Funwalling Fail :'v

Last week I went to Bremgra Funwalling with my brother Dee and my cousins Vee and Mile (not real name). When it's our turn to play I didn't do really bad.

There is this one-floor-tall crane-like thing in the middle of the Kids' Funwalling space called the Funjump (I for one don't think it's fun xD). People choose where they wanna jump (there are three; one looks like a punching bag and you have to hug it, one looks like the pole of a monkey-bar, and one is two rings) and of course they are attached onto a hook, and grab the things I described attached onto the crane-thingy. Then they fall.

Sounds easy? Lemme tell you something. It's NOT.

Dee, Vee, and Mile did it (and Mile was quite short, being around 7 years old so it was amazing) but me? I'll tell you.

Because we were quite scared (especially me) we decided to do it in twos. I was with Vee, and Dee was with Mile.

It was my and Vee's turn, and I chose the punching bag one (because they said it was the easiest) and Vee chose the monkey-bar one.

She jumped off, hung on a sec, and fell down slowly. Great -- now what about me?

Dang, I thought, looking down, this is high. I then looked forward towards the punching bag, looked down, and repeated over and over for a good five minutes. I can't do this! It was too far for me!

I kind of panicked, and maybe because I'm a wimp :'v I had tears in my eyes. I was terrified of heights, see. So much for dreaming to be a Dragon Rider.

In the end I fell down, helped by the guardians (and did not jump, I suck), and felt WHITE-HOT angry because my mom just frowned and said something like "Ah, you need to do better". Well, at least my best-cousin(s) Vee and Mile comforted me and said I did good -- at least I tried.

Lesson? You don't have to do things perfectly -- at least you tried.
