"What do you mean she doesn't?" Krillin asked. "Just look at her fight!"

Videl was starting to breathe heavier but she still had a look of determination on her face. Spopovich walked over to her and punched her hard bringing her to the ground. Videl got back up and tried to defend herself as he came again, this time kicking her out of the ring. Videl willed herself to fly stopping just before she touched the grass.

"That's it Videl!" Gohan cheered.

"She should have fallen." Goku said. His eyes narrowed at the giant, bald man.

"I won't give up." Videl said as she touched back down on the arena.

"Why do you think she should give up?" Gohan asked. There was slight frustration in his voice.

"There's something weird about that guy." Goku explained. "There's no way he should still be standing after all of her attacks!"

Videl was back on defense as Spopovich began pushing her back. When she saw an opening she leaped up and kicked him hard in he jaw, spinning his head around. Spopovich collapsed and Videl dropped to her knees. "Spopovich is down. Unfortunately, Videl will be disqualified since she used excessive force." The announcer said.

Suddenly Spopovich got back up. His head completely spun around. Mae felt like she was going to be sick. She put a hand on her stomach as he grabbed his head and turned it back around. "What the hell." Mae said disgusted.

Spopovich grinned and kicked Videl. She bounced off the arena floor but she got back up, blood dripping from the corner of her mouth. She looked up at the sky and jumped, floating above the arena. "Wow! Videl is floating!" The announcer said in shock.

"Yea Videl!" Gohan said, "stay up there until you get your energy back!"

Spopovich grinned even more as he too lifted into the air floating above Videl. Goku didn't seem surprised by this but the crowd was. Even Videl had an expression of shock mixed with horror. She turned to face the hulking man who lifted a hand in front of her. Purple energy began to gather in his hand and he sent it flying at Videl sending her crashing back to the arena floor.

"An energy blast?!" Gohan said shocked.

Mae remained quiet watching the fight with intense focus. 'Please stay down.' Mae begged internally.

"At least his blast is weak." Gohan sighed almost in relief.

"That's not it." Vegeta said. "He seems to have unlimited energy. He knows that if he kills the girl then he will lose."

"Last time he fought I know he couldn't fly or use energy." Goku said crossing his arms. "He has powers now that he never had before."

"How?" Mae asked almost too quietly.

Goku shook his head, "I don't know."

Videl got up and attacked again, this time her attacks didn't seem to do much against the brute. He punched her and she collapsed again on the floor. Again she got up only to be brought back down. Blood splattered her white dress as it trickled down from her mouth.

"Videl stay down!" Mae called.

"No!" Videl snapped back as she charged Spopovich. She brought her hand up to punch him but he grabbed it and laughed. He kicked her sending her flying into the air. As she came down he elbowed her in the stomach. The wind rushing out of her back hit the arena floor.

"Videl no!" The crowd shrieked.

Spopovich bent down resting on one knee as he began punching her repeatedly in the face. When there was an opening Videl quickly scurried out from his grasp and turned around to face him again. She yelled in frustration as she lunged forward again. Spopovich grabbed her wrist and held her there. Videl brought up her knee to smash it into his face only he grabbed it with his other hand. Videl opened her eyes wide in horror as Spopovich head-butted her before spinning her around sending her flying outside of the arena.

"Good let it be over." Goku said. For once Mae was in agreement with her father.

"She doesn't have the energy to fly anyway." Krillin said.

Just before Videl dropped out of the ring she suddenly stopped. The crowd gasped when they saw that Spopovich had stopped the girl from falling. Mae's eyes widened in horror there was only one reason that he would save her from falling. He wasn't done playing with her yet. Videl landed back on the floor and she struggled to pick herself up.

"Videl no!" Gohan yelled. "He's toying with you stay down!"

"Rah!" Videl screamed as she charged him again. Spopovich grinned as he punched her across the jaw. As she was falling with one swift movement he kicked her into the air. As she fell he caught her jamming his knee into her back. More blood came flying out of Videl's mouth. She rolled off his knee and he picked her up by her head and began using her as a punching bag.

"This is too much!" The announcer said. Mae began trembling but not with fear.

Spopovich dropped her and punched her in the gut sending her flying again. He raced forward and brought both arms down on her stomach smashing her into the ground.

"Please Videl please give up!" Gohan begged.

"Videl you really should think about throwing in the towel." The announcer said.

"I won't give up." She panted as she stood back up. "I am the daughter of Mr. Satan, the savior of this world. I will never give up!"

"Videl don't! He's playing with you!" Mae screamed.

Spopovich didn't wait for Videl to charge at him. He grabbed her by the hair and Videl cried out in pain. He then began to knee her in the face repeatedly. Both Mae and Gohan were growing more angry with every blow. Their powers surging higher and higher.

"Mae! Gohan! Calm down you aren't going out there." Goku barked.

"I'm not going to let him kill my friend!" Mae snapped.

"I thought she wasn't your friend." Krillin muttered. The look Mae gave him made his entire face go pale.

When Spopovich was done with her he dropped her on the ground and placed his foot on her head and pressed down. Videl screamed in pain and it was more than Mae and Gohan could handle. Both of them went super saiyan at the same time.

'This is bad. This is really really bad.' Goku thought as he grabbed Gohan, "Gohan stop." He turned to Vegeta, "a little help!"

"Mae stand down!" Vegeta ordered.

"I'll kill him." Mae growled. "I'll kill that bastard!"

"You guys can't go out there!" Krillin said in a last ditch effort to get them to stop.

Gohan and Mae ignored him and raced forward. They made it five steps before Yamu spoke, "Spopovich that's enough." The large man stopped at his friend's voice. "We have more important matters. End it now." With that Spopovich kicked Videl out of the ring and she lay broken and bleeding on the grass.

"Videl!" Gohan yelled as he and Mae dropped their forms and raced to her.

"Should I call a stretcher?" The announcer asked.

"No I'll carry her." Gohan said as he carefully picked Videl up.

"Spopovich," Mae turned to the two bald men. "I'll make you pay for this. Next time it'll be you against me and I'll make you suffer, you son of a bitch." Spopovich merely smiled at her before he and Yamu flew off.

"Dad do you have senzu beans?" Mae asked as she walked back to where Goku and Vegeta were.

"No. I'll go now to see Korin." Goku said as he used his instant transmission.

Mae quickly ran to where Gohan had brought Videl. She was laying on a bed her breathing labored and blood running down her face. Before she could say anything Mr. Satan burst into the room. "Videl!" He ran to her bedside. "Who did this to you?!"

"Did you watch her match?" Mae asked.

Mr. Satan whirled around and pointed at Gohan, "you boy did you do this to her?!"

"Dad no it wasn't him." Videl gasped.

"Oh right it must have been that Spopovich guy." Mr. Satan said turning back to his daughter.

Mae walked over to Videl and put her hand on her wrist, "Videl, you are my friend." Videl smiled at Mae. "My dad is going to bring you something that will make you better okay." Videl nodded and Mae turned around.

"Videl who is this girl? Also who is that guy? You know I don't like you hanging out with boys! Especially scrawny weak ones like this guy!" Mr. Satan roared.

"Listen up," Mae said only loud enough for him to hear, "you and I both know who the real savior of the world is. Keep this up and you won't have to worry about him coming to find you. You will have to worry about me." Mr. Satan's face went sheet white as she walked out of the room.

"Mae wait." Videl called. "Kick his ass for me okay?" Mae nodded and walked out ready for her match against Kibito.
