Ana

Christian examined me, then had Erik and Martin bring in a machine. He turned on the device and pressed a wand to my stomach. I looked at the screen as something appeared, then disappeared. I did a double-take as it appeared again.

Christian moved the wand around as the thing flipped then disappeared.

"What is that?" I asked as the thing appeared and disappeared.

"A baby," Christian whispered, shocking me.

"Say what?" I asked.

"It seems you have a supernatural baby, who doesn't want us to see it," Christian said as we watched electricity travel to the machine and short it out.

I looked at my stomach as it moved, then stopped.

"Damn, bro, I didn't know you wanted to be a daddy," Martin joked.

We looked at Martin as Christian stood up. He ordered the others to separate rooms to examine them. Erik sat down on the bed as I pushed myself up.

"That explains your need for constant sex," Erik mentioned as I rolled my eyes.

"I haven't graduated yet. I have some wolf and entity trying to off me. Now I'm pregnant. Does that seem normal to you?" I questioned.

"No, but it doesn't mean it's terrible," Erik reasoned.

I sighed.

"Are you freaking kidding me?" Martin yelled.

Erik and I looked at each other and scrambled out of bed. Martin banged his head against the wall as Madison looked confused. Brady has an enormous grin on his face. We joined the others as the girls emerged.

"From the look on everyone's faces, I would say the mating season was a magical time," I remarked as everyone looked at me strangely. "But I do have one question. How did Kira get pregnant?" I asked.

"Oh, it seems when Martin decided to plant his seed in Alex, one of the babies found another home," Kira huffed.

"Can babies do that?" I questioned.

"When you're part of the Gemini coven, you can," Alex answered.

Well, okay then. I sighed, then felt the urge to eat. I went downstairs and pulled out food. I started eating everything on the counter. The others came down and watched me devour food. I finished as I belched.

"Wow," Martin said as Erik rolled his eyes.

Erik walked over to me.

"I was a little hungry," I mentioned as Erik looked at all the empty containers. I snapped my fingers and made a milkshake appear. I sipped on it as everyone watched me.

"What just happened?" Erik asked.

"I don't know. I wanted a milkshake and snapped my fingers, making it appear," I mentioned, sipping the shake.

I had a feeling this pregnancy would be unique.

Erik

I stood there, watching Ana sip her milkshake.

"Doesn't it freak you out how calm Ana is acting?" Martin whispered.

"Yes, it freaks me out. All of this freaks me out," I whispered back.

Ana's powers are tied to her emotions. I don't know much about pregnancy, but I'm sure I'm in deep shit if she feels upset.

We heard a knock, and Dad answered the door as Riley carried Elena inside, who held a piece of meat in her mouth. He set her down as she kept eating.

"Would someone explain to me why my girlfriend went hunting?" Riley asked.

Martin and I looked at the meat and realized it's fresh. Then we heard a growl as we looked to see the wolf from New Year's Eve standing outside bearing its teeth.

Ana set her drink down, looking annoyed. She swiveled around in her chair and stood up. "Oh, look, someone wants to play," she announced as she changed into wolf form and lunged towards the other wolf. My alpha emerged as I changed and went after her. I jumped through the window and landed as I stood opposite of Ana.

The other wolf snarled and snapped as I lunged at it, chomping down on its neck. We fought as my pack emerged, attacking the lone wolf. April stood in front of Ana, protecting her as the wolf went after April until Brady fired a shot, hitting the wolf and dropping it.

We back up as Brady walked over and shoved a knife into the wolf's heart, killing it.

"Erik, Martin, Madison, April, and Riley," dad yelled, tossing clothes to us. We shifted back to human form and dressed. Dad threw me clothes as I walked over to Ana as she turned around to human form. I shielded her as she dressed.

We watched the wolf changed as Dad emerged from the house and furrowed his brows.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"My father," dad whispered.

We looked at the man lying on the ground, dead. Martin and I looked at each other. I went into the house and made my way downstairs to the basement. I unlocked the door and entered the cage. Azeral got to his knees and stared at me.

"Who sent you?" I questioned.

Azeral looked at me, saying nothing.

I changed into wolf form and bore my teeth as I snapped at Azeral, who back up. I slowly stepped towards him as he dropped to his knees and shook.

"Okay! I'll tell you!" Azeral screamed.

I growled.

"Tempus sent me!" Azeral shouted.

I backed up and turned, leaving the cell. I wanted to rip Azeral apart, but I chose to see my mate.

Christian

As an alpha, we make choices regarding our pack. Erik chose to protect his mate.

I entered the cell as I stared at Azeral in disbelief. "You never change. Your lies will be your downfall," I responded.

"Tempus gave me no choice. I deliver the hybrid to him or suffer a fate worst than death, unfathomable darkness," Azeral declared.

"We all have choices, and you chose wrong. Father was right when he chose me as Alpha. Alphas protect their packs, sacrificing themselves. We allow no one to harm our mates. If you were an alpha, you would understand that. Asia rejected you because she knew you weren't her alpha," I said as Azeral stared at me.

My Luna died because she veered off from the pack to protect our children. I didn't make it in time to prevent her death. I never forgave myself and stepped down as Alpha.

"I need a powerful witch," I announced as I stood there.

"What are you doing, brother?" Azeral questioned.

"You aren't my brother," I replied.

I waited as Ana, and the twin's mothers arrived.

"Send Azeral to the prison world where he shall live out his remaining years alone," I instructed.

The witches united and chanted as I walked away. My family betrayed me, proving their loyalty never existed. I hoped to change that with my family.

Ana

I sat on the couch, feeling drained. Erik walked over to me and sat down next to me.

"What happened to your uncle?" I asked.

"I don't know, and I don't care. I walked away before I ripped Azeral apart," Erik answered.

I looked at Erik as he looked at me.

"Why did you go out there?" Erik questioned.

"I don't know, but I felt this need to protect us," I replied, unsure of my decision.

"Do you think the baby had anything to do with it?" Erik asked.

I thought about it, but I couldn't remember. I felt like I lost time. "I don't remember," I said as Erik looked at me with concern.

I sat on the couch, perplexed about the pregnancy. I saw my mom walk over and sit down in a chair near us.

"Christian told us about the pregnancies," my mom mentioned.

I looked at my mom, feeling ashamed.

"We're not mad because we knew it was a possibility when you mated," my mom reasoned.

"People will talk," I mentioned.

"That's why we decided to have all of you finish school here. A high school full of humans isn't ideal for supernaturals. As you embrace your new identities, you put humans at risk. They will hunt you because they don't understand our world," my mom explained.

Alex and Kira's mom joined us. "The Tempest coven has abused their powers and became a nuisance to the supernatural world. They create discord amongst species disallowing them to exist in harmony. We had enough of their meddling ways," Phoebe told us.

"I'm confused about something," I mentioned.

"What's that, hun?" My mom asked.

"Everyone says that I conceived the first time Erik and I mated, but I didn't feel different. This week I felt my body radiate heat and couldn't stop it, making me desire him all the time," I said, looking at my mom with confusion.

My mom held up her hand, and a light glowed as my stomach glowed. Then she stopped and looked at me strangely.

"Something is making the gestation of the baby to speed up," my mom mentioned.

We all looked at each other as I lifted my shirt to see a small bump. Whoa, that wasn't there this morning.

"Ana, did anything peculiar happen to you?" My mom asked.

"No," I answered, forgetting what happened the other night.

We all looked at each other as we ventured into uncharted territory with my surprise pregnancy. It didn't help. We have some homicidal entity hunting us. My mother and Phoebe decided to put us on lockdown until after the children arrived. It would take other covens to protect us as Tempus made his way to me. It would bring forth an unexpected person from the past, tying us to a world we never expected - the Dreamweaver world.
