Eliezer Wiesel
Behold Eliezer Wiesel. I think this is how he looked like during his time at the holocaust, when he was in one of the concentration camps. I figured that this would be a good cover for the book Night. Since it's only bar wires and dust. This illustration represents the pain and suffering of the prisoners inside the camp when they got inside for the first time when woman, men, and children looked strong and healthy.
.
This was also inspired by one of his quotes.
.
"Never shall I forget that night, the first night in camp, which has turned my life into one long night, seven times cursed and seven times sealed. Never shall I forget that smoke. Never shall I forget the little faces of the children, whose bodies I saw turned into wreaths of smoke beneath a silent blue sky." -Eliezer Wiesel
And in his last few chapters a violin playing Beethoven. That was another thing that moved me. Who would of thought that one of his music would be a part of a huge scar for someone like Elie? Even tho the tittle music wasn't mentioned I figured that Moonlight Sonata would most likely be the one that was played.
