It was high time to write an anime review, so here it is. I managed to write this review in April.

Plot:The story is about Kousei who was a piano prodigy. After some tragic incidents in his life, he cannot play the piano anymore. He has two friends- Tsubaki and Watari.

One day, a girl named Kaori enters his life. With the help with his friends, he regains his spirit to live.

Review: I will try not to give any spoilers. First of all, the animation is beautiful!! It's simply amazing. The music score is perfect too.

As far as the story is concerned, Kaori is a violinist and she helps Kousei to start playing piano again. Obviously, there's more to the story but I am not telling you.

Kaori as a protagonist was fine I guess. She was impressive but definitely not my favourite. If you watch the anime, you will understand why. I am not discussing this as it will be a spoiler.

Kousei is the reason I loved the anime. He was hurt, scared and conflicted. His story was presented beautifully.

But, the reason I love this anime is Tsubaki. She is the one character that made this series special to me. She was Kousei's childhood friend and loved him for a long time. But, as always she turned out to the second lead.

Listen, I don't cry pretty often. But, there's a scene where Tsubaki realises that she is well.. the 2nd lead.. I mean realises her feelings, and I genuinely cried. Like, cry.. cry.

Music :I watched this series at a time when I used to skip openings and outros (yes, I am guilty of that but I don't do that anymore). But, honestly, the music of this series is amazing.

There's a song called Hikaru Nara. I will add the link in this chapter. Its simply amazing. It doesn't matter whether you mean Japanese or not, it Still makes you feel different. And if you read the English translations, it's hits harder.

Ratings: 8.5/10
I loved this anime. But, I don't agree with Kaori on some points.
