Numerous scenes from Beth's life popped up in the air, projecting different detailed experiences she went through over the fifteen years of life.

She turned her head around to visually walk through those scenes.

Some scenes made her smile again. The joyous days when she first entered kindergarten, wearing a pigtail and overalls. The awkward yet funny school costume dance. The hide and seeks she played with Margot, Gina, and other students in the class. The happiness when she was savoring a mango ice cream all by herself at the beach. The small, colorful flowers she found unexpectedly each early summer. The inspiration she got when visiting Lisette. Last but not least, the day she received acceptance from Laurel Prep.

Some scenes gave an extra sting to her heart. The time when she was told that there would be no place for her. The time when kids shun away from her due to her clothes and mannerisms. The outings when she yearned for a new toy outside the shopping mall. The many arguments she had regarding her grades and dream as a fashion designer with her family. The day when Paige and Jade laughed at her.

Some scenes still left her in awe. The interaction that she had with Lisette students. The school assembly at Laurel where each student introduced their summer activities. During that moment, she knew that getting amazing achievements and doing spectacular things as teenagers were celebrated in her new environment.

Looking at these things, Beth's vision became blurry.

"Wow, I have been through a lot..."

All the memories floated in the white space like individual stars. The most important memories, one by one, formed a stream of light and visions, like a movie. Things stopped glitching in the background as the movie took place. Those disappointments, irrational decisions made in the past, arguments, tears, and conflicts were all triggers in the butterfly effect in this time-space existence of the memories of Bethany A. Clementine. The inability to purchase fancy clothes triggered her love of fashion. The visit to Lisette City led to her making Lisette University and Laurel Prep a dream. All her experience being a rare educated student in her town led to her acceptance into Laurel Prep Now, she was in the middle of self-reflection because of everything that happened in Laurel City. There could have been many other possibilities that she could have taken. However, only this particular life ridden with imperfection, flaws, and difficulties became the one that formed all her memories.

Tears crossed Beth's cheeks.

I had many shortcomings. I have always wished to have a better life. Now I know the answer to my wish: there's no such thing as a romanticized perfect life. Even if I reset my life, different choices and problems would ensue.

Yet that is not all.

Jules, didn't you say that life is constantly changing, and what we can only do is move on?

These memories are the marks that I am here. I won't let them slip away.

The shadow of a person with Beth's identical curly blonde hair appeared again in front of her. Beth remembered seeing her when she first got her magic.

She reached out to the person. The person went away, leaving her with a mirror that reflected herself.
