The girl with long brunette hair stuttered under her breath, her green eyes gloving at the moon light as she tried to concentrare in her homework. She was known as Iris, 17 year old girl with temper and humor, she could do both.

(Only green eyes)

She groaned, took her book and stood up, then made her way to downstairs and jumped on the just buyed carpet which slide bit of the sudden and slippy impact. She made her way to her living room and noticed her father there sitting and cleaning his gun.

What good way of spending your time with your daughter.

Iris thought and rolled her eyes at that. Her mom had passed away ever since she was a child and was already used to that, she never knew her properly did she?

But when her dad became the shooter of 'black skyes' he had been busy and left his daughter all alone. He had no idea what that did to her. But that was not her past's top point-

Iris shook her head at those memories and cleared her throat to earn his attention, which she got. For a second she narrowed her eyes to her father's, but then looked down at her homework.

"If I skip tomorrow's lessons? I might be able to catch up the whole day." She asked, while leaned the doorway.

"Not happening Iris," His dad said demandly with his bitter burned and deep alcohol voice and got to work with his gun again. "You're going, I'm gone the whole day."

"What's it into me?" She growled and crossed her arms. "You're the one who's avoiding spending time with me!"

"I don't have time." He snarled and send her a warning glance.

"Exactly." At that Iris left the room and walked to the kitchen, took some french loaf for her hunger and milk.

"You're a big girl, Iris-" His dad's voice echoed to the kitchen, she only rolled her eyes and drinked her milk. "You should spend time with your friends, like normal teens do."

"I do, when I can." She snarled back. "My homework is not gettin' anywhere! I'm going to be left behind!" She yelled and put her mug down.

She heard his dad sigh and zip voice heard, he opened beer can again. Iris growled, smacked the bread to the window and grabbed her book, then made her way to upstairs and locked her door.

She throwed the book away and jumped on her bed. The groan her throat managed to make sounded abnormal, but she didn't care and only took her phone, then opened it up.

Yeah, we had phones.

Iris typed to her closest friend Jack, who was only few months younger than her and had black hair with blue eyes and wore usually same outfit.

:Main shot! How's it doing?: He asked, Iris grinned and begun to tape.

:Not good.. dad's being an ass again :/: She said and sighed, then looked out of the window.

:Again? He did nothing to you, right?: He asked from her, which Iris smiled at. He was always the protecting one of the three of them. (Going back to that)

:Heyo! Again!?: Miko, the craziest friend had joined their conservation, even though they met her few weeks back. Therefore, she was still part of their gang. She had black hair with stripes of pink and those two pigtails on her head, she wore what she could get her hands on. Oh, and she was on lobe with punk-rock.

:Tell me 'bout it :/, you going somewhere tomorrow?: Iris asked, got up from her bed and walked over to her table, then sat down on a chair and looked out at the huge moon.

:School only, you have something in mind?: Raf asked, Iris grinned. He was a boy about 13 years old now, he was child to them, but a nerd and incredibly intelligent.. he was a super computer. He wore typical clothes to himself and had glasses.

:A round at the town wouldn't be bad, would it? ;): She smiled at her emoji and gazed again to look out.

:I'm in: Jack replied, Iris smiled.

:COUNT. ME. IN!: Miko bursted out, she giggled.

:I can.. my homework is done anyway so..: Raf replied.

The whole gang was going.

Iris smiled and put the phone down, then stared at the moon with beauty. She always had liked nature, who wouldn't? Since a little child her parents took her out to explore nature, until the trouble-makers had been detected.

But she could sworn a dark figure flew past it, causing her to stood up and peek more out. It only showed in the moon light.. she was disappointed.

Iris and her friends weren't like other humans, shutting down the animal of all time history, a dragon. The mighty beast which gloved in their woods and shined in nights. But what humanity is doing? Trying to kill the poor race, which had been more rarely seen. Great going.

She grinned at herself and couldn't wait to see one in close contact.

She looked forward to it.

Iris:

Door's bang sound woked me up, causing me to groan and move my head at a side on my pillow. My eyes drifted to the wall watch above my door, only to widen them up.

"10 a.m!?" I jumped out of the bed and rushed to my closet. I throwed my night clothes off and picked nice looking blue jeans along with black top and ontop of it grey hoodie. I got to brush my hair and teeths at same time in my bathroom and readed the hundred messages of Jack, Miko and Raf.

Oh shit.. 30 minutes late already!

We had been close friends since middle school. Miko was the 16 year old party girl, who didn't like the quietness around here, she was actually from Japan but moved to live with her grandma in this country. I bet the only thing keeping her here is the Dragons and us.

Jack was more like a big brother to us and my best friend, we had known each other since our mothers had met at the hospital, as they were expecting us. He was always the protective one, but I was still the oldest. So, responsible of them, and could defend if needed.

Raf had his own personality. He was maybe the youngest and smallest, but he likes to spend time with us, not with his classmates. For young aged, he was a total nerd and barely moved away from his computers if not forced to. To school he likes to go.

Oh yeah. Here the school is by a tall building and luckily ends soon, I could not wait till that happens.

:WHERE ARE YOU!?: I read Miko's messages and tied my hair up, then grabbed my keys, phone and jacket, then rushed the stairs down.

I was not afraid of my dad. He went always at this time to work and comes back really late. But I was more concerned what will he do when he gets the information that I skipped my classes and hanged out with my friends..

Nah.

I got to kitchen and grabbed a banana with me, then run to the door, grabbed my shoes and put them on, then opened the door and got to run. I ran the streets and avoided not to hit anyone while doing that. Yeah we didn't have cars..

I came to one point and turned a corner, only to be grabbed by arm and someone to pull me to hide. A hand slammed on my mouth and a familiar voice said shh. I nodded and looked up at Jack with side-grin.

"Did you hear that there are dragons possible activity near us?" Few same workers as my father walked past by us, we went down.

"There are rumors, but I don't believe it, they only move at nights after all." The other replied with sigh, while they kept going.

We sighed in relief and stood up.

"Hey!" I looked to my right and saw anoher side of the road Miko and Raf with wide grins. We grinned too and made sure no one was coming and run to them. "What took you so long!?" Miko asked, when we got to climb a high building up.

"Sorry, over slept." I apologized and jumped on one roof, then to other.

"Jeez.." Jack sighed and followed after me.

"You think what soldiers said was true?" Raf asked, as he carefully came after us.

"About dragons? That would be awesome!" Miko squealed and jumped on my roof.

"Yeah.." I looked high up in the air, not seeing anything.

~ Time skip ~

The night came about 6 p.m and our streets went quiet. But none of us had still went home, we were just sitting around the city and talked a lot. We had saw many soldiers with guns.. I was excited if here would come dragons. Although it would be bad, but I don't think so.

Until we were sitting around in one tall chair middle of the city in silence, siren went on.. we just groaned. We did look up but nothing could be seen.

"They're waking people up rather annoying way and for nothing." Jack stated.

We nodded in agreement and heard gun load behind our backs, causing us to turn around and saw two soldiers, the same as earlier. Iris' eyes widened slightly, but she remained still.

They won't hurt own people.

"Children? Get back to inside, right now!" One ordered and pointed at the sky. We didn't even flinch, nobody messes or threatens us. Or, as there seemed to be no reason to it.

"Are you deaf!?" The other growled. "Siren has went off, don't you get it!?"

"We get it. But where are they?" I asked with grin, the other twitched his mouth. His gun pointed more towards me, his safe-presser went down.

"I'm warning.."

Until the roar high up in the sky could fill each of us ears, the guards tensing more than us. Jack and I stood up slowly and looked up at the sky.

"Run already!" One soldier growled and pushed Miko's back, causing her to tremp and glare at him.

Until I saw it.

With my own green eyes I saw it. The first dragon which was flying around with.. other ones. I couldn't saw it much, but felt speechless. How big, bulky, and odd it looked like.

"Iris.." Jack slowly grabbed my sleeve and stared there in shock too. "I think they're right.."

"Jack, don't ruin this." I said and saw Raf stare in shock, with no words.

I didn't think they were that big!

Until huge air draft caused all of us went bit back and at least on our knees. As I tried to look up with my friends after regaining from it, we remained still as four pairs of feet, no, paws landed to stand in front of us.

"Gaha-!" One soldier stood up by yelling randomly and pointed his gun at him. I recognized the dragon to be somehow a male of his stern body shape, his bigger paw-size than like female ones had, he didn't just have female side either. No way. But I was too afraid to look him in the eyes, of what he might do.

Is he.. growling?

The dragon made low growl to the man, then another one of the dragons came down and.. ate him. Oh shit, I knew we were fucked up. But I saw it drop the liveless body and spit some blood away. The other soldier whined too and his fate was sealed by another one. He didn't have so painful as his neck was only snapped into pieces.

Or what am I to know!? It could've hurt so much.

.. Why am I taking this so lightly..?

But the one who stood in front of us didn't do much of anything. We had froze on our places and didn't dare to move. Like Dad had instructed if I never would over-come with a dragon.. they sense the movement like dinosaurs: as a prey. Until I gained some trust and courage of raising my head up, slowly as possible. I was closest of him.

He made low growling voice which increased when he noticed my head was moving. Adrenaline filled me and I became more eager to see the dragon fully.

You're as good as dead now, girl.

My eyes finally and carefully locked to the dragon's red ones, yup totally a male. He had gray and purple scales cover his body up at some points, his expression looked bit of grumpy and stern side, almost like a leader which he probably was because of his size. After all, he seemed to be the biggest of them.

"Tell me, human." I was totally caught off guard when he spoke. "What are you trying to accomplish with that stare of yours?" He growled and moved his paw a bit away.

CAN DRAGONS TALK!?

My Dad had never told me about it! Does he himself even know? But I took it as a good sign, I could communicate with one. I didn't know what was going on, but I was eager, and I had feeling he was too.. just a bit.

"Trying to figure out what you're looking like." I stated sternly. "And it would seem quite interesting.. maybe."

He only twitched his mouth and stood straight.

Oh, bad call.

"Take them all, we use them as a warning to the Autobots." He growled and walked bit away, now I was confused.

Who the freakin' Autobots?

But when a dragon with purple and blue scales, also with purple eyes, shock looking tale, humongous wings and beautiful shaped male approached me, I froze and backed away.

"Hey! Don't touch me!" Miko growled, she was held by a red dragon with hints of red, white, yellow and black scales, and had red eyes. He was the smallest of them.

Jack on the other hand was held by a dragon with gray scales added hints of red, blue and white, he had also red eyes. I figured out he was patient as Jack seemed to be in pain between his sharp teeth.

What's with the red eyes?

Raf was held up by a dragon who had mostly blue scalrs with orange and gray, he had odd tail thing and luckily this time yellow eyes. So, there was no connection with the eyes, right?

The one that stood in front of me managed to grab my hoodie and raise up like a puppy, I, however squirmed my way out and thumped on my butt, then got to run.

"Run!" Jack yelled, Iris did not try to escape. But get one of the guns which the dead-guards possessed, and her mission was to free her friends.

Okay, enough of these dragons.

"Don't let her escape!" The leader one commanded, I was falled back down by my legs pulled under me off. I holded my arm a bit and saw the same dragon approach me once again.

"Just stay still!" Rafael ordered then, and struggled bit of himself between the blue dragon's grasp.

I took in huge breaths and glared the dragon in front of me, who kneeled to grab me. That was when I saw him raise his head up and stare something behind me. I hoped it was a human. But as I felt a cold huge air draft go through me and could sworn someone or something was behind me of the small and faint growl.. I lost the hope on that. The dragon who intended to grab me took steps back, growling to whatever was behind my back.

.. Not friend of his?

"Megatron." I flinched at the deep and baritone voice which growled behind me and remained unmoved, but saw the grumpy face took steps forward. I saw Jack, Miko and Raf stare wide eyes of whatever was behind me.

"Optimus." The grumpy face as I came known of as 'Megatron' said with grin and glanced down at me. Luckily he had his distance, however small. The one who tried to snatch me only stayed there, few meters away.

"This is getting low." The other behind me as I came known as 'Optimus' said and felt his eyes on me. "You're taking humans as your hostages? Our rules rely inside the woods, not in human territory."

"Maybe for you, but I'll let you think why have we come to this." He snapped back with snarl, I gulped. I was just somehow interested of him, he was so big, bulky, strong and so secret that I wanted to brake his shield. And not best time to think of it, but he seemed like the bad guy of this situation.. and they were hard to brake.

I gulped and saw two pairs of legs each side of me, red scales and hints of black added too. I gained again some courage and slowly peeked up to see blue eyes stare down at me with.. wise and courage. Also with quite worry and amusement of probably by my action.

He was a male also, only with blue eyes and more coloring scales. He had red and blue, with hints of gray and black. His size was just a hint smaller than Megatron here, which ment that we was huge also.

He with his paw pushed me gently behind him, I just sat there in shock. I stared at him, then other dragon.

"Remain still." Optimus ordered sternly, I could see his claws digged into the mud as he groaned smally. I only gulped. "Release rest of the humans."

Enemies?

"They are my preys, Optimus. And she's part of it." Mega-dude growled and glanced back at me. Optimus instead stepped as a shield in front of me.

"Autobots-" Optimus started, Megatron's expression changed oddly. "Take rest of the humans."

From the streets next to Jack, Raf and Miko jumped out three dragons, I widened my eyes. I could tell the one who saved Jack was a female and had blue scales with hints of pink, black and gray. She had same blue eyes but no wings?

Doesn't females have?

Miko was send flying and the dragon with green, white and darker gray scales catched her and with his tail- thing smacked the red one's face. Miko looked thrilled by it, and squealed little as she swing around.

Raf on the other hand was almost taken if the yellow one with hints of black and gray hadn't catched the blue one with yellow eyes and pinned him to down. He had blue eyes too. He looked like a child still, but cute one!

Optimus had used that time to snatch me and give me no warning as he took off, flying. I gasped and hoped that my jeans would made it -as he used them to have hold of me and I wouldn't fall. I was so high up. I heard growling and saw Megatron himself fly after us. He blasted from his mouth purple blasts towards Optimus, who only dodged them and kept going.

This is getting out of the line!

I heard a rip voice and froze, my jeans was going to give up. Until they finally did and I couldn't even say to Optimus anything as I went down and fast. He flew after me, but got Megatron on his tail and blast to his side.

"Give up, Prime!" Megatron roared, got to Optimus's back and pushed him away, then came towards me.

A blue blast hit his back and he just in time didn't grab me as I saw Optimus flew under me. I got to sit on his neck now and holded on for his back things for support. We looked down to see nowhere Megatron, and saw other dragons fall back. I sighed in relief and leaned my head to Optimus' back and stared the sky.

What. A. Day.
