Witches vs wolves
Erik
Martin came back after dropping off Ana and told us what he felt. If it was one things about wolves we could sense an enemy any time we came into contact with them. What he told us made sense but I wanted to find out myself.
I stuck close to Ana. Her guard was up, causing her wolf side to emerge and a battle to rage. This was never good when a wolf wanted to emerge but was kept from doing so
Saturday arrived and I went to go see her. I knocked on the front door and her mother answer. That's when I sensed it. Witch. Martin was right.
She looked at me as she crossed her arms.
"Is Ana here," I asked her.
"Yes, but you aren't invited in, wolf," she said firmly.
I looked at her, "does your daughter know her mother a witch," I asked with equal disdain. The truth is I knew her mother was a witch and we were natural born enemies. How she ended up with a wolf is beyond me.
"My daughter doesn't need to know that and you will not tell her that," she ordered me.
I looked at her eye level as my eyes changed to a burnt orange, "you won't keep me from my mate." Her mother promptly dropped her arms and looked at me stunned.
"You're an alpha," she whispered.
"Yes."
"You chose my daughter as your mate?"
"I didn't chose her. My wolf did," I said to her.
"If your wolf wouldn't have chosen her, would you want my daughter," she asked me honestly.
"No," I responded.
"What?" I heard Ana asked as I looked past her mother at me. I looked at her.
She walked towards me, "you only want me because you of your wolf."
I watched as her expression turned to hurt.
"Yes," I spoke truthfully.
She turned to her mother, "How did you know he was a wolf? You know what, never mind. I don't want to know and please go away," she said to me.
"Ana."
"You will never have me," she said as she turned and walked away as my inner wolf howled. My Luna was rejecting me.
"Your wolf may have chosen my daughter but she still feels hurt that you would have never wanted her if it wasn't for it. Please stay away from my daughter," she said stepping back as she closed the door on me.
This sent my alpha into a fury as I turned and got back into my car. I pulled out of there and peeled away.

I went back into my room and stayed there. It was nice to know, that if Erik was normal he would have never chosen me. Well, now I didn't want him.
All weekend I stayed in my room while my friends tried to talk to me. I didn't feel like talking to anyone. I was dealing with rejection in the worst possible form. The worst part was come Monday morning I had to see him. Great.
Monday morning arrived and I went to school. I walked inside and over to my locker. I opened it and put my stuff away and grabbed my books. I closed the door and yelped.
Erik was standing there, looking rough.
"Ana."
"Don't," I put my hand up, stopping him.
"Please." He begged me.
"You know what hurts, it's the fact that you know a guy like you would never want someone like me. What's worse is knowing you're right. Thanks for reinforcing my insecurities," I said as I walked around him, leaving him standing there.
He hauled off and punched a locker, placing a king size dent in it.
The problem was I was making my Luna reject his alpha and didn't know it. His alpha was crying for my Luna and not getting a response back. The more my Luna rejected him, the more aggressive his alpha would become unless something changed.

I wish I would have never said anything. My alpha was becoming more aggressive and wanting its Luna. I regretted saying anything. The truth was there was something about Ana besides all this that had made me liked her.
Because of my alpha, I was able to get to know her. I know it sounds ridiculous but it was the truth. If I had been normal, I don't think we would have ever met because I would have never came here. The truth was I wasn't normal. I was a wolf in need of his Luna, my mate.
I became more aggressive and howled in pain as I was unable to control my alpha who longed for his Luna. The minute our lips connected, I could feel the connection between us. Her Luna yearned for my alpha but something was stopping it. It was like a battle was raging.
Right now, I was lost. I needed her and she refused me. At one point I took off. Martin went after me while dad and my sisters stayed behind. With me gone, it left the others vulnerable which left them ripe for the picking. If Martin couldn't convince me to return, our family would be slaughtered without my knowledge.

I knew Erik was suffering due to his alpha being rejected by his Luna. When a wolf chooses a mate, the mate is the only one that control him. Right now, there was no control. I sent Martin to make sure he didn't do anything rash.
I needed to figure out how to fix this situation and figure out how we missed the fact his mate was a hybrid. It was unusual for someone like us to be a hybrid. Ana was part wolf and part witch. I saw it when she was at our house.
The problem with a hybrid is, if they didn't learn how to control both parts it would ultimately kill them. Right now both were fighting for dominance and the Luna has rejected the alpha.
I needed to pay her a visit. I was hoping by speaking with her, I could convince her what she thought wasn't true. That Erik would haven chosen her, no matter what.
I pulled up in front of a house and got out of my car. I walked up to the front door and knocked. A woman answered.
"You must be Ana's Mother," I said to her.
"Yes. Who are you," she asked me.
"Christian Monroe. Erik's father," I spoke taken her aback.
She looked at me guarded but I never broke eye contact.
"May I speak with you? It's of up most importance," I declared as she nodded and relented, allowing me into her home.
At this point, if I couldn't convince her, not only would my family suffer but she would lose her daughter. Let's hope this works.
