三十二: Not You
The sun glared mercilessly down as Hong Kong and Samantha trudged around the market. Both of them were sweating hard, their shirts sticking to their backs.
China had made them buy groceries for him because apparently he had something "important" to do, which apparently was lounging back at home with the comfort of the air conditioning.
He had won the arguments with his "superior age", and that the younger people should take care of their elders. Since no one else was going to buy food, the two had to go out in the burning heat.
Samantha wiped away the moisture forming on the bridge of her nose. They would make him pay.
Hong Kong handed her a small, portable fan. They were the summer trends in Hong Kong last year and were quite cheap, but Samantha didn't have the time to buy one.
She thanked him, taking the fan and turning it on.
After buying the all items on the list that China had given them, they started to head back.
Samantha groaned. "Why is Hong Kong always so hot in the summer?" she muttered.
Hong Kong shot her a sideways glance, his lips turning up into a smirk.
"Why thank you, Sam." He wiggled his eyebrows.
The girl punched his arm playfully. "Oh my goodness, not you!" she cried, starting to laugh.
"What, am I not?" he questioned, striking a pose.
"I really do wonder what happens in that mind of yours."
