Chapter 16

"Ah! That was so fun!" Tae exclaimed, skipping down the hall to the dressing room.

Hoseok jumped up and latched his arm over the younger boy's shoulders, "And Jimin-ie only fell twice!"

"Hey!"

The members laughed, each of them in a good mood after the first event. It had gone smoothly, the ARMYs in attendance all energetic and eager to meet them. Yoongi personally was worn out after even the first event, but Sophie had arranged the schedule so that they had lunch and then an hour to rest before the next one.

As if the thought of her called her, the young girl appeared at the end of the hallway, changed into a more comfortable skater skirt and pale yellow blouse. A signature silk ribbon was tied around her neck, earpiece on per usual.

"Lunch is ready!" She called, brightening up at the sight of the group.

Yoongi was surprised to see  a whole different kind of lunch that sat ready for them. These bento boxes were made delicately and almost lovingly, each crafted beautifully and packed into neat bamboo bentos, the usual Styrofoam boxes nowhere to be seen. The stylists and makeup artists were also happily eating with one another, each of them enjoying the lunch.

"Whoa, this looks good!" Jimin exclaimed, opening up one of the layers to reveal a large piece of tonkatsu, expertly sliced and smothered in sauce, with broccoli on the side.

They dug in, each of them getting their own box. The flavor of traditional Japanese cuisine was amazing by itself, but the bento box had its own charm, each of the seperate elements working together and balancing each other perfectly.

"Sophie-ah!!" Jin called as he inhaled the delicious meal, "Have I ever told you how much I love you?"

"Just eat up," she laughed, taking a bite of the rolled egg.

"This is on a whole other level of tour food," Jungkook said, staring at the box like it was some kind of trophy.

"I found a small family run restaurant nearby that was inexpensive and looked good," Sophie recalled, "The girl at the counter was extremely friendly as well and she recommended these."

"I want to marry her," Jin said, making the younger ones cringe.

"Ah, why is this hyung so weird?!"

"Sophieeeeeeee!" Taehyung called from the couch he was currently sprawled on.

"Whaaatt?" She replied, mimicking him.

"Banmal?" He asked, continuing the tone.

"I'm older than you, remember?"

"Aniya, we're the same age," he corrected her.

"Taehyung-ah, you're younger than everyone in your line," Namjoon pointed out, earning a glare from the younger man.

"Yea, Tae Tae," Hoseok teased.

"You can't count human years, Taehyung is another species."

As the other members got into yet another bickering argument on V's origins, Sophie made herself comfortable on a spacious couch corner, giving her feet the break they needed from running around the whole day. Suga, to her surprise, got up from the group and joined her, plopping himself down onto the couch.

"Why hello," she said, glancing over.

The older man didn't reply, only closing his eyes and laying his head back to rest on the wall.

"Good talk," she nodded, looking back to see Tae and Hobi holding up plastic spoons while circling each other, "Aish, really guys?"

"Just let them be," Suga's deep voice interrupted, "As long as they're doing that they're not bothering the people that want to rest."

"So, just you then."

He opened an eye and glared at her, "You're resting too, aren't you?"

"Aniyo, I'm just lounging," she replied, not missing a beat.

"Aniya."

"Pardon?"

"Getting closer," he stated simply, waving a hand between the two of them, "Us two."

"Ah," Sophie nodded again, voice light, "Kure."

He tsked at her, closing his eyes again before he shifted around to get more comfortable. Sophie just sighed a little, taking the time to rest and clear her head before the next event. After a couple minutes, she heard soft snores coming from the man and turned a little to see that he had fallen asleep sitting straight up with no problem.

"Isn't he uncomfortable?" She mused to herself, watching the man fast asleep, "He can sleep in this chaos with no problem... What is he?"

"That's just typical Yoongi-hyung, noona," Jungkook said from where he was getting his hair redone, "Ow!"

"Stop complaining, it's your fault you messed your hair up in the first place," the young stylist retorts around the absurd amount of bobby pins she was holding with her lips.

"Aniya! Jin-hyung messed it up not me!"

"Hey! Who are you blaming?!" The eldest hyung protested, coming over to scold the maknae, "Stop telling Soohee bad things about me."

"I'm just telling the trut-Ow!" Jungkook yelped, glaring at the girl.

"Stop being such a baby, there's something stuck," she frowned.

Sophie just looked at the scene, bemused. Soohee was a 97 liner like Jungkook, but the girl didn't back down to anyone. She fought for what she wanted and at most times got scolded for her reckless nature. Nevertheless, she was a talented stylist excelling in both fashion and hair styling through her experiences in theater. Sophie hadn't really talked to her as she had a day job working at the Seoul Art Center, but the girl was a fun addition for the tour.

She yawned and stretched a little, looking over at the peacefully sleeping man next to her. He looked so soft asleep, and she preferred this over the cold poker face that he usually had. She couldn't help but smile as she got up to prepare for the next event, he had another half an hour to nap and she wouldn't be the one to face the wrath of waking him up early.
