--Death(2)--
Tw. Burning, death, screaming
~•~•~
Tommy sits in the corner of the room. It's been another day since Dream had brought him back to life again and neither of the two has talked since then.
Suddenly, Dream stands up from his place across from Tommy. The younger boy instantly panics, standing as well.
"Nonono, Dream, please, don't, please-" he's cut off by Dream grabbing his arm and dragging him towards the lava barrier.
"I want you to actually talk when you get back this time, Tommy, or we're gonna have problems." Dream says. Tommy struggles, yelling for anyone to hear him, to help him.
"PLEASE, DREAM, DON'T, PLEASE-"
Before he can struggle any more, Dream throws him into the lava.
Tommy feels his skin burning. He tries to scream but it only fills his mouth and insides with lava as well.
His skin burns and deteriorates and before he knows it, he's back in the dark hallway.
He squeezes his eyes shut and screams.
Tommy can still feel the burning of his skin.
He pulls at his hair, fearing for his life, or lack thereof.
Tommy can feel Wilbur and Schlatt trying to calm him down, their hands on his shoulders, but he can't hear anything.
He keeps screaming, the burning of his skin not stopping for anything.
It takes hours, maybe even days before Tommy stops screaming, before he lays quietly against a wall, staring at the one across from him.
He doesn't speak after the episode. Wilbur and Schlatt try to have him talk but to no avail. They try to come up with some sort of plan but nothing comes to mind.
Tommy is silent for his entire stay there before he feels himself being brought back.
He starts screaming again, making Wilbur and Schlatt run over. Tommy clings onto them.
"DON'T MAKE ME GO BACK, PLEASE, I DON'T WANNA GO BACK." He screams. Wilbur feels his heart drop and he holds Tommy closer.
The two older men try holding on to Tommy as tight as they can but the boy is still ripped back to life, leaving them to hold air in their grasps.
And for the first time in years, the elder men cried.

Tommy jolts awake, rapidly looking around before covering his ears and screaming, not wanting to listen to Dream.
He screams until his voice goes sore, until he can't even whisper.
Saying Dream didn't like this very much would be a complete understatement.
He was pissed.
