When you draw something, you probably expect it to be a masterpiece (probably?.....maybe?......no? It's just me? Ok, sorry then. For get about this chapter. 😶) You think that when you draw the picture or paint or whatever, it's gonna be EXACTLY like how you planned it.

Well, I'm sorry to say this, but...

nope.

Just nope.

When you expect something in your head to come out just like the photo or idea in your head, I don't really think it will. You need A LOT. I mean A LOT of practice. If you haven't practiced A LOT, you will probably need to give it a few tries, or just deal with how it turned out.

Please don't torture yourself just about one nail on a finger or something you didn't get right.

Oh and, PLEASE DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF TO SOMEONE AMAZING AT DRAWING. If you do that, your self esteem will probably go down. We don't want that. At all. If you think that way, you'll think everything you do is bad, and you will probably throw it away or something.
I have a friend that thinks EXACTLY like that. She is AMAZING at drawing cartoons, anime, that sort of stuff. Yet she rips it, scribbles on it, or throws it away. AND ITS SO GOOD. IF SOMEONE SAW IT, THEY'DE BE LIKE 'I WANT THAT!'

But back to the comparing, DO YOU THINK PEOPLE WILL POST SOMETHING THAT THEY THINK LOOKS LIKE POOP??? No. I don't think they will. Unless they are real Brave. I would never do that. Everyone draws badly SOMETIMES, and other times THEY DRAW REALLY GOOD. Just understand most people don't post art they hate. They pretty much only post stuff they like. So I'm pretty much saying don't compare yourself to someone's favourite piece. It's BAD MANNNN.

Everyone has different levels of drawing or art and that. Nobody can just be awesome in one day of trying.

But just one thing. DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERSSSSSSSS. PLLLLEEEAAASSSEEEEE. IM BEGGING YOUUUUUUU.
