Toothless_Hiccup676 #8
I looked out the clubhouse to Hiccup's hut, the gang looking too, as we heard a few yells coming from that direction.
"What's going on?" Fishlegs asked, anxiety crippling him.
"Uh, it looks like Astrid's mad," I said. I winched as I heard some stuff being thrown and a few more yells.
Snotlout turned and walked to his spot in the back of the room. "Well, that's great. I am in deep trouble now."
"Of all dares! Why that one?" Fishlegs complained.
"Because! It was... funny!" I stated hesitatingly.
"Funny? You ruined our friendships with her!" Heather said.
"Oh come on! She'll turn around," I said. "She won't turn around her friends for bitterness."
"Okay, maybe. But still, you shouldn't have risked it," Heather said.
"All I know," Tuffnut began, eating some Yak-chops, "is that it's quite a show to watch."
"Yeah," Ruffnut agreed, eating her own corn.
After a few minutes, I noticed the hut had been quiet. "They must be talking now."
"Possibly," Fishlegs agreed.
Three minutes later, the door opened and the two dragon riders rushed back to the clubhouse through the rain and met the gang.
"Hey guys! Everything okay?"
"I think you should've told me about the Yaknog," Astrid began. "I'm still mad about it, but I'll try to forget it so we could play this game."
"Great!" I exclaimed. "Are you ready for more truth and dares, then?"
Astrid nodded. "Sure."
"Okay, while y'all were gone, Ruffnut had Mildew's cabbage, and she had the most hilarious reaction to it! She also had to compliment Snotlout, which was "Your dragon is better than you!""
Hiccup and Astrid laughed, and they sat down at the table once again. Next to each other.
"All right, Ruffnut," I started, looking at the young Viking. "A dare for you by Toothless_Hiccup676 again. You up for the challenge?"
Ruffnut looked up, her eyes widening. "I never thought I'd say this, but can I have a truth this time?"
I laughed. "No. Maybe on a different occasion, though. The dare is you have to get in a fight with Astrid, with weapons."
Ruffnut perked up. "A weapon's fight?" she asked, with excitement in her voice. "Oh, this one I'm excited to do! I'll go get my mace!" Ruffnut quickly got up and rushed to her hut for her weapon.
"Well, this will be interesting," Astrid remarked, cracking her knuckles.
When Ruffnut returned, Astrid got out her axe from Stormfly. "Let's do this, then."
"Okay, everyone, stand back!" I announced, as we all headed toward the wall. "Give 'em some space to fight."
Astrid, gripping her axe, stared at her opponent, who had her mace out ready to fight.
Ruffnut raced forward, with her mace out, and just in time, Astrid blocked it with her axe. Ruffnut quickly brought it back up, only to be blocked again. Astrid made a move to Ruffnut, but then she quickly blocked it.
Blocks, blows, and kicks were made at each other. The gang watched, intrigued. Tuffnut was eating a snack as he watched, and everyone gave an "ooh!" every once and a while.
Astrid kicked at Ruffnut's knee, and she grunted. She blew her mace at Astrid's side, and she winced. Then Astrid put her foot behind Ruffnut, and pulled her weight from underneath her.
"Ow!"
Astrid laughed. "I think that's enough. Good fight."
I immediately started clapping, which made the gang do the same. Astrid approached me, and said, "Thank you, Sarah, for that dare. I feel a little better."
I laughed. "Well, in that case, your welcome. Although, it wasn't really your dare."
Astrid smiled, and sat back down. Hiccup went and sat next to her, and started talking. Hmm. I think he'll like my next dare for him.
