The other day, my principal introduced a ban on hoodies. Since then, getting caught wearing a hoodie at any time of the day on campus will result in you being forced to take it off.

One of my principal's reasonings was that "you look like a bunch of thugs". But since when does a piece of clothing prove a criminal?

I guess it always has as long as you're black.

However, when a white boy wears a hoodie, he's a glorified Young God. An attractive James Dean with a God complex and a smug smile that could kill.

But when I wear a hoodie, I'm a troubled Young Thug. A no-named boy with little to no education and a gun where my humanity should be.
