Mae stood stunned as she listened to what Goku said, "she's just as cold and cruel as you are." Over and over the words repeated. She stared up at Goku and Vegeta. "Damn it Vegeta! Don't use her against me!" Goku snapped.

"You said it yourself." Vegeta mocked.

"Ka-me-ha-me" Goku started to charge an attack.

"Galick," Vegeta charged as well.

"Ha!" "Gun!" They both fired together and Mae braced herself. She would be taking damage from this attack and she jumped back trying to get out of the blast range. The cave exploded and Mae shot backwards. When she got up she saw that Goku and Vegeta had begun fighting again.

Meanwhile, Gohan and Shin reached the bottom of the ship. They found the ball that Majin Buu was in. "It's more like an giant egg!" Gohan said as he looked at the strange, glowing ball.

"Majin Buu is inside it. We must destroy it now." Shin said.

"Hello Supreme Kai!" Babidi and Dabura stepped out from behind the ball. "So nice to see you here."

"Babidi!" Shin said.

"Majin Buu is almost ready. Seems the prince is doing an excellent job!" Babidi laughed.

"We are going to stop you!" Gohan said.

"How about we take this outside." Babidi grinned. "We don't want Majin Buu waking up in such a cramped place." He used his magic to teleport them just outside. The statues of Piccolo and Krillin still standing with their shocked expressions.

Mae clenched her fists. She could feel her rage building up. She knew that Goku had always looked down on her and chose to train her brother. Now knowing that it's because she is like Vegeta only made her angrier. "I'll show him. I'll show him my strength then we'll see if he continues to look down on me."

"Wow Vegeta you've learned some new tricks since I've been gone." Goku said wiping his face.

"Well I have been training." Vegeta grinned.

"Heh well so have I." Goku said as he rushed Vegeta again.

"So Supreme Kai, soon I will avenge my father!" Babidi said.

Gohan swallowed hard as he watched the egg glow. 'Why am I so damn afraid?' He thought to himself. He remembered that Goku told him to fight with his feelings. He wasn't sure if he would be able to. It had been so long since he fought Cell that he couldn't remember how he felt during the fight. He thought of the loss of his family and friends and he let that build up. "I won't be afraid!" He said as his power rose.

"What's going on with him?" Babidi asked as he watched Gohan.

Gohan ran to attack the egg when suddenly it glowed even more. "What's happening?" He asked.

"It's ready! Majin Buu is ready!" Babidi cheered. "Sooner than expected too!"

"But how?!" Shin asked astonished.

"Dad and Vegeta must be fighting at a level above super saiyan." Gohan guessed.

Vegeta sent an energy blast at Goku and used the opening to grab him. He then flew him into the ground. Goku got up and Vegeta sent more energy blasts. Goku used his instant transmission to dodge the attack. "Seems you've gotten good at dodging." Vegeta smirked.

"Yea I've learned some new tricks too." Goku said as he ran at Vegeta.

Vegeta jumped up into the air to avoid Goku and sent a huge energy blast at him. Goku held his hand out and nullified the energy before taking off to attack Vegeta. "Final Flash!" Vegeta yelled sending Goku into the lake below. The explosion created a crater around Goku who was noticeably out of breath.

Vegeta landed in front of him and Mae quickly ran to where they were. "You need to work on your finishing moves." Goku laughed.

"Shut up." Vegeta scowled. "You know all this time I've been pushing myself as hard as I can, even while training with your daughter. Growing stronger as she did, it pisses me off that while I had to work for my strength you were born with natural talent. It makes me even more mad seeing your half-breed daughter with that same natural talent."

Mae cringed, "don't call me a half breed!" She yelled at him.

"That's why when I saw you fighting I made my decision." Vegeta grinned.

"You didn't!" Goku said astonished.

"That's right I let Babidi put me under his spell. I wanted that power so I could finally defeat you. Sure it came at a price but that's nothing compared to losing to you." Vegeta said.

"Why Vegeta!" Mae cried out.

"I'll tell you why." Vegeta cocked his head. "It's because I wanted him to unleash the evil in my heart. I wanted him to make me how I used to be. I used to be a mighty warrior, powerful and ruthless without unnecessary emotion. Now all these attachments have made me weak. One day I woke up and realized that I had settled down, even had a family. I started thinking that earth was a nice home. Do you want to know where it all started, Kakarot? It started with her, your damn daughter. Somehow I found myself attached to her, even proud of her. Well no more!"

Mae stepped back, she couldn't believe the words Vegeta had just said. "So that's how it is." Mae said quietly. "All this time you've been helping me grow and you've been training me for what? Well I'm sorry that I'm such a disappointment to both of you!"

"Mae stand back." Goku warned.

"Shut up!" Mae yelled. "I've had it with you both! You think I'm some sort of damn pawn! Well I'm not and I'll defeat you both right here right now!"

"This isn't your fight!" Goku snapped at her.

"It is now." Mae growled.

"This is between me and Kakarot." Vegeta glared at her.

"Then you better kill me." Mae said her power surging to super saiyan two. "Fight me you bastards!" She sent a ki blast at both of them and the fight turned into a three way battle.

"We have to run!" Shin grabbed Gohan.

"We can't just run! We have to do something!" Gohan said.

"It's too late." Shin urged. "I've seen what Majin Buu can do, we need a strategy!"

"I have to try." Gohan said.

"We need you alive, Gohan!" Shin begged.

"I'm not going to let the people I love get hurt." Gohan shook his head and powered up. "Kamehameha!" The blast hit the egg charring it. "Damn it! If only Mae were here!" Steam began to pour out of the egg and Gohan charged another attack. "Kamehameha!"

"Hah! That attack isn't anything to Majin Buu!" Babidi laughed.

Gohan sent a volly of ki blasts before charging another attack, "Kamehameha!" The ball flew up into the air and then hit the ground hard.

"It's opening!" Shin said with fear in his voice.

A pink smoke rose from the egg revealing the empty shell. "What it's empty?!" Babidi was shocked. "But I did everything right! How is this possible?!"

Shin started to laugh, "all the years inside that ball must have left Majin Buu defenseless! Not even earth's energy was enough!"

"How?!" Babidi started to shed tears.

"Are you really crying?!" Shin laughed even more.

"Master we can still kill the Supreme Kai. Also we have the prince on our side." Dabura said. "Not to mention that girl had a darkness I bet we could bring her over too."

"No all of this is pointless without Buu!" Babidi cried.

"It's almost over, Gohan!" Shin said excitedly. "We are only one battle away from winning!"

"I don't think so." Gohan said staring up at the pink cloud. "My attack wasn't strong enough to destroy the energy inside."

"That cloud." Shin said looking up. "I can't feel anything from it."

Mae grabbed Goku and slammed him into Vegeta. "Big Bang Attack!" They both dodged her blast and Vegeta kicked her sending her to the ground.

"Damn it Mae!" Goku said, "I don't want to fight you!"

Mae got up and rushed Goku punching him in the stomach. "Too bad. I'll show you just how cold and cruel I can be." She sneered.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Gohan said nervously. The pink cloud started to take shape.

"Look!" Babidi said. "It's Majin Buu!" The cloud formed a fat pink creature.

"Is that really Majin Buu?" Dabura asked looking at the strange creature.

"To be honest I'm not sure. The only one who has see Buu is the Supreme Kai." Babidi said.

"It's him!" Shin stammered. "That's Majin Buu!"

"Are you sure?" Gohan asked watching Buu toddle around. "He doesn't look like much."

"I'll never forget that horrible face." Shin said in horror. "We have to run."

"I think you were right about him being weakened." Gohan said. "I don't think he's unbeatable."

"You can sense his strength right?" Shin asked.

"Yes but I know my own strength too." Gohan narrowed his eyes at the child-like creature.

"Do you feel that?" Goku asked.

"Yea." Mae said as she and Vegeta stopped fighting.

"I think Majin Buu just hatched." Goku frowned.
