"What the hell is going on?" Mae asked as she ran over to Vegeta.

"Majin Buu didn't share his pudding and insulted Lord Beerus." Vegeta's voice was trembling.

"Mr. Satan!" Gohan ran over to his father-in-law who was on the ground. He had tried to stop the fight and got knocked back.

"He's upset over pudding?!" Mae asked. "Damn it."

Beerus grabbed Buu and began to swing him around. "I'd like to think of myself as a forgiving deity but you have gone too far to insult me." He let Buu go and appeared above him knocking Buu into the water. As he fell Beerus sent an energy beam causing the water to explode around them.

"Vegeta," Mae turned to him. He was trembling in fear. She looked to the others who were waiting for them to act.

"Vegeta are you okay?" Krillin asked. "I thought that guy was your friend."

"Normally I don't want you fighting at my parties but teach that guy a lesson, Vegeta!" Bulma yelled.

"Mae stay here." Vegeta said. She gave a silent nod and he flew up to face Beerus. "I'm so sorry about him, your grace. I'll make sure he pays though."

"Stand aside Vegeta." Beerus said calmly.

"If you want pudding I can go and get you the best pudding this world has to offer." Vegeta pleaded.

"I said stand aside!" Beerus snapped and Vegeta withdrew back down to the ship.

'Vegeta is scared. Not to mention Mae isn't rushing to attack him.' Piccolo thought. He looked down at Dende who was also trembling. "Dende you know something don't you?"

"There is something different about him." Dende stammered.

"His energy is unique?" Piccolo asked.

"Something like that." Dende nodded.

Buu flew out of the water, "Buu really mad! Buu make you pay!"

He flew forward and Beerus kicked Buu to the deck, crashing into one of the food stands. Beerus yawned, "I'm going to destroy this world then go home."

"Ready Trunks?" Goten yelled jumping a few feet away from him.

"Let's do it!" Trunks nodded.

"Fuuusion Ha!" They yelled performing the technique. When the light faded Gotenks was standing ready to fight.

"Shit." Mae swore under her breath.

"Someone has been a bad kitty!" Gotenks smirked. "Well good thing the all powerful Gotenks is here to teach you a lesson!"

"Wait don't!" Vegeta reached out to stop him.

Gotenks ignored him and flew up and punched at Beerus. "What the?" Gotenks asked when nothing happened. He narrowed his eyes and continued to attack. "I know what you are here for and I'm not going to let you have the dragon balls!"

Beerus grabbed Gotenks' hand and held him. "Dragon balls? Sounds like quite the delicacy."

"Let me go!" Gotenks yelled trying to get free.

"Tell me are the balls more of a pastry or are they made from real dragon?" Beerus asked.

"You dumbass, they aren't food!" Gotenks yelled. "You are being a child throwing a fit over pudding!"

"You mean to make my pudding travesty seem less than it is?" Beerus glared. "I've never had it before! I don't know what it tastes like. It could change how I view culinarily delicacies entirely. I'll live eons never knowing what I missed! I think you need some discipline." He proceeded to tap Gotenks' wrist until he was yelling in pain. Then he flicked his forehead sending him flying against the wall.

"Never mind, sir." Gotenks stammered as he fell to the ground. When he defused Chi-Chi and Bulma came running to them.

Piccolo, 18, and Tien didn't hesitate to fly up and begin attacking Beerus. He dodged all their attacks with ease. He opened his eyes and a rush of wind attacked them and all three dropped back down.

"He caused this much damage without even touching us." Piccolo panted.

"Whis I'm ready to leave!" Beerus yelled to his attendant. Whis ignored him and continued to eat sushi.

"Are they holding back because he's Vegeta's friend?" Videl asked Gohan.

"No they aren't." Gohan shook his head taking his glasses off. "What really concerns me is that Mae is just standing there. It seems like she is unsure what to do."

Buu climbed out of the broken wood around him. "Now Buu really really mad!" 

As Buu attacked Chi-Chi walked over to Krillin. "Aren't you going to fight? Your wife did!"

"You know I don't fight anymore." Krillin shook his head.

"But someone has to do something." Chi-Chi said. She turned to Mae. "You know I don't like you fighting but you have to stop him."

"Mom, I," Mae shook her head and balled her hands into fists.

"I know what he is!" Dende said taking a step back. "He's a deity!"

"You mean he's really a god?!" Piccolo asked in shock.

Suddenly Gohan began to power up. "Gohan don't!" Mae called to him but he already took off.

With one stroke Beerus used Buu to knock Gohan down. He hit the deck hard and Videl ran over to him. "Are you okay?" She asked as he struggled to get up.

"That's it." Mae growled. "I'm done watching."

Beerus dropped Buu and turned his attention to Mae. "Oh?"

"I'll show you real power!" She yelled powering up to super saiyan three.

"Mae no!" Vegeta yelled to her trying to grab her, she dodged him and flew up to attack Beerus.

"That's the same trick that saiyan on King Kai's world used." Beerus mocked. "How many blows will it take to defeat you?"

"You'll find I'm much more persistent than my father." Mae glared trying to kick him.

He grabbed her leg and applied a slight amount of pressure but it was enough for her to cry out. "Are you really?"

With her other leg she kicked Beerus in the face and he frowned. He let her go and got in close punching her in the stomach. She coughed blood and dropped her form. "What the?" Mae said as she began to fall, all her energy drained.

"Seems you are a disappointment as well." Beerus said crossing his arms.

Mae landed right in front of Vegeta and Chi-Chi ran over to her. "Mae! Are you okay?!" She asked and Mae's eyes fluttered open and shut.

"We don't stand a chance." Mae whispered.

"Mae," Vegeta said. "I am Prince Vegeta. Everyone is fighting while I'm standing here scared. Well no more! I kneel to no one!" He powered up and flew to meet Beerus.

"Didn't you see what I did to the halfbreed?" Beerus asked bored. "Are you really going to fight me?"

"I have to try." Vegeta scowled. As he went in for an attack Beerus stopped his movements like before. He brought a claw to his forehead and touched him, sending Vegeta crashing back down.

"You saiyans have the audacity to call yourselves warriors." Beerus said putting his foot on Vegeta's head. "Your father looked like this too. He couldn't even put a scratch on me. Seems you and him have more in common than I thought." Beerus walked away and Vegeta got up on his hands and knees. "I'm going to destroy your planet."

"Seems being destroyed by a god isn't the worst way a man can go out. Fighting a god is an honorable death." Vegeta said accepting his fate.

"I'm glad you see it that way." Beerus smirked.

"I've had it!" Bulma walked over and slapped Beerus across the cheek. "You are ruining my party and I want you gone!"

"Bulma no!" Vegeta scrambled to get up. The light faded and Beerus looked surprised. "Please don't hurt her!" Vegeta begged. "Whatever you want to do to her do it to me!"

Beerus turned to Bulma and raised his hand. He slapped her sending her flying back. "We got you!" Trunks yelled as he and Goten caught her.

"What did you do?!" Vegeta said his energy surging. "What did you do to my Bulma?!" His power shot up higher than anything he's ever been.

"Vegeta!" Mae sat up, Chi-Chi still supporting her. "His energy, I think he might be stronger than dad."

Sparks shot out around Vegeta and his voice was filled with pure rage. "I'm going to make you pay for laying a hand on her!"

Beerus was surprised at a Vegeta's new power. Vegeta shot forward sending punch after punch. Beerus blocked the blows with his hand. As he punched Vegeta he used the momentum and got a kick in, hitting Beerus in the face. Beerus kicked Vegeta up then drove him down to the ocean floor. The water parted around them and Vegeta faked a punch. When Beerus grabbed him Vegeta punched him in the side sending him flying up.

"Stop playing around!" Vegeta yelled as he sent a barrage of energy blasts. "I'm going to destroy you!"

Beerus brought his hands up in front of his face. Concealed in smoke, Vegeta used that as cover to unleash a Galick Gun blast. Beerus blocked it as well waiting for the energy to fade. When it exploded Vegeta was floating there out of breath.

"That's all I had." Vegeta said.

"Is that all?" Beerus said wiping some dust off his shoulder. "It's been a long time since I used even ten percent of my power. However you are no arch rival of mine." He punched Vegeta sending him back down. "At least you were more entertaining than that other saiyan or the half breed."

"Vegeta!" Bulma and Trunks ran to him.

"It's over. We can't stop him." Vegeta coughed.

Beerus floated down and stared out over them. "I think I'm having second thoughts. While your warriors are weak your food is some of the best I've ever had."

"If it's food you want then why don't you stay and try more!" Bulma said trying to sway the god.

"You mean there's more?" Beerus asked surprised.

"Of course! What you had was only a fraction. You wouldn't wanna destroy the planet without trying everything now would you?" Bulma said.

"Alright then I'm going to give your Earth a second chance." Beerus grinned.
