I don't like most of the left part of the drawing :/

 He's part of a group of nomads (which is mainly made up of women) who make money by dancing and by making jewelry and clothes (and selling them of course). Boys aren't often born into their uhhh tribe? group? so they don't bother changing their basic dances and trades too much. The males often dance "as female" until they can't pass as female anymore lol
