Eyes (DNF + QN)

          "Well?"
          "Well what?"
Dream scoffed. "Why are you here?"
"Because I missed you," George said bluntly, leaning against the netherite wall that separated him from Dream. "Is that not a good enough reason?" He asked, giving his head a tilt as he looked at Dream from behind his wired glasses. Dream gave George a skeptical look, but then approached. He leaned against the wall, staring into the eyes he loved. He propped his elbow on the wall, resting his head in his palm. Dream's scarred lips curled into a slight smile, reaching his hands out and brushing a bit of George's hair out of his face. "I like your hair," he hummed. "It's nice when it's long."
"Thank you," George said, giving a small smile at Dream's compliments. The Brit leaned into his touch, reaching his hand up and resting it on Dream's hand. He looked down Dream's arm, frowning at the blemishes in his skin. "They hurt you...," George muttered, running his other hand down Dream's arm. Dream sighed slightly. "Yeah. They're pretty damn persistent," he said with a forced chuckle. George didn't smile. He locked his eyes with Dream's, taking in how they looked. His eyes used to be so bright and full of life. They were now dull, empty, and listless. Dream wore a look as though he were fine. As if he were his normal self. But George could see right through it. "Georgie, I'm fine," Dream said quietly, grabbing George's hand and pressing his chapped lips against his palm. George sighed softly, leaning further into Dream's other hand as his eyes shut. "They think I'm on their side," George sadly admitted, opening his eyes and looking down at the wall's top. "That's the only way they'd let me see you...they think I want to bug you for the book to....to bring him back." Dream's expression saddened, eyes beginning to sting with tears. "That's why Quackity wants the book," he spoke. "Isn't it?"
George gave a nod, gently running his fingers against Dream's arm as he held his hand with the other. He didn't pull away from his touch, having been so starved for months. Dream's brows furrowed slightly at the sudden grin that formed on George's face. "What?" He asked, the brunette looking up at him. George suddenly reached forward, cupping Dream's face as he leaned towards him. Dream automatically leaned in, shutting his eyes as he firmly pressed his lips against George's. It was gentle and sweet, George's lips tasting like vanilla. Almost like a sugar cookie. He reached forward, holding George's upper waist as their heads tilted. George suddenly pulled away, their noses touching as he let out a soft giggle. "He's already here," he breathed.
Before Dream could even ask, an alert appeared before him. His eyes went ten times their size as he read over the white text before him.

          Sam was slain by SapNap.

Quackity looked down at the alert, eyes widening. He could feel his heart stop, shaky gasp leaving him as he took a few steps back. Being to struck with shock, he didn't notice the male behind him. "SAM?!–"
Quackify was silenced by a sudden hand wrapping around his front from behind, a hand being placed roughly over his mouth. He reached up, gripping at the person's hand as his back came into contact with their chest. "Shhhh," a voice said softly, Quackity clawing at their arm as an attempt to get free. "It's just me," the person's low voice said, Quackity trying his best to get a look at the person behind him by turning his head as much as he could. When that didn't work, he looked in front of him. In a nearby window, he could see his and SapNap's reflection. Quackity began to shake violently against SapNap's body as his eyes screwed shut, his tears managing to break free. He was feeling many emotions at once. Scared, confused, happy, irritated.
"Quackity, tell me where they are," SapNap said. He lowered his hand, Quackity letting put a shaky gasp. "W–Why are you on th–their side?" He sobbed out, managing to turn his head enough to see SapNap now. "Quackity you know I'm not on their side," he said in a soft voice. "I...I made a promise to George," he continued. "Please just– just tell me where they are and I'll explain everything afterwards." Quackity could barely see his fiance past his salty tears. He still couldn't get the image of his dead body out of his mind, after months of the incident having had happened. Quackity gulped. "I...I-I'll take you to them."

"Get out of here," SapNap said lowly as his hand rested on the lever, looking over his shoulder at Quackity. "George and him both want you dead. Please just...get out while you still can." Quackity took a shaky breath before turning on his heel, hurrying down the hall without looking back. SapNap shut his eyes, taking a deep breath to compose himself as his pulled the lever. He simply stared at the concrete flooring, the sound of the popping lava slowly coming to a halt. He looked up once it was gone, pulling a different lever. The loud whirring and clanks of the pistons filled his ears, the sound slowly fading away as the platform moved across the lava. It was only a moment or two before the platform returned, SapNap not being able to get himself to fake a smile as he saw his 'best friends' now on the platform.
"Pandas!!" Dream screamed happily, practically lunging forward and wrapping his arms tightly around SapNap. SapNap felt conflicted by the embrace, but he slowly hugged Dream back. He felt somewhat at peace, but disturbed all the same. He shut his eyes again, gripping the back of Dream's shirt after hooking his arms underneath his. Dream pulled back, grabbing SapNap's arms and looking him in the eyes. SapNap could see tears in his eyes, Dream's smile never falling. SapNap couldn't help but smile, almost forgetting the monster inside of his best friend. "Hey, Smiley," he said softly.
George suddenly cleared his throat loudly, catching the attention of the two males before him. "While this reunion is all I wanted...," he started, raising a hand. He snapped his fingers loudly, a figure appearing next to him almost immediately. SapNap's eyes widened in absolute horror as he saw XD throw Quackity to the ground, the Latino letting out a sound of pain as he collided with the stone beneath them. He was covered in scrapes and cuts, blood trickling down his face from his forehead. "We have unfinished business, no?"
"wHAT THE FUCK?!" SapNap boomed, rushing to Quackity's side and standing before him. Almost as if he thought he could protect him from the literal God's before him. "THIS WASN'T APART OF THE DEAL!" He shouted, his hair flashing orange. "You PROMISED that you wouldn't hurt him!"
"Georgie," Dream said, the addressed male looking up at him. He wore a slight look of disappointment. "You know better than anyone else I want him dead...but I thought I knew you better," he said. "You wouldn't break a deal - let alone a promise, would you?" George glanced at Quackity. The sight of him in pain and struggling to ignore it filled George with joy. He sighed, closing his eyes. "Get him out of here, SapNap," he said calmly. "If I ever see him anywhere near Kinoko Kingdom, I won't be held accountable for what happens to him." SapNap felt his eyes sting with tears as he stared at George. This wasn't he friend. This was a man that was completely wrapped around his psychopath of a boyfriend's finger. He said nothing as he quickly helped Quackity to his feet, rushing him out of the prison.

"When we're you revived?" Quackity asked quietly, watching as SapNap readied a needle and thread for one of Quackoty's injuries. The two were fresh out of the shower, when Quackity noticed how deep a cut on his arm was. It was too deep to let heal on its own, so he had asked SapNap for assistance in sewing it. SapNap let out a sigh, pulling his hair back into a ponytail so it wouldn't get in his way. "Not too long ago...maybe around two weeks?"
"I'm assuming George wouldn't let you see me." SapNap looked ashamed as he nodded, grabbing the alcohol to sanitize the needle. "It was his plan to get Dream out," SapNap started, gently grabbing Quackity's wrist. "He knew he wouldn't be able to do it without me, and I knew he wanted to hurt you...so I made him promise to not kill you in exchange for it." Quackity hissed slightly as SapNap began to sew his wound, the numbing agent not having fully set in. He shut his eyes, letting out a shaky sigh. "All that matters is you and I are safe," he muttered, slowly opening his eyes. "There's nothing we can do...they have the revival book and a God. We'd be like ants in a battle with a scorpion."
"I don't want to do anything anyways," SapNap said. He looked at Quackity, locking his eyes with him. "I don't care what happens, all I want it to stay with you. You're all that matters to me now." Quackity gave a weak smile, SapNap returning it before continuing to tend to his injury.
