On the Puffing Tom, Robin thought about the Straw hats while Sanji, Usopp disguised as the Sniper King , and Franky began making their way to her. Usopp took an alternate route on the roof and snuck in through to talk with Robin while Sanji and Franky fought their way through the train. Behind them the Rocket Man was speeding along the tracks, quickly catching up to the Puffing Tom. Kari was sitting on the floor, legs crossed with Celes in her lap and hands in tight fists. She was shaking and sticking close to either Nami, Chase, or Zoro.

"... Luffy." Kari began once Luffy was back inside the train. The Straw hat captain looked at Kari.

"Yeah?"

"... We're... We're gonna save her... We're gonna save Robin... R-Right?" Kari looked up with her eyes showing fear and stared dead center in Luffy's eyes.

"What kind of question is that? Of course we are!" Luffy smiled. Kari gulped then nodded, calming down a little.

"... I won't hold back." She said with a sigh a little more confident. Whenever she saw how fearless Luffy was, or anybody from the ship, it made her feel like she needed to toughen up to help them. Chase nodded then Luffy chuckled.

"Good, I won't either." Luffy chuckled. Not long later the Rocket Man arrived at Enies Lobby. Chase was the first to leave with Kari and Luffy on his back. Next to follow were Zoro, Nami, Chopper, and the Franky family.

"LETS SAVE ROBIN!!" Luffy and Kari yelled in unison while Chase let out a mighty roar.

"What's that?!"

"A weird bird-lizard?!"

"IT'S A DRAGON!!" The people called from below. Kari chuckled and looked at Chase.

"Ready bro?" She asked and Chase nodded. "Hey Cap, mind taking front seat?"

"Huh? Sure!" Luffy smiled widely and Kari stood up then began to free fall off of Chase. Luffy stared with wide eyes.

"Dragon technique." Kari began. "Metal scales. IRON SPINES! SCYTHE!" Kari's skin began to change into shiny iron colored scales as she reached the ground. She arched her back as spines ripped holes into her shirt. The spines were arched like scythe blades and had a shiny glint as they hit the sun. "IRON SPINE SCYTHE WHEEL!!" Kari called then tucked into a wheel and began spinning. Luffy gasped in awe as he observed from above. Kari landed and created a crater in the ground, causing dust to pick up in a cloud. Kari began to travel around, still curled into a wheel. She slashed at whoever got into her way. After a while the girl skid to a stop and went back to her normal appearance. Her shirt began to glow and fix itself. Kari looked up to Chase and nodded. The dragon landed and let Luffy off.

"THAT WAS SO COOL!" Luffy called. Kari rubbed the back of her head and giggled.

"Ya think? Well, just wait until you see what else I can do." Kari said, putting her hoodie on with the hood up, hiding her face except for her mouth for fun. More Marines rushed towards them. The three fought together as everyone else arrived. The Straw hats began to make there way to the main building where they were holding Robin and Franky.

"Let's go guys!" Zoro called.

"ZORO WRONG WAY!" Chase hissed.

"Hah?" Kari hit her face with her palm then noticed Luffy going the wrong way.

"Yo! Lu-lu! This way!" She called.

Nami grumbled. "Those two idiots..."

"Remind me to make a medicine for stupidity..."

"I don't think it can be cured, Chopper." Chase gave a nervous smile. The crew quickly made their way onto a few stone pillars that were apart of the Courthouse across from the building Robin was in. Sniper King and Sanji had joined them while the crew was making their way up to the pillars. Luffy looked at the Sniper King then gave the order to burn the flag. The flag burned to nothing but ashes. The Marines were frozen in shock. The man holding Robin, a man named Spandam, growled then began to make his way to the bridge of hesitation. The Straw hats rushed into the building and battles began to wage throughout the entire building. Kari was running around on her own, holding Celes tightly as she searched for a way to get to Robin.

"Hey!" A voice called. Kari stopped and turned around to see an eighteen year old boy with a nose that was celestial and a well built body that was a little more muscular than average, but not much. He had hair that was a shiny silver, eyes that were a nice wolf like shape and a bright sapphire blue. His hair was in a messy style with a longer group of hair to the right of his right eye going down to about nose length. On his forehead is a pure white "x" shape that resembles a scar. He wore the Marines uniform with a dog tag and chain with the same "x" shaped symbol carved into the tag and on his right bicep was a tattoo of the Marine symbol in black. Kari blinked and tilted her head. "You guy's have caused quite the ruckus, huh?" He chuckled. Kari growled, getting ready for a fight. The boy smirked. "The name's Kitearo Himura. Nice to meet you. And you are?" Kari bore her teeth.

"Kari... Kari Himura."

Kitearo went wide eyed then hissed. "You are lying!"

"That's my name, idiot!" Kari snapped in anger. The teen growled then lunged at Kari.

"METAL BODY! STEEL HAMMER ARM!" Kitearo's body began to shimmer like steel with his left arm becoming a hammer.

"DRAGON TECHNIQUE! METAL SCALES! IRON DEFENCE!!" Kari called, taking the hit. Kari smirked. "You've gotta do better than that to bring me down." Kari chuckled then gripped Kitearo's arm with both of her hands after placing Celes on her right shoulder. "FIRE SCALES! FLAME BODY!" Kitearo began to feel his arm melting so he kicked Kari in the gut then jumped back. "Electric scales! Zap step!" Kari rushed behind the teen. "Ice scales!" Kari's scales began to change into an ice blue with white spots here and there that glittered with each breath that Kari took, a bit of ice cold air escaping her lips and nostrils with each exhale. "Freezer kick!" Kari called then kicked Kitearo's left leg, freezing him in place up to his knee. Kitearo struggled to free his leg, but to no avail. Kari put her palm on Kitearo's back. "Electric scales. Nerve disruptor." An electric pulse escaped from Kari's palm and into Kitearo's body, numbing him so he could not move. Kitearo began to gasp as he fell to his knees as the ice melted from the heat generated by the nerve pulse. Kari huffed then began to hold Celes once again.

"H-how..?" Kitearo gulped. Kari glared at him from the shadows of her hoodie.

"You can still speak? Huh? Well, whatever. I'm here to save Robin and as to how I beat you so quickly. Well, you underestimated me and let your rage get the better of you." Kari removed the hood and sighed. Kitearo widened his eyes. "I'll get going. Next time we meet, I expect more of a challenge." Kari's body went back to its normal appearance and she ran off quickly.

"... It... It can't be... I... I thought..." The teen thought as he stayed in the same spot, letting the numbness of his body wash over him. "... So... It's been so long... What's happened?"

Soon Kari met up with Franky and the two began to head towards Robin, seeing Luffy along the way as they passed his battle with Rob Lucci. The two rushed towards the bridge of hesitation as fast as they could.

"Try an' keep up!" Kari said, picking up speed. Franky smirked.

"With pleasure!"

"Zap step!"

"HEY SLOW DOWN!" Franky yelled and Kari laughed. The two soon reached the bridge only to be met with a huge explosion. Spandam and Robin heard the explosion and turned towards the sound. Spandam laughed while Robin stared in horror. "Hey kid, you alright?"

"... I've been better but yeah. Thanks dude." The dust cleared to show that Franky took the whole explosion. "And the name's Kari Himura, got it?"

"Whatever." Franky huffed. Kari grumbled then noticed Robin.

"MA!" She called. Franky stared at the girl in shock and confusion.

"Ma?! You mean--"

"No, she's not my mom by blood. She's my mother figure." Kari informed with a huff, waving her right hand side to side in front of her face, her palm towards the side, with an unamused glare to the man. Franky nodded in understanding.

"Okay then." The two began to rush at Spandam with amazing speed. "Strong right!"

"ICE SCALES! FREEZER KICK!" The two were relentless as they attacked.

"Alright Funkfreed! Kill them!" Spandam drew his sword which turned into an elephant. Kari's eyes flashed a dim gold. She hissed, glaring at the elephant as it charged.

"Metal scales." Kari began. "Iron strength." Kari put up her hands as her muscles began to be coated in a iron coating as well as her bones. Her strength increased and she held back the rampaging elephant then she wound up her right fist and punched him as hard as she could, sending the elephant flying. Spandam gasped in shock while he began to shiver. Soon the buster call arrived. Kari and Franky gulped and quickly began to attack Spandam to get Robin back. "Franky! Give me the keys!"

"Alright!" Franky tossed Kari the keys that were won by everyone to try and unlock Robin's seastone handcuffs. Kari began to unlock the handcuffs.

"Not this one... No... Nope... Got it!" The cuffs fell to the ground with a loud clang. Kari sighed in relief then hugged Robin.

"... Why.. Why did you come?" Robin asked, holding Kari close.

"Because... No one deserves this... No one does." Kari smiled up at Robin. "I've already lost a lot. I'm not gonna lose anyone or anything else." Kari shivered and Robin sighed.

"Heh. Alright then." Robin sighed then the two took a step back and began to make their way towards the stairs with Franky but the stairs were blown up. Kari gulped then looked at the island. The buster call was taking aim. They fired the first shot, then the next, then a barrage of bombs began to rain down on the island.

Robin began to shiver as she watched the flames grow, remembering how her home turned into rubble the same way. Kari rushed towards Robin and frowned, tugging on her. A roar soon sounded in the sky. Chase had gotten all the Straw hats off of the island and onto the bridge. Everyone began to fight. Robin, Chopper, and Nami began to head towards the escort Marine ship with Kokoro, Chimney, and Gombe.

Hours passed and everyone was getting tired. Luffy had beaten Rob Lucci and was now numb. Everyone was losing hope while escape seemed impossible. An odd sound echoed to the Straw hats. The crew looked around to find where the sound was coming from.

"To the sea..." The Straw hats stopped.

"You hear that?" Kari asked Zoro while holding off some swordsmen.

Zoro nodded. "Yeah." Kari smiled. Chopper, Nami, and Usopp were crying.

"Well, let's go." Chase panted heavily while grabbing Chopper and running to the edge of the bridge. Sanji was next then Robin, Franky, Usopp, Luffy, Zoro, and Kari.

"MERRY!!" Everyone called while falling onto their ship, their fellow Straw hat. Once onboard Kari began to hug the mast with Chopper and Usopp, the three of them crying tears of joy.

"Let's get going!" Luffy called out then the crew set sail, everyone rushing around, doing what they were told. The Marines began to shoot at them but Sanji, Zoro, and Kari began deflecting the cannon balls. They eventually used Luffy as a rubber shield. Everyone was in high spirits as they fled back to Water 7.

On one of the Marine escape ships was Kitearo. He watched as the Straw hats fled Enies Lobby. He growled and tightened his hands into trembling fists. A woman approached him. She was eighteen as well and had midnight black hair with velvet brown highlights. Her hair was smooth and was tied up into a small ponytail that resembled a rabbit's tail a bit, her nose was short with a dull point and loosely resembled a carrot, piercing green eyes that are shaped similar to horizontal ovals, though not by much. Her body was very curvaceous and average in width around the torso with muscles mainly around her hips and legs, though she did have muscles on her arms.

"Kite. What's--"

"I saw her Min. She's with the Straw hats! They brainwashed her or something!"

"That's a bit extreme..." Min sighed. Kitearo growled.

"But it could be the case!" Kitearo snapped, his rage growing.

After some time they met up with the Franky family and the Galley La company as well as the giants that were befriended by Usopp. They got off the Merry Go and onto a paddle boat and said their final goodbyes.

"I'm sorry..." A voice called. It echoed and sounded sad. Everyone hiccupped. It was Merry. "I'm sorry I couldn't sail with you."

"Don't be sorry! It's our fault you got all banged up Merry." Luffy hiccupped. He gulped then tossed a burning torch onto the ship. Everyone cried sadly as they watched their friend, their home, their ship, their fellow crew member burn into ashes. After a while the crew solemnly got onto the Galley La ship and continued towards Water 7.

Once back on the island everyone began to growl at them and yell, but mayor Iceberg cleared things up and everything calmed down. A party was held that night for Robin's safe return. The whole island joined in and had a bunch of fun. Chopper was messing around with Chase and Kari, Luffy was having fun, Usopp was singing, Robin was watching from a distance for a while, Sanji was entertaining some kids with his amazing cooking skills, Zoro was drinking some booze with some of the Galley La member's, Nami was, and Franky was dancing.

Day turned to evening and evening turned to night and everyone fell into a nice sleep. Luffy on a giant bone that once had meat, Robin asleep in a recliner as well as Nami, Chopper was in his normal form under a tree with Kari on his back with part of her face nuzzled into his scruff and Chase curled around them, Zoro had passed out around empty barrels that once held booze with some of the Galley La company, Usopp fell asleep on the stage he was on with Franky passed out nearby, and Sanji was sleeping near Robin and Nami with a few bumps on his head because he got too close earlier. That day was bittersweet for the Straw hats.
