So you wanna know the difference between right and wrong?

The human heart decides that

So that leaves the question

What makes the heart?

What someone considers to be light

Might be the darkest of dark to someone else

To want only light
Without ever knowing the dark

I can't do that

Not till I figure it out

A pink parrot flies above a large doam, then the city next to it, people were going about there day, some minding their own business, some outdoors, some indoors

In a shop called junk shop mediocrity

Just then the phone started ringing, the guy at the front desk picked up the phone "Thanks for calling Junk Shop Mediocrity. How can I help you today?" He paused, "Yeah. Yeah. We've got a bunch of those in stock actually. Would you like to get one from us? Hello? What? My voice?" Ren perked his ears up and lifted his head.

Aoba groaned softly, "That's awfully nice of you to say," Trying to sound nice, "But yeah, we've got those parts you're looking for. The S type. We've actually got a special going right now. You want to place an order? Sounds good. Thank you very much. I just need a credit card number to hold the order for you." He got the number and after saying goodbye, he finally hung up, putting the phone back in its holder.

"Aoba. Let me guess. You got another compliment on your voice?" Ren asked, who was lying on a stool. "Yeah. Seriously. I don't get what the big deal with my voice is anyway." Aoba leaned back in his seat, enlacing his fingers behind his head

"It's getting people to place orders. So lighten up, will you?"

"Yeah, I hear what your saying, little buddy. It just started getting a little weird...when guys said it."

Aoba's watch began to chime a ringtone. "Aoba. You got mail." Ren stated. "Right." Aoba clicked his watch to see his mail. The screen popped up, allowing him to see the message.

Suddenly, the door opened. "You're open! Hiya!" A voice suddenly yelled.

a kid struck Aoba on the head with a kendo stick at the same time he touched his watch He groaned with pain.

"Ow! Y--You little freakin' brats!" Aoba cried.

"You're just as weak as you've ever been, Aoba!" Mio said

"You got to be tough." Kio added. "Hey, that's my line! How many times do I have to tell you not to play around here, damn it? Do I need to get a kendo stick of my own, you brat?" Aoba threatened

"I'm scared! I guess I should leave right now." Mio said sarcastically, holding Ren and squeezing his body, just enough to move his legs around.  "Please, stop." Ren begged.

"Yo, what's that?" One of the boys asked.  "I'm not sure." The other replied.  "Idiots," Aoba said. His watch chimed as it sent his response, "Whoa! I didn't tell it to send. I didn't just pick up some sort of trojan or something, did I?"

"Were you watching porn on your watch?" Nao asked

"Of course not."  Aoba glared

The door opened and the owner of the store, Mr. Haga, walked in, a box in hand.  "Hello there, Aoba, Finally made it back." He stated.  "Hey, welcome back, boss." Aoba greeted

"Yeah, I'm sorry it took me so long to get here. Well, now, look who's here," He looked at the three kids, "The wild things are visiting." The kids smiled, chuckling.

. Mr. Haga chuckled.  "Hey, can you do something for me? Sorry to ask, but could you take this package to Delivery Works? I'd take it myself, but you know how things are."

"Sure thing. I'm out."

Aoba grabbed his bag and placed Ren and the package in it, then began to walk out.  "You sure do weigh a lot, Kio." Mio stated.  "You guys be careful up there." Aoba said, before letting the door close.

Inside the kids while piling on each other to climb on the shelf "hey hey! It's not safe for you guys!" Mr haga exclaimed " your gonna get hurt playing around like that!"

They continue to ignore him " come on you guys!" He pleaded

" hey you! Shut your face!" Kio yelled

" shut up you bald eagle!" Follow by nao

Which he flinched

" what did you just say?...."

Aoba stopped, "Hm? You'd think those kids would learn not to say that."

the last thing he hears was " you  little punks!" Along with screaming kids

He walked on.  "So, how do we get to Delivery Works today?" Aoba asked Ren. Ren began to scan the area.  "Formulating recommendation. East 423rd street is closed for inspection. And with several buses out of service...Your best bet is going to be the North terminal."

"Thanks. Works for me."

"All in a day's work."

Aoba an came to a stop at the end of a sidewalk, just before the crosswalk, as a transparent sign popped up saying 'stop'. As he waited, they looked around, seeing the large transparent screen of the news and the ad of the new Allmate, with all these new upgrades and so on.

Aoba didn't look interested in getting the new Allmate "Hey! Aoba!" A voice called. Aoba and Akira looked back to find the source. At the top of some stairs was a good friend

"Koujaku." Aoba called back.

"What are you doing all the way out here?" He asked, walking down the stairs. "What do you think im doing? I'm working. And you are...?" Aoba said

"I'm always busy." Koujaku smiled.

"Yeah, right, whatever." Aoba chuckled.  "If your delivering something, you're probably on your way to Delivery Works." Koujaku stated, "Bet you're wearing out your shoes!" He slapped Aoba on the back.  "Ow!"

"Just say hi to Yoshie for me."

"I say hi so you don't have to again. What's up with that?"

"Lucky dog. You get to see Clara again, don't you?" Beni, Koujaku's Allmate, said.  "You've got a strange definition of 'lucky'." Ren replied.

"It isn't that bad."

Koujaku took notice to Aoba's hair.  "I couldn't help, but notice. But, it looks like your letting your hair grow wild again." He smiled and reached to touch it, but stopped himself, remembering that Aoba's hair is sensitive.

"Yeah. Yeah, I need a haircut. Just don't stare at it. It's kind of embarrassing to me, having someone as professional as you standing around, plotting a makeover for me."

"You actually did a good job with it this time. You shouldn't be so self conscious.

"Mr. Koujaku!" A voice called. Aoba and Koujaku looked back, seeing two young women running to them.

They stopped in front of them.  "Where are you opening your shop today?" The second woman asked, "I don't trust anyone else with my hair."

"Well...that's nice." Koujaku turned to them, smiling. The girls sighed with hearts in their eyes, They noticed Aoba and then groaned slightly, expressing their disgust.

"Okay. We've got to go." Aoba said as the stop signs switched, allowing Aoba to keep going  "Right. See you later. If you ever want a real haircut, just let me know, okay, Aoba?"

"Not going to happen, dude!" Aoba called back. Koujaku laughed softly, watching his friend walk away "Hey, I forgot! I'll be by later, so say hi to your grandma for me!"

"Yeah, yeah!" Aoba rose his hand a little, waving it,

As a child, Aoba was teased, for most believed he was a girl and no one believed him when he said that it hurt when his hair was touched.

"Well...even after Koujaku found out I was a guy, he still took the time to keep the jerks off my back." Aoba stated

"Koujaku's good like that." Ren stated.

"Yeah."

Aoba, and the his Allmate finally arrived at Delivery Works.

"What's going on, Ren?!" Clara asked, rubbing against Ren.  "Oh, my goodness, Aoba! Can I help you today?" Yoshie asked

"If you would." Aoba replied

"And how are things?" Clara asked.  "Well..." Ren began, really wishing he could crawl under a rock and die or something like that

Yoshie insisted that Aoba stay for a while, giving him tea and sweets.

After a little while, Aoba was wishing to leave.  "I can't handle anymore, Yoshie-san." Aoba said.

"What are you talking about? You're young! You can do it! It's been awhile since I've taken cooking classes from my niece ani. I wonder if I've gotten any better." Aoba took a bite of cake "What are you making those noises for? You're so mean to me, Aoba."

"So when are you coming to see me again?" Clara asked leaning against ren who looked like he was miserable

Finally, as the evening fell upon the earth, Aoba was released from Yoshie and started on his way home.

"She's not bad. Just...annoying." Aoba responded.

"You got that right." Ren added

"Yeah, but you meant Clara."

"It's not like I hate her, but..."  ren trailed
off thinking off someone else

" I get it, you like ani's allmate Lily" aoba chuckled " h-hey! I never said that!" Ren protested

The two not noticing four guys following. One of them grabbed Aoba's jacket, stopping him.  "Whoa. That's a really cool Brain Nuts jacket you got. I could totally see myself in one of those. Come on! Help a buddy out." One of the guys stated.

"They sell them in front of the station." Aoba stated "Hey man. Do you know who you're messing with? We're Bug Bomb." Another spoke up, showing his tag of his gang on his arm.

"Hey, watch it. We're the strong left arm of Ribsteize. Mind your manners, big mouth."

"Lame." Aoba stated. "Huh? What'd you just say?" Another one questioned. "I said, you're all totally lame." One of them laughed. "It's go time, now! What team do you hang with?"

"I don't have a team."

"Ha! So you're a no mark! Well it's open season on no mark."

"They won't even ask what happened." Another one added.

"Not necessarily. You better back off from him now." Someone from behind warned

They all turned and saw a young girl with short light brown hair, and light greenish blue eyes, She wore a blue bike suit and black boots

And with her was her allmate, which was a little pup similar to ren, but with a white fur coating, which a certain dark-furred pup noticed ' lily'

"Oh look at this, You're a pretty little thing. We'll be sure to take extra care with you." The girl laughed sarcastically. "You might want to rethink that."

"What? You think your boyfriend's going to save you?" pointing back at aoba

"I'm not her boyfriend," Aoba started with a small red tint on his cheeks ' but id like to......'

"Either way, no one's going to care."

Aoba looked ahead as he noticed someone approaching them

"Yeah, but I might." A new voice spoke up. The girl looked back and noticed the guy

He had short burgundy hair, sea foam green eyes, and tan skin. His team symbol visible, so guys like these four would realize what gang he is from, for it is a teardrop tattoo, located underneath his left eye.

He wears two black and red earrings on one side of his ear. He also has a white symmetrical tattoo on his neck.

He wears a red shirt and a studded leather jacket in red and black. Additionally, he wears fingerless gloves that have small studs on the knuckles, a studded belt, black leather pants, and red shoes

The four guys laughed.  "Who the hell are you?" One of the guys asked.

He smirked and then threw two punches at one of the guys, knocking him to the ground, the other guy backed up surprised, until he noticed the ani, who snickered cutely, before round housing him and knocking him out

Much to aoba's surprise, and the other two

"Mess with my friend and he'll break your jaw. The Fox ass kick can take a dump on your day. Right, Aoba?"  The guy turned to the blue haired boy

"The Fox what?" Aoba asked.  "Your badass kick attack, buddy. It doesn't really matter if I just give it a name, right?" His eyes narrowed, "Seriously, though...you did break a guy's jaw with it, right?"

"Whoa! That's Mizuki! The chief of all those badasses in Dry Juice." One of the two remaining guys exclaimed

" and that girl...She's the boss of dorami! Ani mizuno!" She held her tough girl look, still glaring

The color drained from their faces

Then they turned and ran off, yelling out apologies and promising to never come back again, "You shouldn't go picking a fight like that if you're just going to run away!" Mizuki called to them "Lame ass punks."

"Just like their tag art." Aoba said.  "Come on, dude. You know this kind of stuff happens when you walk around without a mark, don't you? But, if you join me and Dry Juice you won't have any kind of problems anymore."

"Whatever, man. I'm just not really into that kind of thing, all right?"

"Yeah. I'm just thinking of your safety. Being on a team doesn't hurt." Mizuki says "Thanks again Ani, I owe you" he said to the girl who turned to acknowledge him " no prob, I was bored anyway" she smirked with her hands behind her head " I'm out, I'm starving" she said walking

" catch ya later!" she says while the two wave,
She's gotten tougher" mizuki says " off course she is, after all, she's a boss of that female biker gang, dorami" aoba said as the two watch her walking away

Flash back

Aoba was in his teens, sitting by himself, waiting for ani when he hears "I said no!" He looked to where he heard the shouting and looked to see ani and some other guy "I don't want to go out so stop asking!" She glared

"Come on! Don't be a prude" the guy flirts "I just wanna spend time alone with you" he then grabbed her wrist

"Let go of me!" She exclaimed "You hurting me!" She cried out, which made him mad and get up from where he sat

"Your really cute" the guy smirked

"Let me go!" She yelled

"You fight like a little kitten" he was pulling her more closer to him "It makes me want to pet you, Now stop resisting and give in to temptation little rose"

But was surprised when she managed  to push herself back a little "No! Please just leave me alone!" She begged

"All right you heard the lady! Leave her alone or else!" Aoba appeared and grabbed the guys wrist and pulling back making him yell out and fall to the ground

"Aoba!?" Ani's eyes widened, then Gasped when he pulled her close to his chest and wrapping an arm around her

"What?!" The guy got up of the ground "Who the hell are you?! How dare you touch her like that!"

"Your one to talk, Who gave you permission to lay your filthy hands on my girlfriend like you own her?" He smirked

'Your girlfriend?' The guy blinked

'Who's girlfriend?!' Ani exclaimed in thought

"No!" The guy exclaimed "You expect me to believe this crap?!" He glared at aoba

"You can believe whatever you want, But the two of us made a commitment to one another many years ago and its still going strong, Right tell him" aoba says looking down, also giving her a look that meant play along "Oh come on you don't have to be shy" he says while completely wrapping his arms around her while her hands went to his chest

She laughed nervously "Stop aoba...we're in public.."

The guy Hitting on her looked in disbelief "My rose!....Are you saying you like this guy?!"

"Yes in fact..." she says while blushing, then wrapping her arms around aoba's and saying "well...I love him!" Making his eyes widened with a blush

Flash back end

' even if we were pretending, deep down...I always wished it was real...' he frowned sadly

Later on, at the edge of an alley, Mizuki and Aoba were conversing, drinks in hand.

"Yeah, maybe. I just don't want to fight all the time, you know?" Aoba stated.

"I get it, man. It's kind of a rough life."

"Hm?"

"Lately, I'm not really sure how things are going with us either." Mizuki trailed off

  "Not sure? Really?" aoba asked.

"I thought that the Dry Juice guys and Koujaku's gang, the Beni Shigure, were all okay." Aoba explained " even that new gang called dorami"

"The Beni Shigure? Dorami? I guess they're okay nowadays, but we're...well..."

"You're what?"

"The problem's Rhyme," Mizuki admitted.  "Rhyme, huh? I heard it was getting popular again. But, I never actually played it, you know?" Aoba said.  "A lot of my guys are getting into it. Virtual fighting sounds cool and everything, but it just ends up being a waste of time," Mizuki crushed his soda can.

"Yeah. Most games are." aoba replied

"And there's also Spirited Away."

"Hm? Spirited Away?"  aoba quirked an eyebrow

"You had to have heard about that one right? A whole bunch of guys from Ribsteiz jump into that game and nobody ever saw them again."

"Yeah, I have. But, that's just some dumb urban legend, isn't it? That story's been going around for 10 years."  aoba stated

"Yeah, well, it just started all over again." Mizuki said

" huh?"

"They're disappearing, but one of those guys actually came back after a couple of days. He forgot everything that happened after he was lost and when he came back."

  "Amnesia?"

"Dude, he totally forgot his name. It was like his brain just stopped working."

"But, weren't the people saying that the guys that were really behind it were a Ribsteiz group called Morphine? I mean, after all, Morphine isn't anything more than a rumor themselves, right?"

"Maybe, but it's major league trouble."

"Hey, they said it was over here!" Someone yelled as two guys went running by. Aoba andMizuki, watched them go.  "Yeah! Hurry up man!" The second guy added.

"What's the big deal?" Aoba asked. But, as soon as he said it, the bright light of a VR game started shining from another alley.  "It's Rhyme," Mizuki stated, "I don't feel so good. I'm gonna go."

He tossed his soda can in the trash nearby, "Swing by the shop sometime." He looked to Aoba.  "Sure." Aoba replied.

He sits there for a moment before leaning his canon the step and along towards the crowd

the crowd chanting the name, 'Usui'

A star-like pentagram shone on the ground and from it, something--no--someone was emerging from it.

As they came out, they spread their ten arms out, each in different positions. She has long, light blue-green hair that is kept up by two pigtails in the back with fringes in the front. This was Usui. When hosting Rhyme, Usui wears a simple blue dress with white gloves and shoes. She also wears a blue, transparent visor that covers her face and a microphone was seen.  "Sorry to keep you waiting everyone!" She said, "It's time to play Rhyme!" A mechanical voice spoke from her.

"Rhyme field released." A large transparent dome-like expanded out, covering the area.

"I hope you're ready, because our first match of the evening is Player vs. Route 44! Player has played five times and has one three consecutive matches. Route 44 is battling Player for the first time! Can this new player stop Player's winning streak? The contestants are ready! Let the game...begin! Will Player's prayers reach the heavens? Or will Route 44 send him crashing to earth?!" As Aoba watched, suddenly he groaned with pain, sending his hand to his head.

"Are you okay, Aoba?" Ren asked.  "Yeah, I'm fine. It's the usual thing. Let's go." Aoba slowly walked away,

He pulled out a couple of pills and took them.

They were meant to help these headaches he sometimes gets.

"What's the matter? Crowd got you dizzy?" A voice asked. Aoba looked over, only to be met by two other guys he knew.

Virus and Trip, a strange duo who are usually at things like this. Although Virus may resemble Trip  a lot, they are not actually twins. Virus' hair is pale blonde, spiked up at the back with his bangs on the right. His eyes are bright blue and he wears a pair of glasses, which are black with green arms.

As accessories, he wears a pair of earrings that match the ones Trip wears. His tie is checkered to compliment Trips' clothes, and he wears a fitted black suit, as well as white shoes.

"Kind of funny meeting you here." Virus said.  "What's up, Aoba? how are you?" Trip asked.  "Virus. Trip." Aoba greeted.

"It's kind of strange to see you watching a Rhyme fight, Aoba," Virus stated.  "So, tell us, are you hooked on it, buddy boy?" Trip asked.  "You've got to be kidding, man. We didn't know it was even here." Aoba explained.  "Yeah?" Virus questioned.

"You probably just doubled over for no good reason." Trip added.  "That's not what happened, all right?" Aoba said,

"What are you guys here for anyway?" he asked

"We're keeping an eye on the crowd, of course." Virus answered.  "Rhyme's getting rough. Fight's are getting out hand." Trip added, again.  "And this just happens to be your turf, doesn't it?"  "Yes." Virus said

"Mm-hm."

"So when are you two guys going to stop dressing like each other, anyways? It's like your twins." They spoke at the same time, saying;  "You know we're not twins." Virus adding an 'okay?' at the end of his sentence.

"So, how are things going at that junk shop you work at aoba?" Virus asked.  "Yeah...what was it called? Equality?" Trip asked.

"Mediocrity." Aoba said.  "Junk Shop Mediocrity."

"Mediocrity's a really lousy name for you. Given your track record. If you ever decide you want to cut loose again, just give us a call, okay?" Aoba chuckled.  "I've gone straight, okay?" He said.  "I know I probably shouldn't say this, but I'd love to see you get on the circuit and fight again."  "Definitely. We're two of your biggest fans, Aoba." Trip said " plus maybe you can beat shadow wind"

Suddenly, they heard a loud voice. A voice coming through a megaphone or something " game over assholes! Your disturbing my piece!"

They looked over, only to see that the police had arrived, Akushima, a hotheaded officer who had somewhat of a sadistic like pleasure in busting people who were playing Rhyme, was there with them.

The crowd realized who it was and began to run away, but the police were tackling them.

"And...it's Mr. Wonderful himself." Virus stated.

" I'm taking your collective ass today!" They watched the police starting beating some of the runaways down, "And it's time for us to head out. You might want to get moving."

"Yeah." Aoba agreed.  "Bye-bye, Aoba,." Trip said. Virus and Trip ran off one way as Aoba went another.

Meanwhile the Usui disappears as the cops start tackling people " oh yeah! Run you bastards!" he cackled while his foot  pressed on one guys back

Aoba ran through some back alleys, often checking over their shoulders.

"I swear, that idiot's going to pop a vein or something, if he's not careful." Aoba stated.

Suddenly, Aoba ran into someone. He stumbled he looked back.  "Sorry about--" Aoba began, but stopped as he looked who he hit over.

He was a tall guy, definitely someone not to mess with, "Hey, sorry about that. I was running from this idiot cop and...i, uh..." He didn't say anything.

He merely narrowed his eyes and then walked on by them, going to a motorcycle that was parked beside the sidewalk. Before getting on, started up his motorcycle, then took off.  "What's up with that guy?" Aoba asked.

Aoba finally made it home, then opened the door.  "I'm hom--!" He called, only to be yelled at

"You stupid bastard!" an elderly woman yelled. "Lock the damn door! How many times do I have to tell you?! You better lock the front door the next time you leave the house!"

"Oh. Did I forget to do it again? I promise, I'll be more careful tomorrow." aoba apologise

She groaned. "That's the same damn thing you said yesterday. If you keep on being that scatterbrained I'll...never die in peace!" Aoba put his hands up in surrender, smiling nervously, but soon it disappeared, "Oh, yeah, your sorry butt's home."

"Jeez, Grandma, take it easy." Aoba said as he removed their shoes.

She had prepared dinner. Once it was ready and set at the table, both sat at the table. "Thanks for the food." They said in unison. Then, they began to eat. Aoba took a bite. "Grandma, this is awesome!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah, yeah." She replied.

After dinner, aoba took the dishes and put them in the sink

"Yeah, it was great." Aoba stated. "Sure it was." Tae replied. Aoba began to walk out, but stopped after sliding open the door, which led to the stairs to the second floor. "Hey, Grandma?"

"Hm? What now?"

"I'm sorry about not locking the door." "Don't worry about it."

"Yeah. When you start saying things like you said earlier, it makes me worry about you, okay?" Tae stared at him. "What do you mean by that?" Aoba and stood near him. "You dying. It's really kind of morbid."

Tae stared at them, then scoffed softly, realizing that what she said was morbid. "I mean, if you die, Grandma, who else is going to lock up this house when I leave for work everyday?" With a tick mark on her head, Tae sprang to her feet. "You--! You blithering idiot!" She threw her chopsticks at the frame, where there were a few other dents in the frame from where she's thrown other chopsticks.

Aoba raced out, laughing as they climbed the stairs. Tae stared after them, then chuckled to herself

Time skip

Aoba was standing out on his little balcony, leaning up against the railing and staring up at the sky ' spirited away..morphine....i don't Want a damn thing to do with any of that'

Elsewhere someone, wearing a mask watched from afar

"Aoba?" Ren finally called "Hm?"

"It looks like you've downloaded something in that email you got today."

"Downloaded? Oh, that!" he remember the email he got before he was interupted "I thought you said it was clean."

"This isn't a virus. You want to look at it?"

"Might as well." Aoba opened up the download on his watch. "Understood." He walked back into his room, then sat down on the bed.

As Aoba opened it, it appeared to be some old game, called Silent Oath.

"Somebody's hooked on A bit games." Aoba stated. The little character on the game moved through an area and out a door, where it opened up into a maze dungeon-like room, "Hey. Don't move the guy yourself, I should play."

"Play appears to be automatic."

"Automatic?"

"It looks that way." They guy weaved through the maze and to the other door

The character moved through the forested area, arrived at the ocean, and then the screen said, 'To Be Continued'.

"It's already over?"aoba asked

"For now, anyway." ren replied, Aoba fell back onto his bed, spreading his arms out.

"Well, it might be good for killing time. I don't like for things to be complicated."he said

Time skip

The next morning, Aoba arrived at the shop, but Mr. Haga had something for him.

"I know you got here, but could I get you to go out on a express delivery of me, Aoba? It'd sure help with this customer."

"Yeah. Just let me know where I'm going,"

Meanwhile

Mizuki and his gang were hanging around the stairs again, some guy walked up to Mizuki " hey Mizuki?" he looked towards the guy " yeah?"

The guys watched as their boss went to talk to him, the guy then walks again and Mizuki grips his hand in anger

After getting the address, Aoba started making his way to their destination, the package in hand.

However, even with Ren, the exact directions and they ended up in an alley

"It's around here, isn't it, Ren?" Aoba asked.  "That's what the indicator is saying." Ren replied

.  "Hm..." Suddenly, Ren got on high alert as he sensed something.  "Aoba!" Ren warned.

"Hm?"  Suddenly, the very world around them began to change as a wall of blue digital-like squares engulfed them.  "Whoa!" Aoba yelled.

The squares broke away and the area they were in was an open space, but the area itself was a game world. There was no floor or ceiling, but they weren't falling.

"What's going on? Ren!" Aoba looked to Ren, as he was shifting into his VR game form, which he takes on the appearance of a young man, due to his avatar settings.

He sports dark blue hair reminiscent of his fur, a headdress that covers his eyes, and a large dark blue cape covering most of his body down to his knees.

He wears light grey pants with a black belt and blue boots that look similar to his cape. He is tall and has a very pale complexion.

"Are you...all right?" Ren asked.  "Ren! What in the hell are you doing here in your online mode? Does that mean...?"

"It means we're in a Rhyme battlefield right now."

"What?"

"Incoming, Aoba."

looked forward as they saw their opponent drop down. He appeared to be a tall man with black shoes, grey pants. a long white doctor coat, a stethoscope around his neck, and a large rabbit head mask covering his own head.  "It's an honor to have you here. I've been looking forward to it." He said in a distorted voice.

"What's...that thing?" Aoba asked.  "Our opponent, it seems." Ren answered.  "It's time. For the two of us to have a little fun together." The opponent said.

A small bunny wearing a headset and small vest appeared in front of the opponent, which they assumed was his Allmate. Multiple other bunnies with boxing gloves dropped down on both sides of the first bunny.  "Fight...Aoba Seragaki." The opponent demanded.  "Hang on. How did you know my--?"

  "Rhyme name: Sly Blue."

"Sly what? That's not me." He looked to Akira.

"Let's start this."

"Start! Get set!" The opponent's Allmate yelled.

"rodger!"

"Get ready Aoba!" Ren warned. .

The many other rabbit shot up and one came right for Aoba, but he managed to dodge it.

"Whoa! Stop it already! I haven't even played Rhyme before, okay?!"

"Aoba!" Ren yelled

"Ren! Log us out, right now!"  "I'm trying to, but I don't have access to the logout function right here."

"Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!" The rabbit Allmate cheered happily.

"Knock it off! We're only playing a game!" A rabbit struck him right in the jaw.  "No, Aoba!" Ren cried.

"Damn it all! That rabbit punch freakin' hurt!"

"According to this game, pain is an illusion in the mind. However, any pain you feel shouldn't affect your body." ren stated

"Fine! So, why does my jaw hurt?!"  "Safety setting's appear to be turned off on this level." Ren said

"Huh?!"

"There's a possibility that any damage you take during this game will affect your real body." Ren explained.  "That's bullcrap, man!"

"Running is useless, you! Start all set!" The rabbit Allmate yelled. The many rabbits came in, striking Aoba from all over.

Just then he felt a pulse

"Ren. Jubilation."

"Aoba?"

"Just do it. Jubilation set, Ren." many rabbits came in for an attack, but he brought one arm back, then an attack sent them all flying.

A glowing blue sphere was spinning in Aoba's palm, "Destruction...and death." He smirked.
