"Let's get started." Goku said with a determined look. "The fusion technique is like a dance. You have to do a specific series of moves and your timing has to be just right. It's not hard to learn but it does take practice."

"A dance?" Trunks asked. "I don't think this fusion is as great as you say it is."

"Just give it a try." Goku said.

"Fine but I still think it's stupid." Trunks mumbled.

"Can you just shut up and do what you are told!" Mae snapped.

"It's okay." Goku said glancing at Mae. "Now both of you power up to super saiyan." Without hesitation both boys powered up. "Okay now raise your levels as high as you can."

As their power rose Piccolo entered the training room. "Their Power is amazing for their age." He said standing next to Mae.

"Yea I'm really impressed." Mae said crossing her arms. 'I wonder if Goten would be stronger if I had taken the time to train him.' She thought as the boys reached their maximum power.

"Okay now raise it to your max." Goku said.

"What?!" Goten and Trunks said surprised. "But we did already!"

"Oh that's okay then." Goku said. "Trunks your power level is higher, lower it a bit to match Goten's."

While they got their power levels sorted out Mae turned to Piccolo, "So you came to learn this fusion?"

"Yea I figured it would be a good thing to learn. Plus you can be a bit harsh when training." Piccolo said honestly.

"I just don't see any point to being soft." Mae said looking at the boys.

"Vegeta taught you that." Piccolo said as Trunks and Goten reached equal power levels.

"Yea he did." Mae shrugged.

"Now that your energies are even remember how this feels, now go back to your base forms." Goku instructed.

"How come Goten couldn't just raise his power level to match mine?" Trunks asked.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't!" Goten said looking down.

"It's okay, son. Trunks is older so it's only natural that his power level is a bit higher." Goku explained.

Suddenly Bulma burst in, "Goku I don't want my son getting hurt!"

"Bulma come on you can't be in here." Krillin said following her.

"I deserve to be here for Trunks." Bulma snapped.

"Come on let them train." Krillin said putting Bulma over his shoulder and carried her out.

"Krillin let me go!" Bulma demanded.

"Sorry about the interruption!" Krillin laughed as he left the room.

"I wanna try again." Trunks said.

"Me too!" Goten nodded, both were eager to train.

While Babidi and Majin Buu were destroying another city a woman from the tournament contacted them. "Hello Babidi? We have some information about the boy called Trunks." She said.

"Oh you do?" Babidi grinned. "Let's hear it then."

"Well you see Trunks cheated in the tournament and beat my son. So when I found out where he lives I figured it would be a good idea to tell you!" The woman explained.

"Hurry up and tell me or I will kill you." Babidi threatened.

"How rude! Fine he lives at Capsule Corp in West City." The woman said.

"Very good. Thank you for this information." Babidi said cutting off the connection.

"Okay now I want you boys to power up as much as you can without using super saiyan." Goku said.

"Why not super saiyan?" Goten asked.

"It'll be hard to learn if there is strain on your bodies." Mae said.

"Attention people of earth!" Babidi's voice sounded in their heads yet again. "I am eager to meet you, Trunks. In fact I'm on my way to Capsule Corp in West City right now. That is where you live right. I do hope that you will be there, it would be unfortunate for your friends and family to pay the price." Babidi laughed as the connection faded.

"We have to go help!" Trunks exclaimed.

Bulma came rushing back in, "I heard what's happening! Goku my parents are still there!"

"We can just bring them back with the dragon balls." Goku reminded them.

"No we can't. We only have one wish left." Piccolo reminded them. "Since we used a wish to bring everyone back from the tournament we only have one to fix Majin Buu's destruction."

"Hmm, maybe if we ask Shenron really nicely he will let us wish for two new wishes." Goku said cheerfully.

"You're an idiot." Mae sighed.

"Do you think that will really work?" Piccolo asked.

"I don't see why not!" Goku said as Mae just shook her head.

"If Buu destroys West City then the dragon radar will be destroyed too." Bulma interjected.

"Oh yea that would be bad." Goku said. "Okay, Trunks you go to Capsule Corp and get the radar and Mae and I will hold off Babidi and Majin Buu."

"You want me to come?" Mae asked slightly surprised.

"Sure would be better if there were two of us." Goku smiled at her.

Mae paused, "well if you think so."

"Trunks go now and fly as fast as you can!" Goku said. Trunks nodded and powered up to super saiyan and took off to his home.

"I hope he will be okay." Bulma sighed watching her son fly off.

"He's strong, he'll be okay." Goku said putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Bulma," Mae said softly. "I'm sorry I was too weak to protect Vegeta. I won't let anything happen to Trunks."

Bulma gave Mae a hug, "I know you will protect him. Also don't blame yourself for Vegeta."

Mae hugged her back before Goku touched her arm, "Mae, we gotta go now." Mae nodded and grabbed his wrist. "Goten I want you to hold down the fort."

"Okay! Good luck Dad, sis!" Goten waved to them.

Goku put his fingers to his forehead and searched for Majin Buu's energy, once he found it he used his instant transmission. They arrived right in front of the wizard and his monster. Buu screeched to a halt and Babidi snapped, "What are you doing Buu!" He looked forward and saw Goku and Mae floating in front of them. "Oh I thought Vegeta finished you both off. I should thank you both, if it weren't for you Majin Buu might not be here."

Goku glared at them, "We underestimated Majin Buu. Vegeta and I never would have allowed you to revive him if we knew he was this strong."

Babidi turned his attention to Mae, "you are the girl Dabura said would make a good addition to our cause. Have you come to join us?"

"I would never join you." Mae spat. "You are the reason Gohan and Vegeta are dead."

"Hmm, perhaps you have information about those brats then." Babidi snickered.

"One of those brats is my son." Goku said. "No, we came to give you a warning."

"Me? A warning?" Babidi and Buu started laughing.

"The three people you are looking for will come soon enough." Goku said. "So why don't you stop all this destruction until they arrive."

"What, are they planning something?" Babidi laughed.

"Once they are done with their training they are going to defeat you both." Mae said.

Buu and Babidi started to laugh more. "No I don't think we are going to stop. In fact we are on our way to Capsule Corp."

"If you want to go there you have to go through me." Goku said frowning at them.

"Fine then. Majin Buu destroy them both!" Babidi commanded as Buu started to dance.

"I don't get why you let this guy boss you around." Mae said. "You have to be a thousand times stronger than Babidi."

Buu stopped dancing around and looked at Mae and Goku. "Shut up girl!" Babidi snapped at her. "I revived Majin Buu so he belongs to me!"

"Hmm," Buu looked at Babidi. "Buu no like you!"

"Don't make me put you back in your ball." Babidi threatened.

"Okay. Buu no like them more." Majin Buu said turning his attention to the two saiyans.

'Looks like talking won't work. I'll have to fight.' Goku thought to himself as he powered up to super saiyan two.

"Vegeta did this trick, too bad it didn't work out for him." Babidi said mockingly.

Mae gritted her teeth and moved forward. Goku put his hand in front of her, stopping her. "That bastard." Mae muttered.

"I don't think an ascended saiyan will be much of a challenge for you. Luckily I have a level beyond this one." Goku smirked.

Mae looked up at him in disbelief, "a new level?" She asked quietly.

"Well I'm not interested. You see we can't keep the people of West City waiting." Babidi said. "In fact why don't we show the whole world what happens when you get in our way." Suddenly he was broadcasting their conversation to the entire planet.

'We only need to distract them long enough for Trunks to get the radar.' Goku thought.

As Trunks was flying home he felt Goku's power surge. "He's as strong as my dad was." He said stopping mid flight. "What should I do?" He could hear Babidi inside his head as well.

"Why is he sitting still?" Mae whispered referring to Trunks.

"I don't know, but he needs to hurry." Goku whispered back.

"Goten's dad and Mae might need my help." Trunks said weighing his options. He closed his eyes and watched the scene in front of him. He could clearly see Mae and Goku facing Babidi.

Suddenly Mae shouted, "move your ass! We don't have time for you to sit there, hurry up and get the damn radar!"

"Oh crap!" Trunks jumped back. "She didn't have to yell at me." He muttered as he raced home.

"What was that?" Babidi asked in surprise. "Are you so scared you are hallucinating?"

"Maybe, maybe not." Mae shrugged.

Goku dropped back down to his base form. "Actually why don't I give you a lesson about super saiyans."

"Don't bother." Babidi said.

"Mae I want you to stand back and watch." Goku said ignoring Babidi.

"Why did you bring me if I'm not going to fight?" Mae asked impatiently.

"Because I want you to learn a new level of super saiyan." Goku grinned.

"So there really is a new level." Mae blinked at him. "You really think I can go beyond super saiyan two?"

"Yea I do!" Goku said confidently. "Now Babidi, Majin Buu pay close attention." He said as he started to power up.
