Chapter 14: Jiwon, I Know Who I Am

I was trained on the piano, I played tennis, and I was great at school. I was keeping to myself and I was trying to stay on task with my schoolwork. I know I am in the 5th grade, but I need to prepare myself for collage. I was taking on extra assignments and taking up some other clubs and studying in advance in the magic area. I was way advance in the magic area of my school. The teachers only helped me when it came to challenge my magic to its true form. I was only having problem that I was having when it came to my magic, but when I came to school today, I was able to do it.

"Hey Jiwon, do you want to study with us?" asked Dana as she held out her history.

She sat with Lina, Noel, Jodi, and Nina. They were going over the history test that we were having today. I know I was prepared for this history test and my other friends are usually prepared for theirs, but they sometimes need help with understanding things.

"Ok, what part of the test do we need to go over?" I asked them as I sat down next to Dana.

I took out my history book and my spell book.

"I need a little help with understanding the Egyptian ruins" said Noel as she showed her notes to me.

I was explaining the history behind it while Nina got too curious for her own good. She looked at her spell book and then at mine. She knew something was off about how our spell books looked, so she decided to pick mine up and compared it to hers. She was just in a beginner's class in the magic area, but she was progressing in a faster rate than normal students were in our grade. However, she was not in my area of magic. I saw her open the book and she began to recite the spell! I took the book and closed it before she could create the spell at full force.

"Hey! I was reading that!" she said to me as she looked at the book.

"Nina, we are supposed to be studying history not magic" I told her as I clutched the book closer to me.

"I know, but that book is really powerful" she said to me.

"Well of course it is. I am in a high magic level than you, Nina. You know that" I replied

"Right, but that book is special" she said as she looked at it again.

"What are you talking about?" I asked her.

"That mark on it. It's not common here" she said as she pointed to the book with a mark of dragon on it.

I had already known that this book was special, but I didn't think anything of it really. I had come to the conclusion that it was a misprint, but Nina made it sound like this mark was a big deal. We dropped the conversation and continued to study until Nina and the others got the idea of the test. However, I went to the library and began to look up the mark on the book. Nothing was coming up and I had check everything. I was about to leave when Mr. Rice came in with a bunch of books in his house.

"Hello Jiwon, do you need help with something?" he asked as he placed the books on the counter.

He cast a levitating spell that moved the books to their proper shelves. I walked over to the counter and placed my book on the counter.

"Do you know anything about this book?" I asked him even though I should be asking Mrs. Wallace about this.

"Hm. I have seen the mark before" he said as he looked at the book closely.

He typed something on his computer as he looked at the book. I glanced at him and the computer and saw the mark online.

"Huh. It is an ancient book that is from" he stopped mid-sentence and he looked at the book and then at me.

"What? Where is the book from?" I asked him.

"From another world" he said as he handed me my book back.

"Another world?! Where?!" I asked him in an astounded manner.

"I am not sure, but here" he said as he waved his hand at a bookshelf and a red book came over to him.

"Look at this book" he said to me as he handed me the book, but he seemed nervous.

I took the book and thanked him. I left the library and went back to my room. I opened the book and turned to the page where the mark on my book was on and what I found was something amazing and interesting. The book was about other worlds and the 16 people who protected them: The Dreamers. They were the ones who helped the world and allow travel between the worlds. They helped many people and they have teamed with people as strong as them and they were called the Descendants of the 2 Protectors, 4 Seasons, 7 Colors, 12 Months, 16 Realms, and Elementalist. However, what shocked me the most was the mark in the book! It was my book! I continue to read about the mark on the book.

This mark on the book shows the relationship between the world of Warriors to the World of the Dreamers. The Warriors are furious people that can wield spears, javelins, bows, swords, axes, tomes, spirits, beaststones, and staffs. These people were fighting of the darkness and protecting their world. The Warriors were from different realms of their own worlds.

Interesting! So I was a part of them! I looked at my book again in awe. I was surprised that I was related to a group of people called the Warriors and that I might be one of the legendary Dreamers. After that day, I began to do some research on the Dreamers and the other worlds that were connected to them. However, I could not find anything about them. This made me really annoyed and I was looking around in the library for something. I noticed a book with a blue covering that I have not seen before. I pulled the book out of the shelf and opened it. Before I could read one word of the book, it sucked me and teleported me to another place! I woke up in a tower and I saw an old man looking at.

I bolted up from the ground with my book in my hands as I shouted "Ah! Who are you?!"

"Relax Lauren. I called you here" he said to me calmly.

"Wait a minute, how did you know my rmiddle name?" I asked him as I clenched my book in my hands.

"Lauren, I know you, because of your ancestors! You are as stubborn as them. One of the know masters in the Dreamers" he said to me as he looked at me and the book.

"What are you talking about?" I asked him.

"There two members of the Dreamers that have the ability to use other items and master them with ease except for the two worlds they are bonded too and the other worlds that the other Dreamers are bonded too" he said as he got up and walked to his seat.

"Wait am I a Dreamer?" I asked him cautiously though I had a feeling I was a Dreamer.

"Lauren, you are smart. You and I both know that you are a Dreamer" he said calmly with a smile on his face.

I knew it! He knew about the Dreamers!

"Now let's get the other Dreamers, shall we?" he asked me.

"Alright!" I said to him in joy.

He smiled at me as he said "You will have to find Stephen and tell him that he is a Dreamer and then you two must work together to find the other Dreamers and help protect them"

"Wait, do you mean the Stephen that mess with technology and creates his own technology?" I asked him in a confused manner.

Stephen was a nice kid, but he can be a bit crazy and too much for anyone to handle.

He was confused and then he laughed as he said "Oh right you know this guy as Ben! Go find him and tell him he is a Dreamer and you two have to protect the Dreamers and help them"

I was shock. Ben's real name was Stephen?! Huh, you learn something new every day. I nodded and then he waved his hand and opened a portal back to my world. I was about to cross over it, but he stopped me.

"Oh, and Laruen, keep practicing the magic in the book. It will help you in the future" he said to me kindly.

I smiled in agreement and then I waved to him as I crossed over the portal. I was in my room. I looked at my book again and then I began to learn some new spells and practice some old spells. I waited until the day I was supposed to get the Dreamers together. My life had never been the same since I learned the history of my book. I had helped the Dreamers, been involved in major battles and teamed with my friends and guardians. We would protect the worlds and our classmates from all kinds of evil. I can't for my life to go on, because it was amazing, and I was doing the best I can, and it was good enough.
