Summary: Kim Yoohyeon, hanging out on her own in Seoul, meets Kim Minji, a very mysterious yet attractive young woman she can't help but want to trust. Although Yoohyeon feels shy, she can be grateful Minji has an outgoing personality...

A/N: this was my very first oneshot, written more than a year ago. as a consequence, it is far from being my best. yet, I decided to share it because it's still cute. their awkwardness in the story expresses mine

"Thank you, have a nice day!" Kim Yoohyeon told the vendor, as she paid for the flavored ice cream that had kept her salivating during her long minutes of hesitation.

She started to eat the icy flavor as she quietly walked towards a park, putting the sunglasses tucked in her blonde hair back on her nose. Yoohyeon was getting to know the busy streets of the capital, which she visited from time to time.

She settled into a small corner in the shade of a tree, allowing her to remove her sunglasses. Around her, the park was crowded. Summer was beginning to fade, and fall was slowly setting in, but the sun had kept up its habit of beating down hard. There were no clouds to hide it, that day. Every nice area was taken up by numerous people. All the benches were occupied, and the playground was noisy even from where Yoohyeon was sitting. Families, friends, couples, athletes, but also people who had come alone like her, surrounded her.

Yoohyeon stretched out her legs in front of her, letting the slightly dry blades of grass tingle her skin. She looked up at the yellowed leaves of the tree above her, which danced with the slow rhythm of the wind. This breeze helped her bear the heat. Once her ice cream was almost finished, the reason why she was in Seoul came back to her, stretching her lips into a broad smile. She had come to Seoul to see her favorite group in concert for the first time.

She stayed there, relaxing despite the ambient noise, before a sound close to her made her turn her head: a frisbee had landed not far from her. A young woman about her age trotted over to her.

"Sorry!" she said. "I hope it didn't bother you."

Since this stranger had chosen to speak to Yoohyeon, she looked at her in detail. Purple hair covered her forehead and the top of her shoulders. Glasses sat on her nose. Her dark eyes, crinkled with a big smile, gave Yoohyeon a very nice impression of her. This expression rejuvenated her, and the girl seemed younger than her for a moment. She was gorgeous.

A dark jacket covered her arms, and matching shorts showed off her long legs, the bottoms of which were hidden by high black boots. Under her jacket, on her shirt, Yoohyeon's eyes locked onto a logo she knew very well. Yet, she didn't say anything about it, because her shyness was getting the better of her.

"No, don't worry," she only replied.

"I saw the drawing on your bag," the stranger surprisingly added, "Are you going to the concert tonight?"

"Are you talking about InSomnia?" Yoohyeon asked, referring to the popular group whose logo was shown off by the two of them.

"Will you be there too?" she asked, smiling wider, if that were possible. Yoohyeon could have freaked out to be asked questions like that, but this woman's smile didn't seem to hide any bad intention, even though it was a feeling she couldn't explain. She took her frisbee in her hands and, very surprisingly, sat down next to the blonde girl, as if their shared passion had immediately brought them closer together. It, indeed, kind of did. This time, Yoohyeon returned her smile, although the fact that she was so naturally at ease surprised her.

"Yes, that's why I'm in Seoul," she finally answered.

The young woman then looked at her. "Actually..." she resumed with a hint of embarrassment in her voice. "What's your name?"

"My name's Yoohyeon," she replied, meeting her eyes. "What's yours?"

"Minji. And...to be honest, the frisbee was just an excuse," she confessed. "My little brother deliberately aimed at you so that I'd come and talk to you."

"Talk to me? Why...?" the blonde girl asked, confused.

"I noticed you right away when you arrived," Minji explained. "Not only do you have a bag with my favorite band's logo on it, but you're also really beautiful."

When she said those last two words about her, the blonde girl looked away as her heart seemed to skip a beat. Yoohyeon probably wouldn't have believed her if she hadn't sounded so sincere. However, she didn't dare say anything back, and couldn't muster her words, feeling caught off guard. Suddenly, a giggle escaped Minji's lips, drawing the taller girl's gaze back to her. It was as pure as her face and smile. Yoohyeon felt her cheeks flush red.

She spoke again as if nothing had happened. "Are you coming to the concert by yourself?"

"Yes, I am. A friend of mine was supposed to go with me, but she eventually couldn't afford it," the blonde girl revealed with a chuckle.

"I see. My brother will be there with me. I didn't want to bother him with it, but he insisted."

"He seems really nice," Yoohyeon noticed, hearing how thoughtful he was.

"And he is! Besides, I should go back to not keep him waiting too long." Just when she thought Minji was about to leave, she stood up and looked at her. "Do you want to join us?"

"Me?"

"Who else? Come on," she invited, still smiling.

Every time Yoohyeon thought she couldn't surprise her again, she did. Grabbing her bag, she followed her. No part of her wanted to say no. Minji was very charming, and the blonde girl couldn't deny it. She watched her walk, and she looked so elegant even though it was something so common.

Once they'd joined her brother, she introduced them to each other. Then, she stepped back and nimbly tossed the frisbee towards Yoohyeon. Although it was well-aimed, she contrasted a lot with Minji as she couldn't even catch it.

"Sorry! I'm not used to this so I guess you'll have to handle some bad throws and catches," Yoohyeon apologized.

"Don't worry! My brother's not much better," laughed the charming young woman.

"Hey, I can hear you!," he called, picking up the frisbee Yoohyeon had clumsily thrown.

With each of her throws, she apologized awkwardly by blaming the object, accusing it of not cooperating with her. After about ten minutes of the siblings admiring her mediocrity, Minji approached her to show the right gesture. She got very close to Yoohyeon's body, her chest crushing her back. The frisbee was between the taller girl's fingers, as her new acquaintance put her hand over hers to correct her position. She set it a little straighter, and moved her arm slightly with her free hand.

"Throw it", Minji whispered in her ear.

Yoohyeon obeyed, and, unlike all the previous times, the object's trajectory was more stable.

"I didn't know you could be a frisbee pro!" the blonde-haired girl exclaimed, giggling.

Before going back, Minji looked her in the eye and seemed to want to talk. Her lips parted as Yoohyeon's gaze fell on them. After a moment of hesitation, she said, "I don't regret what I said earlier, you're very beautiful."

This time, Yoohyeon's gaze didn't leave her, but Minji turned on her heel quickly, after winking at her, to retrieve the frisbee her brother had thrown at her.

Yoohyeon hadn't checked the time before joining them, so she didn't know how much time they'd spent playing together. However, as she'd been running a lot, she asked for a break, even though they were having fun. Minji's brother gave the new girl a bottle of water and she thanked him for it. She felt at ease with these two new acquaintances, as if she'd known them for years.

The sun was beginning to sink slowly in the sky as the older girl asked, "Are y'all hungry? Because I am." Her hand was running through her purple hair when Yoohyeon looked at her.

The two others felt the same, so they all headed out of the park to find a meal that would suit everyone. In the end, their choice was a Korean restaurant. In just under an hour, the two girls talked even more about their favorite group, their favorite albums and their different musical styles, before leaving the restaurant.

During the concert, the atmosphere was great. Yoohyeon could see the artists she loved the most with her own eyes. Finally. The euphoria that made her smile seemed almost unreal. The two girls had privileged places, so they weren't too far apart. On the contrary, her brother was much further away, with a seat, so he didn't have to spend too much money.

Suddenly, Yoohyeon felt a hand grab her own. Following this contact with her eyes, she met the gaze of a delighted Minji who had intertwined their fingers. In response, she squeezed her hand. Maybe it was to let her know that she didn't want Minji to let her go, or that Yoohyeon was as happy as she was to experience this night. It felt like she was holding the hand of a long-time friend, not some attractive young woman she'd met during the day. The music flowed and Yoohyeon felt invincible.

Several hours later, the concert was over. They'd had an incredible time that would be remembered for a very long time. Yoohyeon was pushing open the bathroom door to go out to where Minji and her brother were waiting for her. As soon as she realized she had caught them talking, she got much slower and quieter.

"But I really like her," Minji sighed, without knowing she was listening.

"What do you want to do?" her brother asked.

"I don't know..."

The blonde girl eventually walked out, cutting off their conversation, and the other girl seemed surprised to see her. When the young man saw her, he smiled and explained that he was leaving the two of them alone, pretending to be tired. Once her brother was out of her line of sight, Minji let a sigh escape her lips as she looked at Yoohyeon.

"About what I said..." she began, guessing she'd overheard at least part of their exchange.

Just then, a question hit the taller girl as her pulse quickened. She cut her off, "Were...were you talking about me?"

Yoohyeon had hesitated before asking; she was unsure. A light, charming chuckle lit up Minji's face. She suddenly felt stupid, but her thoughts were cut short by her reply, "Wasn't it obvious enough? But we've only just met so I'd understand if you-"

"Wait."

Yoohyeon's impulse didn't want her to keep talking. Nevertheless, Minji expected her to say something, but all her words escaped her. The blonde girl's eyes slid to her mouth. She'd never found it so attractive, so her tongue couldn't help but humidify her own lips. Yoohyeon couldn't think of anything else; it was mutual.

In the space of half a day, Minji had charmed her, and she'd learned to love everything she'd discovered about this attractive woman. Hundreds of thoughts raced through her mind. Yoohyeon couldn't let her believe for a moment longer that her crush wasn't shared. She felt the need to say something, at all costs. "Can I kiss you?" were the only words she could utter.

"Please..." Minji begged. "Don't make me wait any longer."

Her soft, calm voice echoed inside Yoohyeon's head. The latter took a step forward. Her heart was beating so fast and hard that it was almost painful. Kissing Minji was now her only thought. The seconds seemed long now that she had to be bold.

Naturally, she ended up moving a little closer, until her feet were right in front of Minji's. Yoohyeon looked into her dark eyes again. She smiled. She timidly lifted one of her hands and slid it to the back of her head, above her neck, through her purple baby hairs. She brought her face closer. Her gaze moved from her eyes to her lips.

Finally, Yoohyeon crushed the few millimeters separating their two mouths. She immediately felt the softness of Minji's lips. Without any surprise, it was another part of her that emanated an inconceivable purity. The moment their lips were sealed seemed to last for hours.

Eventually, they parted.

"I guess you feel the same way, then" she assumed with a soft giggle.

"Yes..." the blonde girl admitted.

She met Minji's eyes for the first time after their kiss. Yoohyeon would never want to stop gazing into them, so indisputably intense, dark, and alluring. Minji smiled at her. That image of her, so fulfilled, so delighted, made her smile back.

"Minji..." she whispered.

But she wouldn't let Yoohyeon speak. Instead, the purple-haired girl kissed her again, this time more intensely. She closed her eyes, as Minji's two hands cupped her hips, before sliding down along her back to hold her. This contact forced them even closer. Therefore, Yoohyeon fully embraced her neck with her arms. The taller one's lower stomach stirred, and thousands of pleasant sensations swarmed through her body so much that she shivered. Glued to Yoohyeon's mouth, she felt Minji's own half-open to let their tongues finally find each other. Breathless, they finally broke the strong closeness, and Yoohyeon immediately missed it. She wanted to feel her lips again.

"We...we should go," Minji said, still glued to me.

They kept their hands together until they got a cab. Inside the car, they exchanged no words, each of them too busy with their own thoughts. Yoohyeon dared to admire her for a short moment, but it was enough to notice that her cheeks had reddened. She then thought she was probably in the same state. A little embarrassed, she hid her cheeks with her hands, only to find them burning.

They had arrived at the hotel her brother had gone to earlier when they got a room they could share, with a king-size bed for one night only.

An unexplainable tension floated between the two of them as they took the elevator in deafening silence. Yoohyeon barely glanced at her. In the corridor, Minji walked ahead of her, and placed the card on the electronic sensor to open the door. She followed her in and closed the door behind them, still facing Minji. The latter placed her jacket and the rest of her belongings on the floor, and Yoohyeon mirrored her action. Then, Minji's gaze found her.

Her eyes were burning. Yet, she turned around to put her glasses on the nearest piece of furniture.

"Yoohyeon..." she uttered softly without taking her eyes off her hands.

The blonde girl looked at her curiously, as the older girl finally turned towards her, before stepping forward. Her smile was gone. Yoohyeon was almost intimidated, and didn't know how to act, so she stepped back until her back hit the wall.

"Minji..." she breathed, almost pleading.

Yoohyeon was breathing hard, letting her breath escape through her half-opened lips. She couldn't look at anything but Minji. Her beauty shook her again. The young woman had finally arrived at her destination: right in front of the taller girl. She tenderly rested her soft hand against her cheek. The air was heavy. She brought her face close to her, as she had earlier. But this was different. The intensity in her eyes seemed stronger. Very close to Yoohyeon, she smiled. Suddenly, Minji kissed her. She had already missed that. Minji took possession of her lips as if she owned them. Yoohyeon wrapped her arms around her neck, pulling her closer. This brutal gesture drew a groan of surprise from the older girl. Everything made Yoohyeon's stomach clench even more than it had during their first kiss. The sensation was incomparable. The tension was incomparable. Minji's lips left her own to put kisses along her jawline and neck. The other girl even raised her head to give an easier access as she could feel her breath on her neck. On the other hand, she pressed Minji's body even harder against hers; she didn't want to let her go.

"Minji..." she whispered. At the sound of her voice, the purple-haired girl pulled away slightly to look at her, concerned. Yoohyeon had to speak again to erase any misunderstanding. "No! Don't stop, please..."

With that, Minji pulled her towards the bed. She gently pushed the younger girl so that her back would lay against the sheets. Then, she moved to her face again, leaning over her.

"You're really beautiful," Minji asserted before finding her lips again without giving her a chance to respond.

Yoohyeon liked giving her control.

Both Minji's hands slid down her forearms to her wrists in an effort to hold them over her head, close to one of the pillows. She kissed Yoohyeon even harder, to the point where her breasts were crushing her own. The older girl then resumed what she'd stopped. She spangled her neck with kisses as she worked her way down to her collarbones. Once there, she removed Yoohyeon's top before picking up her lips once again. In response, the blonde girl removed her arms from where Minji had placed them so that her shirt could join hers. As she did so, she saw the logo again. Fresh memories of their meeting came flooding back. Amused by the fact that they had only met a couple hours ago, she smiled; and, as if reading her mind, Minji turned her head to the shirt that had just been removed and giggled.

The older girl put her hands on the bare skin of her belly. She was now straddling her. A serious expression settled on her facial features. "Yoohyeon... Are you sure?" she asked dutifully.

This question comforted her; she was respectful. However, it was obvious to her.

Yoohyeon was sure.

She wanted Minji.

The morning sunlight roused Yoohyeon from her sleep. Memories of her night gradually came flooding back as she woke up. The bed next to her was empty. A surge of panic made her open her eyes suddenly. Had Minji left? Had she left her? Was she regretting their night?

Stress had taken hold of the blonde girl. She might even have thought it was all a dream if she hadn't seen Minji's silhouette sitting on the windowsill.

"You're here," Yoohyeon noticed, relieved to see her.

"Of course I'm here," she declared with a soft smile. "You're cute when you sleep, puppy."

Yoohyeon tried to ignore her flushing cheeks as she enjoyed how warm Minji's gaze was, and how reassuring her smile was. She'd already had time to properly dress up and arrange herself, while the blonde girl's still-naked body was hidden under the sheets. How long had she been up?

"How are you?" Minji asked her gently.

"I think...it was one of the best nights of my life." As Yoohyeon answered, her cheeks flushed even redder. A big smile stretched her lips. She had been completely fulfilled.

The elegant young woman stood up, then knelt in front of the bed to reach her. She gently placed her lips on Yoohyeon's. The kiss surprised her. It was different from those of the day before, Minji making everything they'd been through seem very real. The laid down girl blushed even more and turned her head away.

"Getting shy?" she teased softly, smiling, amused at her confusion.

Her smile then disappeared from her face. "Yoohyeon...I've got a train home in a little while," she announced with a sigh. "My brother's waiting for me and I'll have to go soon."

Her blatant remark placed a weight on Yoohyeon's heart. Of course she had to go... Minji's eyes looked sad, and the taller girl couldn't help but feel disappointed.

"You're leaving?" Her tone was almost childish and her question too innocent. Minji brushed her bare shoulder with her fingertips, which stuck out from the comforter. She couldn't hold back a shiver.

"I like you very much, Yoohyeon."

"It's...Me too, Minji." The blonde girl saw her face lit up thanks to a broad smile. "Wasn't it obvious enough?" she teased, echoing her words from the night before.

They smiled, without taking their eyes off each other.

"I really don't want to leave you behind. I absolutely want to keep in touch with you, if you'd like to too," Minji resumed. "I want to get to know you properly."

"Wait," Yoohyeon cut her off.

After catching up with her underwear, she went for her phone, touched by her words. She paid no attention to the messages she had gotten, focusing on her only goal. She opened her contacts and added one, leaving the information blank. She handed Minji her phone and watched her type in her name and number with a smile on her face. When she handed it back to Yoohyeon, the latter noticed she'd named herself "Minji <3", making her smile.

"I really gotta go now. I'm sorry I have to leave like that," she said as she guiltily glanced at the door.

"Don't worry," Yoohyeon reassured her, smiling shyly. "Off you go, Minji. We'll meet again."

She grabbed her bag and put her jacket back on. She was about to leave when she turned to the girl who was still in bed. Hesitantly, Minji trotted over to the bed to place a kiss on her cheek.

"See you, then, Yoohyeon. I'll really miss your cute face."

The incredible purple-haired woman then left the room without Yoohyeon taking her eyes off her for a moment. Once she'd closed the door, a sigh escaped the blonde girl's lips.

Yoohyeon had really fallen for this woman.

Perhaps it was even love at first sight...
