Chapter 61- More questions than answers (Shattered multiverse)
Sun schemes while Shattered suffers but a surprise visitor pushes things off track

Shattered multiverse
Doodle Sphere
Sun held the phone like it was a lifeline, trying not to burst into laughter when he heard Shattered curse from somewhere in the house. He guessed they found one of the 'surprises' he left around for them, grinning when their cursing only grew louder.
The traps were annoyingly not up to his standards but with how little time he got alone and with his magic still on the fritz, they would have to do.
When the screech of rage from Shattered eventually died down, he went back to whispering into the phone, hoping Core would have the answers he would need.
"So the first thing is-"
...
"What? No! Stalker surprisingly isn't the main issue for once!'
...
"Well, I mean you aren't exactly wrong . They did start this whole mess so-"
...
"Core, my first friend and the only one who seems to make sense in this dark and depressing omniverse. I appreciate you willing to FUNK stalker up but i would rather not test your powers against his-"
...
"You don't even like leaving your place! Even you said, that you aren't sure if you can ever leave your multiverse! Do not be unreasonable about this!"
...
"I know how hypocritical that sounds but that hardly means I am wrong!
...
"...fine. It's not like I could stop you anyway. Look, can you just listen before you go and make stalkers life hell?"
Sun was kind of disbelieving he was being the sensible one here, Core sounding much more vicious than he remembered them being. He suddenly froze when he saw a shadow pass underneath the door, letting out a breath of relief when Shattered simply passed by.
He would have to finish this quickly, doubting Shattered would give him another chance to do this again. Not to mention his stupid recurring leech he would have to deal with soon, once the next few days of babysitting were done.
He just hoped that Core would be able to help, grimacing when his magic randomly sparked before sputtering out in a rather painful manner.
This was getting rather annoying to deal with...

UnderFell AU
"'You would be great with kids, Dream'. 'They are a joy to have, Dream'. 'Life was meaningless until I had them, Dream'. Lies! All damn lies! If I ever hear someone tell me that again, I will end them!"
Shattered grumbled, ignoring how everyone scattered when he passed them, as he didn't bother to reign in his magic. He only got brief sadistic amusement from the supposed 'big scary monsters' running from him, whenever he made eye contact but his mood plummeted when the current problem in his life spoke up.
"Can you not have a mental breakdown right now or at least wait until I don't have to be present for it. Also I'm hungry, old starfish. I feel myself wasting away. Tut tut, such a bad babysitter you are~"
His tentacles twitched in sheer irritation as the babybones mocked him, his grip on them tight and refusing to let them out of his sight. He almost felt like he was being punished for all his sins, the babybones surely the embodiment of all his karma. That was the only thing that could explain having to deal with such a trying monster, not even having found Ink this annoying!
"... did you just compare me to a Creator?! I knew I was going too easy on you!"
...fuck! He said that out loud, didn't he? And what did they mean easy?!
"You tried to eat an AU! You turned the house into a war zone! I can't even find my bedroom anymore!"
He wasn't sure how they achieved any of this, staring down at the unrepentantly smug babybones with growing mental exhaustion.
It hadn't even been a day yet and he still had a few more to go, before he would be free again.
He felt like he was going to dust at this rate, violently stabbing his tentacle through a monster who tried to sneak up on him. That did help to settle some of his irritation but still not enough for his liking.
Perhaps he could find a few more idiots to help himself relax? He still had some time before his idiot twin arrived and tried to 'save' him again.
"Heh, that was fun"
Sun smirked up at Shattered, amused how frazzled they looked. Why they had thought leaving the Doodle Sphere would mean he would behave better was bizarre but still amused him greatly. He may not have access to all of his magic but he had learned a few tricks thanks to observing many Creators and Destroyers.
He may be annoyingly small but his unassuming appearance did mean that adults tended to be less guarded in their actions, meaning he had learnt some rather useful things.
..he was still worried about some of the answers Core had given him though, really hoping they had been mistaken but knew his luck was never that good. He winced when his hand spasmed Core having warned him of this possibility , quickly trying to distract Shattered sudden spike of concern by acting even more obnoxious, smirking when it worked just as planned.
"You are such a little SHITAKE!"
"Now that is some unrad language, my goopy bro. You need to chillax"
" Fresh. What are you doing here? "
Sun had never heard Shattered sound like that before, kind of envious he had never achieved that level of scorn yet. His gaze quickly switched to Fresh, unsure if this was his Fresh or not.
He had never missed his magic senses more then now...
"How have you been, baby parasite? I can see you had a rad eye change"
He grinned and reached out to the familiar monster, giggling when he was suddenly in their arms. This was much better, yawning and deciding a quick nap couldn't hurt.
Fresh glasses flashed to question marks, going blank when he studied the sleeping babybones. They did not look as healthy as the last time he saw them, titling his glasses down and taking them in further, clicking in displeasure at what he could sense.
"Fresh. I am not in the mood for one of your 'games'. Give the kid back before i-YOU ABSOLUTE DONKEY-"
"Such unrad language, bro. You need a timeout"
He smirked when Shattered fell through his portal, now able to focus on more important things. Such as what happened to his baby parasite and why they had so many other monsters magic on them, not fitting in with what he remembered about them at all.
He stilled unnaturally when he sensed that Sun had a bond, frowning in displeasure and slight jealousy as the last time he met them, they had been nowhere near ready for that possibility.
He rumbled in comfort when they shifted in their sleep, having plenty of time to get the answers he wanted, for now he would take them somewhere safe to rest.
While he did enjoy poking the Guardians of this place, he was in no rush to continue his fun. Besides, this whole multiverse needed to learn to chill in his opinion, his grin turning inhuman when he grabbed a furby and placed it 'innocently' on the ground.
"You know the rules, little dude. Make the AU super radical "
A perfect distraction and would help brighten up this dull place!

*Sun on the phone to Core*
Sun: *Exasperated but also greatly endeared* No, Core. You cant just collapse the multiverse to make it all better
Core: *Fully unhinged and with very few morals* ..i could do it anyway? It might help!
-
*Shattered with only a single thread of patience left after dealing with Sun*
Shattered: *Eye twitching alarmingly and looking like he just went though war* Can you just be calm?! Even for a single second?!
Sun: *Whistling happily and fully enjoying their suffering* No~ 😇
