that Avni left and the food chocked inside my throat knowing that.

Couldn't she wait some more few hours!!
Atleast she could have waited for me to wake up so that we could had go for a good talk today.

"Dadda..Dadda.." my chain of thoughts broke with a winch hearing Aryan's voice calling me in whisper.

"Did you talk to Mom" He whispered pulling his face to my ears.

"Nope" I replied.
Last night flashes came in front of my eyes and my face tightened.
And Aryan slapped on his forehead in response.

"Kya hua puttar!!" Bubbly Aunty asked Aryan serving some more butter toast on my plate and immediately I saw everyone's eyes turned to his direction. ( What happened Puttar!!)

"You didn't make aalu paratha today!!" a sad pout grew on his lips.

"If your Mom would have known it, that Aryan you are asking for alu paratha" Param Uncle said from behind smiling looking at Aryan.

"Please god send a Dadda for me" he said dramatically tilting his head upward addressing the god.

"And what would he do, you are expecting by the way!!" My Mom asked amusingly supporting her elbow on the table.

"He would divert my Mom just as Tom Cruise does everytime she see his movies" and this reply made everyone burst into laughter at his innocence.

While someone tried hard not to flush his cheeks at his statement.

Don't ask me who!!

"Are you sure your Mom would fall into our plan!!" Sweta and Bebe asked Aryan sitting on the bed inside their room.

"I can't assure you but I can try" Arya replied in a complacent tone made Sweta and Bebe chuckled slightly high ruffling his brown hair.

Rolling his eyes he left their room and raked his disheavled hair falling all over his face.

And then he had called Avni in her lunch break borrowing ph from his granny Neelama.

Avni

As I promised Aryan...I mean tactfully promised by my little munchkin. I was exhausted taking part into this huge celebration since the whole process had started. My room is calling me and my cozy bed.
It won't be better idea driving almost an hour in this pick traffic time in this tiring condition of mine. So without think much further I took the option booking a driver for last six hours instead.
leaning on my car back seat I gave him the direction to my destination next.

I just stepped outside my car and immediately I saw Arya ran towards me and hugged my waist. Tilting his head he said "see I told you Neil, Mom would surely come to say you bye" and then I realised some people are standing afar near a car including my Mamma in that lil crowd. Putting the luggage inside the car Neil turned his face behind and gazed at me over his shoulder.

I took hold of Arya into my hands and walked to those people straight avoiding any eye contact with him further.

Bidding everyone good bye they all slipped inside the car capturing their respective seats but Avni frowned looking at them. There wasn't any seat left for her whereas Arya has already took the seat beside Neil in her car which she decided to leave for both of them including some of his family member to travel.

"Sorry Avni you have to acompany my son...iiii mean your son in your car behind" Sweta said sadfully through the car window sitting on the back seat, NeelaMa and Bebe next to her while her eyes conveying absolutely different expression. there was very much evident of amuse in them.

Avni helplessly kept staring at them few seconds and then tightening her jaws gaping at her Mamma she headed to her car away them.

"I knew it...I so knew it...I shouldn't have come here at the first place keeping that stupid promise of Arya and on top of that I wouldn't have agreed to go to see them off in the airport getting trapped by my son's puppy face" she muttered under her breath walking towards the car behind. God I'm so trapped_were Her livid words.

"I should have made excuses saying that I'm not feeling well, I'll go back home and take rest" she kept murmuring and moved across the car other side and took the seat beside Arya in the back passenger seat along with Neil.

As soon as she slipped inside, their gaze collided and she instantly snapped her head away being irked struggling under her heavy disgusted breaths.

"Thank you Dadda" Arya hugged Neil taking a huge chocolate Box from his hand before he took the seat next to him on the other side. And Avni flinched snapping her head back towards their direction.

"What did you just call him Arya!!" Avni creased her forehead eyeing at Arya and asked hardening her face.
Her heartbeat rising faster praying inwardly that wouldn't have actually what she heard him said.

"Neil said me to call him Dadda...haina dadda!!" Arya smiled groofily sinking in his seat and his mom's eyes grew bigger in tensed moving her eyes to and fro on both of them.

"Yyes IIi ddid" Neil stammered looking at her fumed gaze stopped now over him.

"WWhat rubish!!! Arya stop calling him that" Avni barked, glared at Arya "he is not that...ii mean your dad" she blinked her eyes nervously.

"He will" Neil declared, glare back at her turning his waist fully towards her.

"He will not...
You. are. not. his dad" she chewed her words, threw glares at him.

"Then you also the same" he said and immediately his closed his eyes shut realising some unwanted words came out of his mouth.

"Shit" he cursed under his breath and Avni snapped her head other side, her face flushed being furious.

"Ummm....look I didn't mean it...
It's just" he sighed deeply, his eyes grew apologetic.

"Huh Typical Neil khanna, ek sorry bolne mein intni takleef" she murmured through her gritted teeth keeping her face straight. ( So much pride he has, just to say a simple sorry)

"I wanted to say...but you didn't want to listen" he said almost leaving Avni jump on her seat.

"Just like you never let anyone to speak" she spat letting out a scornful scoff and looked away.

"Kuchbhi karlo sorry hamesha ladko kohi kehna padhta hai" the driver papaji interrupted and Avni get shocked darted her eyes at the driver person. What the hell! Her thoughts. ( Whatever you do, it actually doesn't matter. End of the day Boys must say always sorry first)

"Apko kisne bola beechmein bolne k liye!!" Avni couldn't help made a remark. She is growing annoyed now. ( Who has told you to interrupt!!)

Neil curved his lips in a amused smirk.

Suddenly Arya started coughing heavily. Avniel got tensed looking at his state and they started panicking.

"Baby what happened!!" She started rubbing his stomach and on his back panicking. And Neil did the same following her.

"Do you have water...get it fast" Neil rubbed Arya on his back getting nervous.

"Relax I'm okay" stopping his coughs suddenly Arya leaned relaxingly roamed his eyes on both of them and Avniel frowned looking at him.
But next second he grabbed both of their hands intertwining seperately each into him tightly, those were on his stomach.
Seeing Arya coughing so hard they had put on eachother they didn't notice when they saw Arya in breathing trouble.

"See I want both of you to be together...you both stop fighting and patch up" Arya smiled looking at both of them.

"It's not possible...ek second bhi main is aadmi ko tolerate nahi karsakti" Avni shrugged it off, gritted her teeth.
(I can't tolerate this man a single second)

"Hehe meri walibhi roz yahi kehti hai" the driver papaji chukled making Neil cleared his throat plastering a naughty smirk on his lips gazing at Avni and Avni tightened her jaws narrowing her gaze. ( Ha ha my better half also says the same everyday)

"Aap road parr dhyan dijiye" Avni chided.
(You focus ahead)

"C'mon Mom I'm not saying you to marry him...I'm just asking you to be friends" Avni heart jumped listening to her son.

"Iiii won't do that. Never " flipping her eyeslids nervously she gathered herself immediately.

"Mom you don't have to be so aggressive! Okay?" Arya creased his forehead gazing at Avni and then turned to Neil.

"And Dadda can't you make a puppy face for once!!" Crossing his arms Arya snapped, made Neil looked away and his forehead creased in annoyance as similar as Avni.

"Haan mujhey pata hai ye puppy face wala nuskey hamesha kaam aata...hai." before the driver papaji could begin to chuckle he gulped hard getting a stoney glare from Avni through the rear view.
( Yes I know this puppy face. It always work)

"Look at you how big your ego has grown" Neil snorted through his narrowed eyes.

"You look at yourself first... Bhagwan kare ki iska plane crash hojaye" she murmured, cursed leaning back against her seat and immediately cut her tongue shutting her eyes hard.
( I wish his plane would crash today)

"See now you are already feeling guilty Mom..." Arya leaned a bit towards Avni.
"Mom didn't mean it Dadda" Arya leaned back sighing.

"God I apologise.
Only for those three innocent people in his family including other passangers " Avni smiled tightly.

"Okay fine, got it" he gritted.
"God please meri family aur baaki sabki side bachake sirf meri side mein crash karwana...taaki marrnese pehle kisi ek particular soul ko shanti miley" he said glaring at her direction tightening his face so that she could understand he is saying those words only to her. And then Neil crossed the arms over his chest being irritated leaning on his seat. Listening to him Avni blinked her eyes few times frownig at him and then averted her eyes on Arya. They both didn't expect something like that could come as a reply from Neil. they looked at eachother in shock for some couple of seconds. But next moment Arya threw out
a huge ball of chuckle while Avni suppressed her laughter pressing her lips hard together staring outside the window turning her face instantly.
The entire scene made Neil confused but some seconds later he realised and his face flushed glancing at both of them. Being awkward he turned his face towards the car window biting his bottom lip to hide his blushes.

(God please saving my family and other passangers inside the flight you crash the side of mine only, so that a particular soul could get some peace before I die)

Sometimes you wonder is this fight is worth while

Yes he left. Before waving the last goodbye to Arya his eyes were on me rested for few seconds.
Unknowingly my hand went upward to say him bye but realising my stupidness I immediately pulled it down and held Arya close to me. He saw me waving at him and that made me more embarassed.

I have never seen Arya being this much affected by someone before, as he is right now with this man the akru, the snobbish Neil khanna.

God knows what magic he has done to my lil baby whithin that little spam of time during Juhi's wedding.

Have I over reacted not giving him chance to explain!!!

Have I mistaken to understand Neil this time throwing any unnecessary temper of mine on him!!

It seems he isn't the same Neil khanna I had come across years back.

When Neil took Arya in his arm before heading to the entrance gate. I saw my baby's glassy eyes. His one arm was around Neil's neck. They were talking, infact I saw only Neil was talking while Arya was just listening to him in his sad face. And then the next moment Neil said him something and in response finally my baby chuckled before Neil put him down and kissed on his cheeks and forehead.

It can't be explained in words truely, how adorable that sight was, looking Arya and Neil together.

I sighed standing beside my Mom who was busy talking to Bubbly Aunty and Param Uncle.
Yes they also have come to see off their family upto the airport.

We stood there untill they went inside the entrance and lost in the crowd, with other passangers heading to the queue.

I kept staring at his back until he disappeared.

That feeling was exactly similar like someone going far away from me forever...

Am I missing him already?

What would you feel if your lost love come back to you years later someday and say, he wants you in his life more than you wanted him ever...
