September 15, 2016: War and Military Drafts

*contains angry-at-the-American-government and anti-military comments. You have been warned*

Well then.

Today, during Social Studies, my class was discussing how American males are drafted into the military when they turn 18, or else they are removed of some right or something. I can't quite remember what it was.

Then our teacher, BG, brought up how women were just allowed into the military a few years back. Then she said it's possible that women will be drafted when they turn 18 too.

Why, I ask you? Why must everyone join the Military? I don't want to fight or kill someone! I just want to read and write and live my life!

I'm pretty much like everyone protesting the Vietnam War draft. I don't want to have to join the military or lose my rights! Honestly, government dudes? I don't know about any of you, but I, for one, don't want to join some armada marching to fight ISIS when I turn 18. That's called intruding on my personal rights, people!

Does it seem to anyone else that the government is overly preparing itself for war?

Look, it would be way easier to avoid deaths in war if no one had armies or weapons. Just solve everything with a freaking rock-paper-scissors match! Or tic-tac-toe, or something peaceful like that! Maybe even UNO!

Sheesh. Instead, all the world wants:

BLOOD. GUNS. BLOOD. ADVANCED WEAPONRY. BLOOD. WALL AROUND THE US BORDER. BLOOD. SOME DUDE'S HEALTH AND TAX RECORDS. BLOOD. VIDEO GAMES. BLOOD.

And if I have to fight, I'll use a sword. Not these...rifles and machine guns and pistols.

What's the point of fighting, if it's going to lead to more harm than not?
