Hidden at the center of the heliotrope,

A touch of heat; a bit of elusive sunshine hides,

Her center surrounded in white innocence,

The petals unfolding in delicate violet splendor,

Chasing away the darkness

...As does her inner light.

Against all odds, she is there,

Like newborn flowers breaking through winter's bite,

Blooming into spring,

She does so come forth,

Protecting Mother Earth's children,

Chasing away the horrors of night.

She is there.

The demons of hell circle the weak,

To feed on Her young,

And take from them life.

They come hunting, intending to kill, to take unto death;

Their blood-thirsty needs to be met.

Aingeal Fola;

The angel of blood,

Our angel of light,

Our angel of life,

Here to overcome those who would harm the living.
