When Optimus and Arcee got back to the Autobot base they realized that Smokescreen wasn't behind them. They knew that Dreadwing had most likely captured him. You however weren't happy that you were taken from your guardian.

"Why did you take me away from Dreadwing?" You asked the femme.

"Because he was holding you prisoner." Arcee said.

"Yes I know. But it was only because he thought that I would tell the government about you guys." You told her.

"Your government already knows of our existence." Optimus said.

"Oh." You said as you avoided making eye contact with anyone.

After a while the Autobots all introduced themselves and you told them your name. Then Optimus told you how the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons started. He also told you how the Decepticons wanted to destroy Earth. You were surprised that he told you that he had invited Dreadwing to join the Autobots. You then got an idea.

When Dreadwing called the Autobots he wanted to exchange Smokescreen for you. You had somehow convinced Optimus that you could change Dreadwing's mind about becoming good. After Ratchet opened a groundbridge Arcee took you back through the groundbridge. When you saw Dreadwing you also saw that he had Smokescreen in energon cuffs.

"I will return your team mate to you if you return the human to me." Dreadwing said boldly.

Arcee carefully put you on the ground and you walked to Dreadwing. Then Dreadwing let Smokescreen walk through the groundbridge with Arcee. Then he carefully picked you up, transformed around you and took of towards the Nemesis.
