A/N: This is my first Origins SMP one shot! I got this idea from C01N on AO3. Specifically their one shot called "Snow day." All credit goes to them, go read it :) I don't know if Sneeg, Smajor and Slimecicle count as MCYT's but this is an MCYT + other's book so-

No one had expected the sudden snow to come in so quickly. Phil had told them to be careful if they were going outside, as the snow would come down quite heavily later. They expected it - but not for it to come so soon.

Jack and Scott were already inside, not feeling like going out unlike Tommy, Tubbo, Fundy, Sneegsnag and Wilbur who were on adventures. The rest besides Niki were no where to be found.

Jack had set up blankets, pillows - even seven hot chocolates and five coffees for them to warm themselves up with. He also got his hands ready and hot for those who needed to be warmed up or have snow melted off.

Soon, Ranboo burst through the door, shivering as snow flaked off his hair and shoulders. Jack rushed over. He made small 'vwoop' noises as some of the snow melted on his skin, leaving small burns and steam behind.

"There's hot chocolate on the table for you, make sure not to hog blankets either, enderman." He chuckled, easily melting the snow off the hybrid safely. Ranboo nodded, taking his black cape off, grabbing hot chocolate and sitting by Niki - who was in her newly heated tank.

Shortly after, none other than Philza had walked in. He shook his wings, getting the snow off them and onto the ground.

"Oh, mate," He chuckled, "It's cold out there." He watched as Jack walked over.

"There's a coffee waiting for you. No hogging blankets, either." Jack informed the elder, motioning around before he melted the remaining snow off.

"Phil!" Ranboo called him over, "Niki wants to fix your wings. They look a bit jostled up."

Phil nodded, quickly striding over to the others, sitting on the ground with his mug. Niki got out of the tank, missing the heat it gave off. She then started preening his wings and starting conversation.

In the midst of this happening, Scott had gotten up to get his own blanket and hot chocolate. He quickly returned to his seat with his book, taking sips occasionally as he emerged himself into the words.

Tommy and Tubbo barreled themselves - literally - through the door, both laughing obnoxiously. Jack huffed, annoyed they ruined the soft atmosphere that was set up. Then again, he walked near the clingy duo.

"No hogging blankets, hot chocolate is there with your names on it."

Ranboo had gotten up to start Tubbo clear, thin wings and straighten them, but he'd gotten too worried about his sharp claws and instead let Jack take over. Niki got to work with Tommy's little chicken (ptff-) feathers. Before she went back over her tank, she grabbed a hot chocolate to leave outside her door.

As much as she wanted to calmly float in her water and drink it slowly, she knew that it would just mix in and she'd have to ask Wilbur for new, clean water.

Next people to enter was Wilbur and Fundy. The two were out together on a adventure, sadly not finding anything.

Jack recited the "rules" and melted any snow off. Scott went over to Fundy to remove any snow out of his hair so it wouldn't be a pain in anyone's ass the next day. Fundy started making satisfied fox noises, making everyone giggle as the silence was broken. He huffed, annoyed he was being made fun of, but didn't say anything.

Fundy grabbed a blanket and snuggled (ew-) up in the nearest corner, falling asleep before he could start his hot chocolate.

Ranboo, Tommy, Tubbo and Wilbur followed his footsteps, soon falling asleep themselves. Ranboo and Tubbo on and air mattress that was blown up by Scott, Tommy next to Phil - who was calmly looking out at the sky and Wilbur leaned against Niki's tank as she talked about anything, even though she knew he was asleep. He never slept much as a phantom.

The two tiny men came in next through a crack they'd made, letting out very quiet giggles. Charlie didn't have any snow on him as it probably just got absorbed by his goop and Sneeg shivered a bit, climbing up the counter (Charlie bouncing) to grab their tiny coffees. They settled together at the foot of the air mattress with Ranboo and Tubbo, sharing the smallest blanket in the pile.

They fell asleep, mugs in hand before Jack came over to take them before they got spilt.

It was silent for a while, the only sounds being the soft breathing of those sleeping, Scott flipping a page of his book slowly - nearly falling asleep as he read, the heat shutting him down for the night. Niki's tank let a low rumble out as it stayed cold, the heater working to make sure the merling never got too cold.

It was peaceful amongst the chaos that happened daily. Fragrance Man had come back as a phantom somehow, though he had disappeared and not being seen since that day. (I haven't seen the full video therefore I have no clue what happened/how he left lmao)

After a rough ten minutes, the newest found member walked in, shivering like a blizzard. He was not meant for this weather. The poor bunny hybrid barely managed to take off his cape and hang it up, Jack having to help - much to his protest.

"Fuck- mate lemme get you the last coffee. Why were you outside?" Phil said, letting his father instincts take over as he tended to Technoblade.

"I needed material." Techno stated, his nose and ears twitching, "Forgot the snow was gonna come in so hard."

Phil tossed a blanket and gently gave him a coffee, Techno nodding in appreciation as he shook and made himself smaller in a corner. It was scary how he could go from a threatening and tall rabbit to a small, shivering bunny in a corner.

It was quite wholesome though, if you were awake to see it like Phil, Jack and Niki. (Scott got knocked out..asleep not decked-)

Techno managed to take a few sips, deciding he was too tired to continue drinking. He let his head lean against the wall and his breathing slowed. His ears went from a tall stand, to flopping over his eyes, rising and falling like his chest did as he breathed normally. His feet (sorry but I dunno the name for a bunny's legs/feet) lightly thumping on the floor quickly in short intervals as he dreamt. Phil and Niki couldn't help but 'aw' at the anarchist bunny. (That sentence I stg lmao)

"Alright, I'm going to check everyone over then head to sleep myself. You lot settle down as well." Jack said, taking a walk around with his own nearly empty hot chocolate in hand. Phil and Niki nodded, Niki placing her cup outside again and Phil moving Tommy to nestle him under his wing. Tommy hummed sleepily at the warm feathers.

Jack looked over everyone finding Wilbur asleep calmly, Niki resting right next to him on the other side of the glass, Tubbo and Ranboo looking warm together as they cuddled (I hate that) - Sneeg and Charlie doing the same. Fundy was cocooned in his corner, sound asleep and Jack grabbed Scott's book and mug from his limp hands so nothing bad would happen to either object.

Tommy was peacefully asleep against Phil, breathing softly. Jack couldn't help but smile at the calm look on the blonde's face. Calm Tommy was one of a kind and he cherished it.

He lastly made his way to Techno, who was still lightly holding onto his mug - which Jack grabbed - and making low rumbling noises. Jack chuckled to himself, standing up straight. He watched as Techno's chest, and ears, rose as he breathed steadily.

Jack sighed, grabbing his own blanket. In reality, he didn't need it, but he wanted to have one anyways. He went over to the small nether section of the Pub(e), setting down in one of the mini lava holes. The blanket he had was specially made and fire resistant, so he didn't worry about it burning to a crisp as he slept.

He relaxed his body and fell into a deep slumber like everyone else.

Snow days didn't happen often, but everyone took hold of them, making the most of it. They brought them all together for a calming moment. The chaos achieved daily was a lot, but moments like these they all loved and wished to have more of.

It was peaceful, and they all couldn't wait for the indoor festivities that awaited them tomorrow.

End A/N: Look at me go!! I pushed out this chapter in about thirty minutes! It's currently 2:02am and i have to wake up for school in four hours! Anyways, I'll probably post this after school because yeahhhh but uh, I might do more Origin's stuff! This was super fun! Remember to check out C01N as they were the inspo from AO3.
