It's been 2 weeks since you've been gone. I miss you daddy. They don't love me. Mommy only loves sister.

I ran out of my room as I heard the sound of my mom's car parking in the compound of our house.

I happily walked to her but then I noticed that she was with a shady looking man that kept glancing in my direction.
"Mommy I'm scared! Make the man go away! I want daddy."

But as usual all my mom did was scoff before walking away from me and towards my sister.

"Hello mommy!" She ran towards her while sending me a smug look. My mother smiled at her and then hugged her lovingly, "hello darling!" She carried her up from the chair and put her on her lap while I was there sobbing in a corner.

My sister Aubrey eyed the man suspiciously before asking about him "uh, who is he?" She said pointing at him.

"He's here to take your sister" she glanced at me. She looked a bit sad, but that only lasted a second.

The words that destroyed everything.

I started sobbing louder while quickly walking up to her and trying to change her mind. "Mommy! Mommy no! Please don't let him take me away. I'll be a good girl and do everything you want. I'll even stop school and lose weight as you wanted, just please don't take me away from you."

But I know she won't listen. It's not like I didn't know that she doesn't love me, but it hurt even more when she said it. S
She loves me right? Yeah.

I sobbed for what felt like forever before it hit me.

She doesn't love you!

Then my mom's voice.

I knew I made a mistake the moment you two were born.

Then my voice.

They don't love you, but you can love yourself.

The only noise in the living room was my loud sobs. But then it was gradually replaced with silence and the occasional hiccup.
I sobbed quietly with my hand on my mouth. This is it. This is the end.

I'll never see my friends again. my hopes of a family are gone. And I might as well commit suicide because I'm pretty sure my life is done too.

The man might want me for many reasons; but with the way he looks it's probably nothing good.
My 'sister' just smirked and walked upstairs to her room while keeping eye contact with me. It was as if she was saying 'this family: mine. All the best is only for me so back off'

I gazed at her retreating figure with hurt in my eyes. The man started to approach me. Myeyes widened in fear as I kept mumbling mommy under my breath as the man approached me.

Staring at me like I was prey, the man slowly inched closer to me.

But all that my own mother did was glanced at me with disdain before glancing at the man. "I'm not your mommy anymore. This man is now your guardian. He was generous enough to buy you for ¥560,000! So now, what he says goes."
