I have written four oneshots based off of the four versions of the Magpie Rhyme, all of which are being published today, June 11, 2020

The four versions are:

One for sorrow,
Two for mirth,
Three's a wedding,
Four's a birth,
Five is Heaven,
Six is Hell,
Seven is the Devil himself.

Four for birth.
Five for heaven,
Six for hell,
Seven for the Devil, his own self.

One for sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy,
Five for silver,
Six for gold,
Seven for a secret,
Never to be told.
Eight for a wish,
Nine for a kiss,
Ten for a bird,
You must not miss.
Eleven is worse,
Twelve is for a dastardly curse

One for sorrow,

Ten a surprise you should be careful not to miss.
