"Yeah I also think so.. it's not working anymore..let's call off this engagement.." she spoke, looked straight into his eyes...
He averted his gaze for a bit second not anywhere in particular. Then immediately brought back his eyes at her straight..

"Yup, even I feel the same..I don't think we are made for eachother. I mean I never felt so, though our family always wanted to mingle us with eachother, since we were in college but you know what!! I'm done, I can't hold this going anymore.. Please forgive me if I hurt you anyhow!!"He said in a apologetic tone then held her palm softly that she had kept on the table till now..

She looked down at their hands, that he was holding..she gently took away herself from his hold..raised her eyes looked at him with same intensity..
"you know what I have never fell for you..
Even I had never found you someone I can fall for...
I had always wanted to........she gulped down her last words" she sighed..
"Anyways forget it"..she shut her eyes, released a deep breath. A soft smile crept on her lips, she looked back at him..

"Can I ask you something!!"she tried to shrug off the awkwardness grew between them..

He furrowed..

"Relax I won't ask you anything too personal that you could hesitate to answer me..I wouldn't embarrass you.."she smiled lil wider this time..

A relief smile grew on his lips,he nodded..

"Yeah..shoot.."he replied relaxingly taking the glass of drink in his hand which the waiter has served on their table few minutes before..

She straighten her back took a seep off her soft drink glass..she kept the glass on the table and asked..

"As I know before me, you have dated many and was rejected too and all of them were from the most richest families of the town.."she rose her eyes at him by and gave a slight smirk..
"Most of them are my friends.. And theirs only aligations against you were, you are extremely conservative.. some even said you are a chauvinist, narcissist.." she widened her lips smiled unbelievably..

"You know what I just didn't believe I laughed out loud listen to them but now I could relate them, actually they are right!! You are a chauvinist!!"she looked surprised..
"Did you ever realise how badly we fought with eachother till now!!
You have issues almost with everything I does, whether it is my late nightouts or partying with my school besties obviously mostly guys..even you have huge objections with my dressings, the clothes I wear.."she gave a sarcastic smile..
"As far as I remembered you had never been a conservative kind.. moreover u were always been the bindass type..though you were always been the most annoying but the scenario is different now.." She eyed on him nodded her head gently..

"Remember when we were it college we used to party all night sometimes we had partied continuously two to three days in Ali's farmhouse all together..And the most strangest part is the things which you have enjoyed doing before you actually started having faults out in them!! isn't that weird!!" She frowned..

"Because apart from being engaged we were good friends since many years..
I never knew this You..
I'm used to with that arrogant snobish ill-tempered You!!" She knitted her brows and looked at him to notice his moves..

He was listening to her each and every words calmly till now..He rubbed his forehead with his two fingers then rose his eyes at her..he just curved his lips said nothing..

She bent a bit forward towards his face keeping a decent distance from him..
"Now tell me who is she!!
I mean the person like whom you have been searching in your fiancee to be.."

He pulled is head a bit backward and nodded..
"No one is there as such"

"Nope I won't believe..you must have met her somewhere!! because in our high class society it's just next to impossible to find a girl like as per your criteria.. whereas I have no idea this type of girls even exist!!"she mumbled the last phrase..
"but the way you are judging everygirl with that perspective I could surely say that you have definitely come across with someone of that kind..
I mean I'm sure you must have met someone who has all those qualities that you are expecting in your fiancee to be..am I right!!"
she furrowed her eyebrows and rolled her eyes all over his face trying to bring out something with his expressions..

"Yeah they exists.."he said intently with a same cold expression..

"Who!!s"he asked impatiently widened her eyes..

"The girl with all those qualities.."he responded..

"And may I know who is she!!" She asked curiously clutching the armrest of the chair she was sitting..

It was like a word slipped out of his mouth that he never intended to..Then he himself startled on his own statement..

She didn't say anything just kept staring at him keenly as she knew that this is gonna be happened someday..

Rea gave a skew smirk leaning back on her seat relaxingly..

"But as far as I remembered Neil khanna haven't missed a single chance ever to insult Miss. Avni Mehta , the day she joined the university..she had been always bullied on her back by one of her Senior fellow only the reason for her those middle class principles"
Emphasizing the word those Rea remarked smiling through her slightly curved lips. Observing his each facial moves that moulded according to her exclamations she leaned her head slightly to the right..

Neil felt uneasy by her statement under her sarcastic gaze. Although, it is the most undeniable truth of his life to some extent that he had never intended to. But it had always been kept occurring such situations in the past unknowingly by his action of utmost arrogancy and extreme egoism towards the person, only he used to ignore throught his University days..

I parked my car in the parking area outside the club, unbuckling my seatbelt I stepped outside the car and before locking it up I took off my jacket and threw it on the passenger seat. Then headed to the club entrance..

As soon as I got inside the Pub my eyes lurcked around in search of my friends, they have been seen gathered around a table close to the bar..

"Hey!!!!"kk raised his hand calling me..
I replied him raising my arm back..

I walked straight towards them pushing the crowd. Everyone already have reached there before me..

"Hey what's up buddy long time no see" kk stretched his arm towards me..

"Good!! How are you all.."I greeted to everyone there..

Within some few minutes our drinks has been served..

"Hey Neil are you planning to get married either or have decided to stay bachelor forever because the way you are breaking so many hearts it's getting quite prominent that you haven't any plan to be courted soon.."Monish said in a teasing tone in between sipping his drink..

Neil glanced at Ali and he gave him back a sheepish smile in return.

"Ummm!!the fact is not exactly you guys are thinking but yeah I have taken a break with all these mingling process.."he snorted swirling his glass on the table between his two fingers holding on it lightly..

"That's cool bro even I support you in this..stay single enjoy your life to the fullest..as these people are knotted with their worst half that's why they wants you to go through the same path that they are running through.."kk laughed out loud putting his hand on Neil's shoulder..

"Shut up kk it's not so funny!! You all are happily married.. though I'm single still but I think the time has come to be settled down now even I want to begin my own family as well now..
So last week Me and Sia has decided, we will talk to our parents once she return back from her business tour next month.."
Ali said shrugging off the blabbering kk stated..

Neil gave a tight smiled looking at Ali..

"BTW Neil Khanna will pick someone different don't forget after all he was the heartthrob of our college..girls used to drool over him.."Kk winked at Ali and everyone giggled..

"Except one" Ali smirked looking at Neil..

"I know Avni" kk said with a slight smile on his lips..

Neil's gaze stopped at Kk..he immediately gulped down the last seep off his glass and excused himself to order some more drink and starter..

"Hey Avni se yaad aya I saw her few days back in facebook while scrolling..her account showed in the People You May Know column..I guess it had been shown because of the same college.."Raj informed intently..

Neil came back in his seat..

"And you stalked her"Ali teased and hifived with kk..

"Who is stalking whom" Neil asked rolling his gaze on them..

"F**k!!" Raj showed his middle finger to Ali..

Ali shrugged it off and turned his eyes to Neil..

"Raj stalked Avni Mehta through facebook" Ali responded in attempt to tease him more.

"Shut up Ali!!
I just saw her profile and few pics that's it and what's wrong with that she was our friend, I mean college fellow.."Raj spatted and rolled his eyes skyward..

Neil sat on his seat silently, he was feeling uneasy all of a sudden her name came on their lips after so many years back. Then he took out his pH from his pocket to avoid that conversation..

"By the way she has changed a lot she look more beautiful and confident than she had been..she is a Researcher in London University..she is doing quite well..
She didn't fulfilled the status column yet, it was blank..but I guess she got married.."Raj paused before he started again..
"But the most strangest part is all the pics are of whether with her fellow peoples, I mean to say with her colleagues or rest are with a kid..there wasn't a single pic with any guy that could be consider as her fiancee, boyfriend or husband.." informed Raj in a calculative face..

This made Neil raise his eyes away his pH screen straight at Raj..

"Because I saw her many pics with a cute kid and one of the captions was My lil Angel. And the most interesting part is that kid look like an alloy of Indian and foreigner along with those unusual white complexion his hair is golden brown.." added Joy..

"Humm!! she must have married a foreigner I guess" Sighed Ali..

"She had topped in the university I had heard after we left.." stated Monish..

"Yeah she is a brilliant student even I heard she has achieved a gold Medel in Statictics.." added Joy..

"And we people were such a jerk, we used to had bothered her so much in her first year college days.." smirked Ali nodding his head gently..

"Not us!! only Neil..baaki sabkito crush thi" Kk winked at Joy then fell on his shoulder laughing maniacly..

Niel choked his drink inside his throat gulping it down hard. keeping the glass down he stood up off his seat being not interested by their continuously blabbering on a same topic.

"Ummm it's almost 12am I should leave now.."Neil said looking at his wrist watch in excuse to leave the spot as soon as he could..

"Yeah Neil is right it's late..we have office tomorrow.."Monish granted after Neil taking up his pH from the centre table..
Everyone agreed and prepared about to move from their comfortable postures except kk..

"Bro one last drink" kk spoke in a requesting tone and their eyes all paused at Neil..

Neil frowned staring back at them..everyone still standing there..

Neil rolled his eyes and slouched on his seat back not having any option left for him to deny them..

All chortled together glancing at eachother, Kk raised his arm and called the waiter..
