Marry Me (Edited)
A/N=So this picture was supposed to be the cover for this story, but it didn't fit right. And since my daughter spent so much time on it for me, I decided to use it as the picture for this story. Please remember to vote!
Hermione and Draco had dated for years during their time at Hogwarts, one of Draco's favorite memories came during the couples fourth year. It had been a warm day for this time of the year, and everyone was taking advantage of it, Draco included as he took a hold of his girlfriend's hand and the two had walked down by the Black Lake where he had sat up a picnic for them. They held hands and talked as they ate Draco had always loved the fact that they could just sit together and talk about everything, regardless of its important and this had been one of those conversation as she asked him "What do you think that our wedding will be like?" Draco had been stunted at first wondering what had brought this up, he'd be lying if he said he hadn't thought about it, he even had already picked out and purchased the perfect ring for her, not that he was going to tell her this yet. "I imagine that it will be a Christmas wedding, as that's when both our House colors would look best together, also you will be in the most beautiful dress anyone has ever seen. Only it won't be white, as I plan on taking your virginity and giving you mine long before that day comes." Draco says half jokingly earning him a playful slap on the arm, followed by a passionate kiss, after a few minutes she pulled away smiling, waiting for him to continue, his thoughts.
Then during Sixth year Draco's father had given him no choice but to follow in his footsteps and take Voldemort's side, he even became a Death Eater. Knowing that there was no way that he and Hermione could stay together, and he'd been right because when Hermione found out what he'd done she dumped him, which Draco knew was for the best. Then she took off with Harry and Ron to look for the Horcruxes, that the Dark Lord had hidden, the fact that she was gone broke Draco's heart, thus making him realize the error of his ways, so he decided to join the Order of the Phoenix, convincing Blaise to come with him had been easy, once they were in everyone wanted to know what had made them change sides? Draco told everyone that it was because he wanted to rid the world of the Dark Lord, and that wasn't a lie but thanks to Blaise's big mouth a few of the younger members like Ginny, the twins, and Luna knew the other (or real) reason why he'd switched sides. Which had been so that he could try and get his girlfriend back, Draco and Blaise had been with the Order for a few months when Ginny asked "What if Hermione doesn't take you back?" Draco's honest reply was "That would absolutely SUCK! But at least I'll still know that the right side won! But I really hope that seeing that I've made the right decision will win back her affections."
A few days later the Golden Trio returned home, only for Draco to learn that the only girl he'd ever truly loved, had fallen in love with her best friend. At some point over the year the three of them had been gone Hermione and Harry started to date, and were now engaged to be married, the day had been set for the upcoming Spring, just in case the other side won. This way the happy couple could at least say that they'd been together. One night just after Christmas Draco had come from his room to get a drink, this was when he found Ginny, Luna, and Mrs. Weasley seating at the table watching as his ex tried on different wedding dresses, he wanted to laugh when he realized that none of them were white, and he wondered if it was because of their past, (conversation included) or if she and Harry had already... this thought brought tears to his eyes as Draco didn't want to think about her sharing a bed with another man. Draco couldn't stop staring at her, as she looked so beautiful in the light blue dress that Ginny said was her favorite, Hermione just smiled as she said "It's mine too, as Harry's favorite color is blue."' Draco couldn't stand there any longer and went back to his room, forgetting all about his thirst. Draco spent the next day in his room avoiding everyone, trying to decide if he wanted to try and talk the girl out of what would be the happiest day of her life, but at the end of the day he knew that he just couldn't do that to her. Since he could see just how happy Harry made her, this of course made him wonder if she had ever been this happy with him? deep down he knew that had he not been so quick to make the worst decision of his life, that it would be him that she was walking down that aisle towards in a few days.
It was the big day, in a few short hours his Granger would become Mrs. Harry Potter, he had been attempting to just hide out in his room all day, when Blaise and Ginny come to check on him, "Mate, why are you not dressed?" the other Slytherin boy asked his friend "Because I'm not going, I cannot just sit back and watch as my dream girl gets married to someone else!" Draco said wiping tears from his eyes, he hoped that the couple in his room hadn't seen, of course Ginny had as she said "Look Draco, I know this must suck for you, but you're going to this wedding. It's just up to you if you go willingly or if I drag you down there." He knew that the young female Weasley would do exactly what she'd said, and since he did not want to cause a scene, and ruin Hermione and Harry's day he decided to go willingly, getting on his black suit and black tie then meeting the his friends at the bottom of the stairs, to follow them out to the backyard. This is where he found a chair as far out of the way as possible to hide in the back, as he sipped on his second shot of Fire Whiskey he watched as the Weasley twins did some last minute adjustments like magical turning the Magnolias from white to Gryffindor red and gold while he noticed that Neville looked almost as miserable as he felt placed them on the beautifully set tables.
Harry Potter loved Hermione with his whole heart, and when they'd been away and he'd asked her to marry him it was truly what he wanted. But being back with his adopted family and friends, he began to realize that maybe this wedding wasn't the best idea, as he had already been in love with someone else, and he knew that this person loved him as well. The problem was that the person Harry lived told him that hurting Hermione wasn't something that would be expectable, plus it was probably for the best that he married her, since nobody knew about their secret relationship, and as much as it broke Harry's heart he was going to do as his lover wanted. That was until a few hours before the event when Harry had been in his room getting ready and he heard the door creek open. Then he felt a pair of muscled arms that couldn't possibly belong to his future wife wrap around his waist, Harry spins around so that he was facing his lover, staring into the man's beautiful green eyes which were slightly red and puffy from where he'd been crying, seeing his lover looking so sad made Harry feel like his heart was being ripped out. But he wasn't going to come out and say it so instead he asked "My Love, Why do you look so sad? I thought that this was what you wanted?" "I thought so too, but the more I think about it, the more upset I become! I know that I said this was for the best, but what if..." before the man could even finish his sentence Harry's lips were on his kissing them soundly. As they kissed Harry felt Neville's manhood growing hard against his thighs, it had been so long since Harry touched him, that he didn't even think about it as he quickly started to undo Neville's dress pants and slide his hand around his thick cock, causing Neville moans out Harry name in his ear. As he pushes Harry back onto the bed, he began working on taking Harry out of his dress pants which didn't take long, and soon the two man were on the bed touching and kissing like they used too. They had been so caught up in their love making, that they hadn't even heard the door open...
Hermione had loved Harry for as long as she could remember, but not like this, when he had asked her to marry him? and she said "Yes!" she had meant it, but then they came home. And she found out that Draco had changed sides, having to see him every day, and not be with him was the absolute hardest thing that she'd ever had to do. It was then that she realized she still loved him, and to hear her best friends tell it he still loved her too, and that winning her back was the main reason he'd went against his father. "Shouldn't he have done it because he wanted the right side to win?" Hermione asked. "Yeah, but he's a guy, and they don't always think with the right head." Ginny says as Luna said "I don't think it's about using his head, but his heart. And without you it's just not the same." Of course the girls weren't the only one to tell Hermione things similar to this, it got to the point where she had to avoid him at all cost, as every time she seen him all she could think about was all the things that everyone had told her. Not to mention the fact that her own memories had begun floating around in her head, and clouding her judgment. So it made sense that on the day of her wedding, she woke up with second thoughts, however she knew that cold feet was natural part of life, and planned to ignore this and go about her day. She had been up had her morning coffee and shower, she even had her dress on when for some reason she felt the need to look out the window, which had been a mistake. Because from her room she could not only see the whole backyard and all of the hard work that her second family had put into her special day, but she could also see Draco looking absolutely gorgeous in his suit and tie that she had gotten him for his last birthday when they were together. She had been so caught up in watching her ex that she hadn't even heard Ginny come in to do her hair and makeup Ginny walked up to see what her best friend was looking at, seeing it was Draco and that her best friend had tears in her eyes, Ginny tells her "Maybe you should go talk to Harry, not knowing that she was sending Hermione to find him in a very interesting way. Hermione knew that Ginny was right, and she had to be honest with him so she took Ginny's advice and went to Harry's room, outside of the door Hermione could hear her future husbands moaning, which made her curious enough to walk in without knocking, and this was when she seen Harry bent over the bed, being screwed by a taller guy. She wanted to be mad, but all she could do was laugh, this caught the attention of the two man and they both turned their heads to see who was laughing, Hermione just smiled at Neville as he looked so embarrassed, while Harry quickly says "Hermione, I'd love to say that this isn't what it looks like, but I am not going to lie. As you can clearly see that it is what it looks like, I am SO sorry! I thought that..." Hermione, just smiles at them, as she said "It's FINE!! I had came to tell you that as much as I love you, cannot go through with this as I am still in loved with Draco." Now it was Harry's turn to smile, as he tells her "Give me a few minutes and I'll go talk to him for you." "Okay!" Hermione says leaving the room so that the guys could finish up, as she walked back to her room she had the biggest smile on her face and she hadn't been paying attention to where she was going. Causing her to bump into someone which made her fall backwards, except that she never hit the floor instead a pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist, making her look up and into the stormy grey eyes of Draco.
Draco didn't care what Ginny said or how many ways she could hex him into next year, he couldn't sit here and watch as the woman he loves married someone else. He had been heading back to his room when he felt someone hit him hard, not thinking about what he was doing he reached out to keep his attacker from hitting the floor, when he finally looked down to see who he'd be yelling at, all the words just died on his tongue as he seen that he was holding the most beautiful woman in his arms once again. It took him a minute but he finally finds his voice only to stupidly calls Hermione by the nickname he'd given her years ago, he quickly changed it to what her name would be in less than an hour "Mines... I mean , Mrs. Potter, I am so sorry. I don't see you there." Hermione loved the fact that even though he'd called her by her almost married name, he still had his arms wrapped around her waist she wanted to tell him that she was still his, but stopped as Harry had told her that he wanted to talk to Draco for her, and she figured that she'd give Harry that so Hermione said nothing, and instead just stood wrapped in his arms enjoying the fact that she could hear his heart beating in his chest as he slowly ran his eyes up and down her body, it wasn't until he leaned down to whisper in her ear "You look absolutely breath taking!" then suddenly his lips were on hers. When he pulled away a few minutes later Draco's first thought was to apologize by saying "I am so sorry, I don't know what came over me! But I just had to do that one last time." she could feel him starting to pull away, which if she was being honest was the last thing that she ever wanted, not knowing how to stop his actions she did the only thing she could think of to keep him where he was. Which was to grab him by his collar and kissed him passionately, this kiss lasted until they were both pulling away from being out of breath. It was like magic because as Hermione looks up she seen that Harry standing behind them, with a big smile on his face. Walking up behind Draco and taping his shoulders, when Draco turns around to find Harry standing there he felt horrible so he said "Look Potter, I'm sorry for kissing your wife, it's my fault! I'll go now." "Actually Draco, I was hoping to talk to you before we..." Harry says leading the blonde man down the hallway and explained that as much as he and into his room, before pointing out the window and saying "Hermione and I love each other, but we have realized that this isn't what we what. I know that you are still in love her, just like she still loves you so. So I was wondering if you'd do me a favor and marry my best friend? I mean The Weasley have already done so much work at putting this beautiful event together, and I'd hate for it to go to waste!" Draco was stunned to say the least as he asked the man who he thought was his enemy "Are you serious?" "Absolutely! Unless of course you..." before Harry could finish his sentence Draco was hugging him saying "Potter, you have no idea how much I owe you right now!" and then Draco was gone. "Well what did he say?" Hermione was asking Harry as Draco came running back towards them holding a ring in his hand, as he got down on one knee he said "Hermione Jean Granger, you have no idea how many times I have dreamt about this. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" Hermione had tears in her eyes as she whispered "Yes!" watching as Draco slipped a beautiful ring on her finger, Harry was now curious how the other man had gotten a ring so fast so he asked "Draco where did that come from?" Hermione too was wondering about this as she looked down at the now expensive Diamond ring on her finger. "Forth year!" Draco says breathlessly taking her hand in his as they made their way into the backyard, Draco noticed out the corner of his eyes that the whole weddings colors had been changed as if someone knew this was going to happen. And the only person he could think of that would have seen this coming was now wearing a shit eating grin as she mouthed a quick "Your Welcome!"
A/N= So due to all of the crazy things going on in the world right now, my job is CRAZY stressful and voices have taken a vacation, so instead of working on a new chapter for this book I have decided to make edits instead. Please read or reread and let me know what you think.
